Super interesting museum, it gives you insight about Azerbijan history. The guide was so intelligent and nice. Taking pictures is not allowed. However, this place is a must-go place.

Ayman was an excellent guide. She spent time explaining everything. She was very engaging and knowledgeable. The museum was interesting and I learned so much.

A beautiful literary museum in a beautiful building. There are many old books and different types of works, but taking photos inside is prohibited. The ticket you buy includes a guide service, and the staff will be with you throughout your visit to the museum and answer all your questions, like tour guides. If you don't have time to visit the museum, you should definitely come to see the building, especially when it gets dark and the building lights come on.

First of all, it’s too bad picture taking is not allowed inside, because it’s such a beautiful place! Your ticket includes a guide, who will provide interesting insights. Tons of artworks, old books, and artifacts of various authors. But they will watch you strictly so you can’t take your time wander around.

Such a lovely place that offers an Arabic guide speaking guide with the entrance fee which is 10 manat- for foreigners. Another fabulous thing about this place is that it opens on a Monday unlike other museums, apparently most museums close on Mondays. You’re not allowed to take any pictures except once you are done with the tour by the front door. A great wholesome, cultural literary experience that’s very recommended. It’s also well located in the middle of Baku in Nizami Street.

I paid tribute to the great Persian poet and writer, Nizami. Interestingly, I've found that he never wrote a single line or verse in Turkish. As a history teacher, my credible and global sources confirm that Nizami was indeed Persian and wrote exclusively in Persian. When I asked a guide about this, I believe he responded with a profanity in his native language, which further reinforced my conviction. I must say Nizami street view was amazing …
