NJV Athens Plaza

I was really disappointed with the cleaning service at NJV Hotel Athens. Every day, the coffee cups were left unwashed, and the coffee capsules were never refilled unless I called and specifically requested it — which became a daily routine. Even more surprising, when I asked why they didn’t replenish the bottled water, I was told that hotel policy allows water only on the first day of stay. This is quite unusual for a 5-star hotel, as most provide complimentary water every day. Overall, the level of service did not meet the standards I would expect from a hotel of this category.

Lovely hotel, we were so close to where we wanted to eat and shop that it was truly an easy place to enjoy all the activity of Athens. Quiet room, and very hospitable service all throughout the building. We enjoyed our room that had an acropolis view as well as they personally celebrated our 25th anniversary with a heartfelt surprise in our room as we entered. Loved the Korres bath products they provided. Would recommend the hotel to any future guests of Greece.

Stayed twice since we were going to a conference in meteora. They kept one of our bags so that’s a plus. So when we returned for 3 nights, I felt that the front desk was a bit dismissive the 2nd time. I chose this hotel for the good reviews of great service but I didn’t feel that and felt a bit discriminated as an asian. One good thing is they gave us late check out which could have been a great ending, but when we checked out and will have late lunch we wanted to order some drinks and dessert, and the gyros my sister brought to us/ the lady there told us we can’t so we went the lounge on the 2nd floor which was empty save for 2 people who was just meeting there. She asked us to eat outside the hotel even though we were already eating. It was really disappointing. As a hotel guest she could have given a bit more courtesy. The bathroom’s fixture was falling apart. I like their Korres amenities but no other items like toothbrush etc. so it doesn’t feel luxurious at all. Location is the best though.

We arrived after a cruise and we could not be happier, this hotel is beautiful, the location is fabulous and the rooms are great. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly, food and service was great. The hotel arranged for a car service for us the driver was excellent and informative. Our only complaint was I did not plan ahead and book this hotel for additional days!|Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

The beds are very hard. We had a first floor room and the window opened onto a black partition. No view, no air circulation. 2 sodas (8oz) at the restaurant were €13. Kids ran up and down the hall all night. The good things were the buffet breakfast, great coffee, the service, and they accommodated us for another night when our flight was canceled

The room was slightly outdated in terms of decor, but it still offers a comfortable stay. Room service was excellent with great selection and prompt delivery. The buffet breakfast was decent with a fair variety of options, though nothing particularly standout. Location was good—short walking distance to lots of food options and only about a 20 min walk to the Acropolis. Overall, a solid choice if you value service and location over modern finishes.

We had an acropolis view suite. We had a balcony with two chairs looking out at the acropolis. It was especially beautiful at night. The hotel breakfast was delicious. The staff all spoke English and were friendly and helpful. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Rooms are beautiful Greece style. The staff is very kind and welcoming! They provided us with an electric socket attachment so my dad could use his ByPAP machine. The place you want to go! The hotel also has a cafe and restaurant.
