"In the NK Stockholm's NK department store is worth visiting just to wander around its great, imposing atrium. In the middle of the city, it boasts over a hundred separate departments, with everything from restaurants, bars, and cafes to florists, sports goods, and top luxury brands. You can shop tax-free here—they even have personal shoppers—as well as exchange currencies, and everyone speaks English (of course!)."

"Think of it as a Baltic Barneys or a Swedish Selfridges: NK is the city’s finest department store, a landmark slap bang in the middle of everything. It sells a great mix of Swedish and international brands, though people also come here to dine at the top floor restaurants and cafés."

They have several sections and a wide selection of traditional food downstairs. However, it does cost its money. It is mainly focused on high-end products as well as imported ones, such as Italian food. It is fairly easy to get lost inside.

NK is a beautifully designed, upscale department store right in the heart of Stockholm. The building itself is elegant and classic, and the interior feels spacious, refined, and well curated. It carries a wide range of high end fashion, accessories, cosmetics, and home goods, both Swedish and international brands. I picked up a few items during my visit and found the staff to be helpful and courteous.

The oldest and most famous luxury mall in Stockholm. The ground floor is mostly home electronics, a small supermarket, cafe and toilets. Gatuplan is mostly dedicated to makeup, perfume and the most exclusive brands of women's clothing. Floor two is intended for women's clothing and underwear, while floor three is meant for men. Floor four is home accessories and clothes for children. There are lifts and escalators on different floors.

This place has four floors of pure shopping pleasure; all the big brands are represented plus many different brands from Europe and all the Scandinavian countries. Men's, women's, home and sports fashion. The bottom floor is a food shopping area where you could also sit and have dinner, coffee or just a snack. Bring your fat wallet because this place is not cheap!

Amazing store, think of it as a Harrods from UK experience, but you can sit down at the wonderful eateries

Store for higher up brands/ expensive brands. But you can also find chocolates on the lower floor and perfumes on the first floor.

Yelp
NK Saluhall is the main food area on the lower level of NK Stockholm, one of the cities most grand, old and impressive department stores however I'm sad to say, especially after giving the main store four-stars - the food area just didn't impress me. They did have a nice selection in terms of fresh produce, in many ways it felt like a farmers market and you could even make and ground your own almond butter through a machine but other than a small selection of this sort - there wasn't really much else which for a huge store was a little disappointing. I was disappointed with a lack of to-go food and stands here, making it different (and not in a good way) to similar department stores including Harrods, Marks and Spencer and Selfridges of London for example. I did find it hard to find a member of staff, compared to the rest of the store here. They didn't have a great gluten-free selection either in terms of products made gluten-free - it was non-existent. NK Saluhall doesn't compare to the main store sadly, but still, it deserves an extra star as it does offer some unique products in a nice way you can't get anywhere else in Stockholm.

Yelp
Looove this place!!! I just wish it was more affordable!! This splendid high-end gourmet indoor market is worth walking through just for the experience of it. You will salivate over top quality food displays, ranging from meats, seafood, cheeses, pastries, etc.... I can't afford to shop or dine here too often but if you want to try really good smörgås (Scandinavian open sandwich), check out "Tysta Mari", seafood deli inside. If you fancy "fika" (coffee break), check out Robert's Coffee near the entrance... you can get a coffee and a yummy vaniljhärta for take away and take a stroll in Humlegården, a beautiful park only a few blocks away (even though a nice weather is very unlikely to happen.... lol).

Yelp
The NK Saluhall is like a tiny and somewhat upscale ICA in the city center. I personally think that the ICA in Liljeholmen is much better than this, but this location does have some advantages for the people who are lucky enough to live in the area. They can shop here instead of entering the high traffic train station stores, which is nice I'm sure. I did think that since this was considered an NK store it would have more unique and interesting/imported items than my local ICA, but it really wasn't that much nicer. It was actually smaller and less appealing that I would have imagined. I like that they had beer tasting, but do I really want to do that at the grocery store? I think I would rather do that out with friends. This store did have a few nicer stands from specialty meat and food boutiques around the city like Friends of Adam, Sthlm Cupcakes and a Swedish meat company (that I don't remember the name of--but it looked nice). Swedish grocery stores have improved tremendously in freshness and variety since I have been here in Stockholm. This may have been nicer back in the day, but I think the Liljeholmen store has taken the torch. I would really like to see this place be more like the NK upstairs: fancy, unique, upscale and worth the trip. Right now, I don't think I would have a reason to come over my own neighborhood ICA.

Yelp
if i lived in stockholm, i'd go here daily until everyone of the vendors knew my name. everything looked delicious, fresh, and super gourmet. i wanted to try everything but my wallet wouldn't allow it, nor would my short time in town. if/when i get back to stockholm, i'll definitely spend more time here.
