Nkorho Bush Lodge

My partner and I had an incredible stay at Nkhoro. We were sadly only there for 1 night, but wished we could've stayed a little bit longer. Rifos and Ruan were our tracker and guide and they were phenomenal. Ruan told us when we arrived he was going to try and get the big five for us before we left, and he did! I know it's not a guarantee what animals you will see, but he went above and beyond along with Rifos to get us great sightings. Additionally, Ruan was so knowledgeable about not just the different species but also the individual animals and their stories. While at the lodge we saw many animals while we were walking to and from our room like a family of warthogs and some beautiful birds. They also have a resident group of about 50 impala who like to chill on the grass all day. When we arrived for our first lunch they had given us a bottle of champagne and a happy anniversary card which was a lovely touch. From greeting us to when we departed the service and friendliness of everyone there was above and beyond. Nkhoro is a home away from home, with a luxurious feel. Every meal was delicious, you won't go hungry. A huge thank you to the whole team, and Ruan and Rifos especially for giving us the most incredible stay and start to our trip. We are already planning our return and will be sure to stay a bit longer.

The most incredible experience! We stayed for 3 days for my finances birthday. We chose to stay in Sabi sands due to a lot of recommendations but booked Nkorho without knowing too much, but did they ever over exceeded anything we could imagine. The staff were so friendly and always helpful, the lodge itself was kept to such a high standard. Our guide Ruan and spotter Rifos were also excellent, we saw the big 5 almost every ride we did, they managed to spot and track the animals in a way that I never thought would be possible! We also saw cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, jackal and more!! The whole team made us feel like family. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Nkorho for just 2 nights and loved every second of it! The staff were incredible, very professional yet welcoming and friendly. I recommend taking some time to chat with them as they have so many stories and facts of the wildlife and history of the area. Our guides, Pieter and Chris were tracking experts finding us The Big 5, Lion cubs, a Hyena den, beautiful Leopards and so much more. We had 2 game drives each day, the lodge itself and the room we had was perfect and the meals and waiting service was always impressive. Our stay at Nkorho was the absolute best of our 2 week honeymoon to South Africa! Highly recommended.

Nkorho was a magical experience. We spent 2 nights there and it was the absolute highlight of our 2 week trip in South Africa. We loved the twice daily safari drives with our guide Pieter and Chris, who are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. We got to see so many animals, including the big 5 in just 2 days! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, it had 3 showers including an outside one. The staff were so attentive and welcoming, the hospitality was simply outstanding. They took time to help us plan the rest of our self drive road trip on our check out morning, printing maps and indicating the best routes. I can't stress enough how incredible of an experience Nkorho was.

Had a fantastic experience at the Nkorho Lodge. Went on trip with my daughter and son in law and 4 of their friends after wedding in Cape Town, Very comfortable accommodations and good food. The staff were amazing and both Matt, our safari guide, and tracker were persistent at locating all the animals.

We spent 3 days over Xmas at Nkhoro Bush Lodge with our 3 kids and it was amazing. Awesome game drives and animal sightings - our guide Matt really shared his passion for the bush and its wildlife and he went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience - racing to see wilddogs and lions on a hunt, tracking rhinos, getting so close to leopards. The kids loved this first safari experience and, my husband and I found Nkhoro to be one of our best! Plus the rooms are large and super with amazing views, the staff is super attentive and reactive and there is a beautiful deck and pool area to relax and have a drink while looking at impalas and wildebeests. We would love to go back and definitely recommend this « little piece of heaven »!

We loved our experience at Nkorho Bush Lodge. The guides have years of experience and get just as excited about spotting and watching wild life as each guest. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make each person feel like a very valued guest. The atmosphere felt both intimate and relaxing. Great way to enjoy the wild life of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve.
