I booked this hotel due to its proximity as my husband was running in the Palma run festival in October and I knew he would be able to walk to the start and I was able to see him running past the hotel. Although very central the entrance is around the corner to the main street which I was aware of thanks to TA. ||We had a standard room which was perfect and very clean. The shower was a large walk in, there was a separate toilet which we thought was a great idea and the rather small basin/vanity unit was next to the open style wardrobe which had plenty of space. ||There is a safe in the room and a bottle of water supplied daily and more if you need it.|When we arrived around lunchtime we had the 24 euro three course lunch menu which included a drink and sat in the outside area.|Unfortunately the roof terrace was closed due to renovation work but this didn’t really bother us.||The staff are very accommodating and you can ask for anything you might want. The breakfast is mainly a la carte and liked the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The eggs either scrambled, poached or fried are cooked perfectly.||The only thing lacking was a nice bar to have a drink when coming back after dinner. Although you can order drinks you would have to either sit in the dining room which lacks a bit of atmosphere or on the outside terraces which are a bit chilly in October. Having said this I would still return if ever we were in Palma again.

If you want to feel like royalty and stay right in the centre of Palma then this is the place . From the moment we arrived - wonderful warm greeting , drinks and looked after. The building used to be headquarters of Iberia and still has that as a theme in the decor and dress. The rooms are long and thin ( converted from offices ) but amazingly equipped. Extremely comfortable beds, soundproofed and quiet air conditioning a good night sleep is guaranteed . Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning .

We had a fantastic week at the Nivia Born Hotel Our sweet double room was very nice. Toiletries were of excellent quality. The food and choice of food was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location of hotel was fantastic central in the old town of Palma.

Perfect hotel for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and a 7 night stay in Palma. We loved it. Palma is full of hotels but from the moment we arrived we knew this was the right hotel for us and we were going to enjoy our stay. |The location is right in the thick of things, close to the marina, Cathedral, Palace, shops, restaurants and an underground car park although with the hotel being on a side street, you can't drive up to it. Little or subtle touches like a bottle of cold water in your everyday make a big difference. The bed was comfortable but they can change the mattress and pillows to hard or soft if you require. There was ample storage for our clothes although not quite enough hangers. The Sweet room was beautifully appointment although it isn't large. The wash basin is a bit small but the shower was large, powerful and fantastic.|The staff were so friendly, nice smiles whenever we saw them and would always stop for a moment and indulge in small talk. The staff for us were a major factor of this hotel being so good. The rooftop terrace was amazing with views across the whole of Palma with the Cathedral dominating the scene. Especially good relaxing with an ice cold Cerveza on a really hot day! |Our only disappointment was our own fault as we didn't try breakfast or evening meal but what we did see peering over onto somebody else's plate looked good.|I don't know if it's truly 5 stars or not but there's plenty of hotels in Palma which say they are and are far more expensive than Nivia Born but we wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again given the opportunity. Perfect.

The comfiest bed I have ever slept in! The room was very clean and they gave us lots of complimentary goodies, including perfume. The staff were also very kind and generous, they sung my partner happy birthday and brought him a slice of cake when we arrived!

We stayed at Nivea Born for 3 nights and found the stay extremely disappointing! Compared to other 5 star hotels in Palma that we have stayed at previously, this hotel just didn’t impress us at all sadly. ||The room was very basic and although classed as a suite and a 5 star hotel, it didn’t meet expectations. The room was long, thin, dark and uninviting. There were lots of stains on the carpets - it just felt a bit unclean. The glasses were smeared and we didn’t want to use them. it was dusty and just felt a bit underwhelming. The only positive was that it was quite sound proof. ||We found the reception team weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming upon check in. Blink and you miss the entrance to the hotel as it’s hidden on a back street. When you arrive late at night it’s hard to find, then you’re welcomed at hotel by someone who doesn’t seem that interested. No info about the hotel offered - just a silent check in. ||The dining area for breakfast is tiny and the selection of cold food at the buffet was sparse. The food came out after a long wait even though there was only one other diner at the time. The food was cold too. We didn’t bother with breakfast for 2 of the days despite staying bed and breakfast. The waiters were lovely though. ||But worst of all, the roof top bar/pool was not open during our stay. At the height of summer, we wanted to use this facility and we weren’t advised of this before booking the holiday. This affected our stay as we then had to find a beach bar to use down at the beach instead. Nowhere on the website or upon check in were we advised about this. ||We chose this hotel due to the location and facilities and apart from the location being in the heart of the city, unfortunately it just didn’t meet any of our expectations. We would not stay here again.

This was our first visit to this hotel for a 5 night City break. We were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed with a choice of drink and promptly taken to our room. All the features of the room were explained to us and we were blown away with the location of the suite overlooking the Pass de borne (room21). Friendly staff welcomed us at breakfast, we have to mention Cristian and Marc who gave their full attention.|Excellent choice of food at the restaurants and again a thank you to Nadina.|There was a young cleaning team who serviced our room daily and a big thank you is deserved.

This is a lovely hotel in a great part of Palma. It is central to everything and extremely convenient. The room was very comfortable - modern and very clean. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful. They helped us make multiple dinner reservations as well as arranged transportation for us. I highly recommend!
