Nivia Born Boutique Hotel

Perfect hotel for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and a 7 night stay in Palma. We loved it. Palma is full of hotels but from the moment we arrived we knew this was the right hotel for us and we were going to enjoy our stay. |The location is right in the thick of things, close to the marina, Cathedral, Palace, shops, restaurants and an underground car park although with the hotel being on a side street, you can't drive up to it. Little or subtle touches like a bottle of cold water in your everyday make a big difference. The bed was comfortable but they can change the mattress and pillows to hard or soft if you require. There was ample storage for our clothes although not quite enough hangers. The Sweet room was beautifully appointment although it isn't large. The wash basin is a bit small but the shower was large, powerful and fantastic.|The staff were so friendly, nice smiles whenever we saw them and would always stop for a moment and indulge in small talk. The staff for us were a major factor of this hotel being so good. The rooftop terrace was amazing with views across the whole of Palma with the Cathedral dominating the scene. Especially good relaxing with an ice cold Cerveza on a really hot day! |Our only disappointment was our own fault as we didn't try breakfast or evening meal but what we did see peering over onto somebody else's plate looked good.|I don't know if it's truly 5 stars or not but there's plenty of hotels in Palma which say they are and are far more expensive than Nivia Born but we wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again given the opportunity. Perfect.

This was our first visit to this hotel for a 5 night City break. We were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed with a choice of drink and promptly taken to our room. All the features of the room were explained to us and we were blown away with the location of the suite overlooking the Pass de borne (room21). Friendly staff welcomed us at breakfast, we have to mention Cristian and Marc who gave their full attention.|Excellent choice of food at the restaurants and again a thank you to Nadina.|There was a young cleaning team who serviced our room daily and a big thank you is deserved.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful.The room was fantastic and the location absolutely perfect. It was situated just off the main street with easy access to all restaurants and main sights. It was so quiet and the breakfasts were delicious. I had to find a hotel to stay after my husband was taken ill in Mallorca and we had to extend our stay. The hotel was wonderful and the staff were absolutely amazing. Kind, compassionate and really helpful , they made an incredibly stressful time much more bearable . I cannot thank them enough.They all went above and beyond and we were able to enjoy several days there whilst my husband recuperated. I would recommend this hotel unreservedly.

The Nivia Born is perfectly located, right in the centre of Palma. It is surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. You really feel like you’re in the heart of the city. ||The hotel itself is modern, clean and spacious. There is a lovely roof terrace and bar which overlooks the cathedral. The staff are all very kind and helpful. If you want a lovely, centrally located hotel but don’t want to spend Alomar prices, I would definitely recommend the Nivia Born.

The location is excellent, the room was nice. The coffee at breakfast was horrible, the Jura machine was obviously not set up properly. Breakfast is not quite that of a 5 star hotel but it's passable. The most disappointing part was that we realized within a couple of hours of leaving the hotel that my sister had left a blouse hanging in the room- and we immediately called the hotel. The blouse was never found. I find it extremely disturbing that an item of clothing just disappeared in a space of two hours without it being located by the staff afterwards. We had no apology from the hotel either. It's not about the blouse- it's about the principle. Very shabby.

From the moment we arrived at the Nivia Hotel, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The service throughout our stay was nothing short of exceptional — every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for.||The team was incredibly friendly, always ready with helpful recommendations, thoughtful touches, and a kind word. Whether it was arranging taxis, offering local tips, or just greeting us with a cheerful hello, they made us feel like truly valued guests.

Perfect location, staff incredibly helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble, and everything was done with a smile. Excellent breakfast with lots to choose from and a fast professional service from both Tony and Christian. When we were asked how we slept after the first night, my partner said she found the bed good but a little soft, mine was perfect, without hesitation they offered to swap the mattress for a firmer one, we declined as we felt it would be a lot of trouble for them, but they insisted and swapped one side. Again, going above and beyond. We would not hesitate to recommend this beautify hotel and would happily go back again. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay memorable

The hotel has a great central location. Very clean, superb beds & bedding & towels. It's the people who make this hotel special. The staff are definitely young but very efficient and willing. Superstars are Marc and Nadina who went out of their way every day to make sure we had everything we wanted. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Food was great with good choice (just don't order all you want for breakfast at the same time otherwise you get it all together!)
