Best location! Walking distance to all the main attractions. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were so helpful and organised an early morning taxi for us and had our breakfast boxes ready. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again. Also, the breakfast was fantastic, a mix of continental and Greek delicacies. Yum! Rooftop bar with a view of the Acropolis.

Hotel is very clean with modern design. And its in walking distance to all the happening places. The rooftop bar has very good view of Parthenon without huge crowd so you can enjoy the view better. The waitor and bartender were very nice. The chef prepared the breakfast buffet was very nice too. It's a very nice experience to stay here.

Great location! 5 min walk to Monastiraki square. Rooms were okay but location was key! Late night check in was great. Restaurants near by and coffee/ pastry place near by was a bonus. Roof top patio had a great view!

It was hot in Athens! But our room was blessedly cool. It was a 15-minute walk to the Acropolis and we were surrounded by restaurants and shops. Front desk staff was very helpful, and everything we wanted to do in Athens was within walking distance. A great home base for the 4 of us in Athens!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at NLH Monastiraki Hotel in Athens. I had booked the Grand Loft Suite with Balcony, but upon arrival, the room we received reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the hotel’s policy clearly stating that smoking is not allowed in rooms. After complaining to the front desk, they simply sprayed air freshener and claimed the issue was resolved – which it absolutely wasn’t. We refused to stay in that room. They then offered us an alternative room, which also smelled strongly of smoke. At no point were we offered a smoke-free room, nor were we assisted in finding alternative accommodations. The only thing the hotel did was offer a full refund – by then it was already 4 PM on the day of our check-in. We were left with no choice but to search for a last-minute room on our own to salvage our vacation. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable, especially from a hotel that advertises itself as non-smoking. Based on our experience, I strongly do not recommend staying at this hotel. That said, the location is very convenient, and for those who are not sensitive to smoke or don’t mind these issues, it might still be worth considering.

Great room, clean, spacious, good a/c. Very helpful staff. Close to subway station. The street where is located might not be the most touristy but is a 5 min walk to Psyrri where there is plenty of restaurants and bars. Did not pay for the breakfast as there are plenty of bakeries and cafes where to eat breakfast. Great Value

The room is very clean, and check in was fuss free and easy. The aircon starts leaking one of the night we stayed in, however the staff solved it the next day . I love the location, it being in a shopping resort area, about 15 mins drive away from old town. Highly recommended.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. We arrived in Athens at 11 am and we had to leave our luggage in n a cramped narrow lobby in view of every guest. No attempt was made in allowing an earlier check-in, so we wandered around for 4 hours even though our room was ready before. We are given a key and not walked up to our room as is the norm in most hotels. As soon as we open the door we notice an overwhelming, disgusting smell of cigarette smoke even though the rooms are supposedly non-smoking, I go back down to reception, they send someone up who gives me a lame excuse that the smell comes from the street (it doesn’t). Couldn’t housekeeping have alerted the hotel and opened the windows and aired out the room??||We were given only one key card even though we booked a triple room. We asked for more keys but they told us they were out of key cards. That is ridiculous way to manage a hotel. |Breakfast totally self service where you have to get tea and coffee from a vending machine and the hot food is overcooked. ||Housekeeping carts block the narrow hallways which make it difficult to get to and from your room. |We asked the front desk if they could call us a cab for the airport and they told us they could not do so and we needed to use the uber app. ||On the day of our departure the elevator was out of order and we had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs without any staff offering to help. This was more like a hostel than a hotel in terms of service. |Lastly, the area the hotel is in is very grungy - surrounded by hardware stores. Stay elsewhere.
