Tickets booked in advance. Came on a Sat, large crowds but there wasn't any feeling of over crowdedness. The crowd was moving so it was quite ok. Quite a bit of walking so those who have difficulty walking pls take note. Not wheelchair friendly, quite a number of steps and escalator to navigate.

Beautiful and peaceful spot just outside Nanjing. The architecture is stunning, especially the underground palace — a true hidden gem. Great mix of culture, history, and nature.

Niushoushan is breathtaking—where nature and stunning architecture blend seamlessly! We easily spent half a day exploring the serene landscapes, awe-inspiring structures, and even enjoyed the on-site eateries. A perfect mix of tranquility, beauty, and convenience. Highly recommend for a peaceful yet visually rewarding getaway!

Pretty amazing place, a definitely Buddhist sacred place with many religious art works culture. Some vegetarian restaurants, but very average, only eat if you absolute want to eat ( food 2.5 stars). Nice walk to the top and the park is well maintained.

A must place to visit in Nanjing that one will enhance it knowledge. Good to visit during off peak and in the early morning. Take note of the boarding gate as return bus journey has 2 route. Don't walk but pay the 10¥ bus ride and safe keep the bus ticket for return ride. Only nice vegan food outlets but one could eat KFC after disembark from the bus journey

It’s such a beautiful, unknown place especially for Buddhists located outside nanjing but besides taxis and a line of buses with no buses it’s not convenient at all. It could be 5 stars if it’s much more well developed for tourists

The museum is really well-organised and definitely worthwhile for a visit here. It is a place where we can understand well about the history of Buddhism in China. There are bus services available that take you from to the top of mountain, but there are still a walkway to go before you reach the museum.
