Nkorho Bush Lodge

The most incredible experience! We stayed for 3 days for my finances birthday. We chose to stay in Sabi sands due to a lot of recommendations but booked Nkorho without knowing too much, but did they ever over exceeded anything we could imagine. The staff were so friendly and always helpful, the lodge itself was kept to such a high standard. Our guide Ruan and spotter Rifos were also excellent, we saw the big 5 almost every ride we did, they managed to spot and track the animals in a way that I never thought would be possible! We also saw cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, jackal and more!! The whole team made us feel like family. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Nkorho for just 2 nights and loved every second of it! The staff were incredible, very professional yet welcoming and friendly. I recommend taking some time to chat with them as they have so many stories and facts of the wildlife and history of the area. Our guides, Pieter and Chris were tracking experts finding us The Big 5, Lion cubs, a Hyena den, beautiful Leopards and so much more. We had 2 game drives each day, the lodge itself and the room we had was perfect and the meals and waiting service was always impressive. Our stay at Nkorho was the absolute best of our 2 week honeymoon to South Africa! Highly recommended.

Nkorho was a magical experience. We spent 2 nights there and it was the absolute highlight of our 2 week trip in South Africa. We loved the twice daily safari drives with our guide Pieter and Chris, who are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. We got to see so many animals, including the big 5 in just 2 days! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, it had 3 showers including an outside one. The staff were so attentive and welcoming, the hospitality was simply outstanding. They took time to help us plan the rest of our self drive road trip on our check out morning, printing maps and indicating the best routes. I can't stress enough how incredible of an experience Nkorho was.

Exceeded expectations! We saw the big five in our 3 night stay, all more than once. The staff made us feel like family, we got along so well! It was the first step of our South Africa exploration and they gave excellent advice for the remainder of our trip. Would highly recommend, we will return if ever back in the area. Impressive to remember the staff as much as the big 5!

We loved our experience at Nkorho Bush Lodge. The guides have years of experience and get just as excited about spotting and watching wild life as each guest. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make each person feel like a very valued guest. The atmosphere felt both intimate and relaxing. Great way to enjoy the wild life of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve.

If you are thinking about booking Nkorho, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. We just returned from the most amazing trip and it’s difficult to put into words how special this place is. The location, the rooms, the animals but most importantly, the staff - who are second to none. Our ranger Ruan and our tracker Rifus were so friendly and knowledgeable - we couldn’t have asked for better. Luca on the bar couldn’t have made us feel more at home. 10/10s across the board. Thank you! We will be back!

The Nkorho Bush Lodge was by far the best experience we had while staying in South Africa. The staff is super friendly and the rangers are very experienced. Since we could only stay for one night, they tried extra hard to find the Big Five.. and they managed to achieve this in only two hours! Absolutely amazing.. as were the rooms and food!

Nkorho Bush Lodge has eight chalets and a very active watering hole which could be viewed from our room.||Escorts to your room at night are a must. The resident hippo leaves the watering hole to graze around the lodge, and the ever present hyenas seem determined to qualify for a room of their own. Falling to sleep to the sound of wildlife is a lullaby only Africa can produce.||Of our 28 days on safari, the incredible team of Matt and David produced some of our favourite wildlife experiences. We had countless incredible wildlife and many predator encounters including leopard cubs.||The staff made us feel like family and with the coffee being the best I've had in South Africa, we've already booked a return stay.
