Nishitetsu Resort Inn Beppu

Location is great, next to the beach, Lawson and restaurants, and there is a bus stop right outside. Onsen was lovely and staff were great. Only negative for me is the room ours was a little dirty (especially the curtain) and there was no drinks/tea/coffee provided although there is a kettle in the room. I think if the room was clean it would be a 5 star from me.

The hot spring was excellent, and the amenities truly amazed me. The staff were very polite and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and spacious. Highly recommended! A little bit distance from train station, but walkable!! There are nice tempura shop nearby!!

The room was well-equipped and comfortable, which made our stay pleasant. The location was also a big plus—conveniently close to several restaurants and a shopping mall, making it easy to find food and enjoy some shopping.Breakfast was satisfying with a good variety, and it gave us a great start to the day.Overall, I’m happy I chose this hotel. While there were a few downsides, the positives definitely made the stay worthwhile.

You can NOT control the AC in your unit. The admin controls it. So if you are looking for that freezing temp, don't. The rooms are so small. It's great for one person. Anything beyond that is really a tight space. It is, however, close to the bus station and Beppu Tower. There is a public onsen in the building that charged 500 Yen. Staff are nice and pleasant to deal with. The TV isn't a smart TV, and there are no English subtitles. The bed is comfortable, but the pillow gave me a headache (it is not a comfortable pillow).

The location was fine, a 10 minute walk from the station, very close to Beppu tower and 10 minute walk to Takegawara Onsen. The hotel also has a tour bus terminal by the lobby which was handy for a day tour. The hotel onsen is also decent. The rooms are a little dated though, the toilets a kind of old and smelly

The rooms are very small. It's comfortable for no more than 2 people. Bathroom is tiny that it's hard to turn around without bunping into the walls but there is a tub. Service was friendly. Check in and out is through the kiosk at the entrance. A staff was kind enough to assist with the process. The biggest con is you cannot control the room temperature so you are at the mercy of the hotel. Location is good as it's central to all attractions. Beppu tower is right next door. There are two department stores close by (You me where theres a grocery store and Tokiwa right across the street). Beppu Station is about a 15 min walk. There is a public onsen on the 2nd floor for 500 yen. Overall it was a clean hotel and pleasant for a short stay.

Choice of budget hotel with neat design good space usage. It’s very small room but still have a feeling of comfort. Great location 5 minutes walk to the beach. Very good for money

Very nice location, close to the beach, shopping center, attractions, and restaurants. Our room was small, but I loved the spa here. They provide yukata, slippers, and amenities for the guests.
