'Serena' - Italian girl our waitress 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟was absolutely awesome, she is a credit to the establishment! If I owned my own restaurant I would poach her in an instant!! Amazing service and very attentive and even brought water for my dog-Thank you . Great humour! Can not rate her highly enough! Food was good too. Will definitely return and will try more on the menu next time. Stanley

Made a great experience for my birthday. We struggled to find somewhere to seat 16 people but no.32 were happy to accommodate us. The manager personally called me to help me plan everything from seating arrangements to pre ordering our food so no one would be waiting when we arrived and so the evening went smoothly. The location is great, tucked in to duke street just off of west street, it’s easy to access. They have a cosy balcony upstairs and plenty of seating space. The theming was nice throughout the restaurant and the toilets were clean and in good shape. Personally, I think the menu could do with an expansion, but the food was well presented, flavourful and the prices were fair. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed visiting and would recommend no.32 to anyone considering it. Thank you :)

Google
Smart restaurant just off the Lanes. Lovely big widows that give an inside/outside feel if you’re sat by the pavement. Food was good and well presented, but not remarkable. Friendly service but a bit slow.

Very slow service at lunch time, even though the place was nearly empty. The fish and chips is to be avoided. The fish was dry and consisted mostly of over fried batter. The 32 burger was dry too. In all a disappointing experience, not one to be repeated. The waitress was friendly and efficient. - shame about the food.

The restaurant is huge !!! Must be great to have a party or family gathering here. We love the prawns and fried squid. However the bread I ordered was a bit burnt. The roast chicken my fried order was large portions, will suggest to share w two ppl. The fries was super good !!! Will come back for that fries again. And the bartenders looks rly cool, must try their cocktails next time 👍👍

Had the pleasure of going to No32 for some quiet drinks and relaxed time. Andy our waiter was exceptional, super lovely and very helpful, a wide range of drinks are offered for very reasonable prices. Highly recommend for any occasion. Keep up the great work

First time eating here after walking past for years. Made a late Saturday night booking and was able to get a table. Food was surprisingly good. Chicken was moist and not dry. Chips were fantastic. Basic but so many places get it wrong. Good service too.

Yelp
Great evening at No32. I'd now been in since the revamp and I'm loving the style! I had a gluten free falafel burger, which had halloumi. It was very tasty, although a touch on the dry side. I remedied the situation with a bit of mayo! It can be hard to find gluten free options, I struggle myself! The milkshake was divine - I went for the banana option, all the noms. The chips were very tasty too and I was delighted to have a pickle on the side, this has become something I'm very fond of recently. So massive win there. Thoroughly lovely evening, it was great to meet new people and see some old faces too. Wonderful evening!

Yelp
A real gem tucked away on Duke Street, you could easily walk past it but you would miss out. The inside is like a tardis and goes back a long way but also up! There is a gorgeous little terrace balcony, with limited seating, but a real treat if there is room for you. I opted for the classic burger which had THE best bacon in it and was served on a really good bun - very important for a good burger! This was served with some skin on skinny fries which I really liked, although everyone in my group added salt, I found them to be just right. I also had the cherry milkshake which was really thick and had a super cherry taste - I just wish it was bigger as it was delicious!

Yelp
No 32 is spacious yet intimate. It's situated over two levels and includes a balcony and an outdoor seating area too. The décor is just sublime. I can't even describe it, you need to go and look for yourselves. I ordered a strawberry milkshake and it was thick and deliciously cold! I then opted for a no32 classic burger which had bacon, monterey jack, relish and pickles in a brioche bun. It was really tasty and didn't leave me feeling stuffed. It came with fries which were served in an adorable mini saucepan. I'd been past the restaurant loads of times but was hesitant to go in as it looked really dark from the outside; it's actually so light and open. If definitely recommend coming here; especially if you have a large party!

Yelp
This place smells great. That's the first thing I noticed as I walked in. There is a very subtle hint of bergamot and sandalwood. This sits well with me. It's also impeccably clean and the lighting is perfect for sitting down and reading my Kindle. That's what I was thinking... as I was about to have lunch with Sophie. This place is actually MASSIVE. I like plenty of space to breathe. I had plenty. Don't make the mistake of walking past with the assumption that you will be cramped up against another table. Before I visited, I had assumed that No 32 was nothing more than a middle-class cocktail bar that served a few nibbles. I was almost entirely wrong. I was having lunch with Sophie, a few tables away there were some 40 somethings having some kind of Christmas catch up across the room there was a woman sitting alone doing some work on her laptop. It's peaceful, I like it. The food is also A LOT better than I had expected it to be. I don't think No 32 is particularly well known for its food, but I'd highly recommend eating here if you're looking for a reasonable mid-priced lunch in the middle of town. Sophie and I shared a Classic Burger and Chicken and Chorizo Burger, both with fries. These were priced at £12 ish each. As far as Classic Beef burgers go, this was a 7/10. It's not Burger Bros tasty but it probably makes it into my top 5 favourite burgers in Brighton. The Chicken and Chorizo burger is a new favourite of mine. I'm going for 9/10. Could have done with a little bit more chorizo-ey sauce and a tad more moisture but it was really great. I'd go as far as saying this is in my top 3 for chicken burgers in Brighton. The fries were crispy AND soft. I have no idea how they have achieved this. It was a lovely lunch. I will go back, I will breathe easy, I will eat the chicken burger and I will enjoy reading.

Yelp
never been to the venue before but was pleasantly surprised, decor inside was amazing and well air conned for a hot day like today. Kyle and hos staff were amazing very friendly and attentive. Brilliant outdoor area as well as a swanky open top balcony Very good burgers and the milkshakes are to die for well worth a visit.

Yelp
I went to number 32 with a friend for cocktails and lunch and wasn't disappointed! First of all, the staff were absolutely spotless in their service. Friendly, attentive, tidy and well presented. The cocktails didn't take long to make and we got a second round we enjoyed the so much. I had the falafel burger with halumi, which I really really loved. The bun was soft and brioche like, halumi perfectly cooked, falafel fantastic. My friend had the breakfast burger and said it was exactly how he liked it. All round great experience, couldn't fault it. Great job, guys!

Yelp
Never been here before. 100% worth it. Very cool vibe to the place. I love the building, it weirdly reminds me of Shakespeare's globe theatre. The decor is very well done. They also have different sections to the place making it a multi functioning venue. Restaurant, bar, and apparently it turns into a club too. They serve a huge range of milkshakes. I had a butterscotch. Just what you need on a sunny day. They also serve a selection of alcohol. I had a blue moon - very rare to get it. Slightly pricey £5.50 per pint, but that's expected for a beer like that! Sooooooo good. Burgers and chips were good. Very tasty. It came out on a wooden chopping board. I'm going to sound silly now, but I always think... You know the food is going to be good when it's served on a wooden board. Reason being ... You can't stick them in the dishwasher like plates. They need to be cleaned specially, maybe steamed? Otherwise the wood warps. So basically they obviously care every little detail!

Yelp
We had our work Christmas night out here. I paid £50 to reserve a booth and when we turned up, they had given the booth away to someone else. They gave me the £50 back to spend on drinks but I was left feeling embarrassed as my workmates had wanted to have a booth. We decided to still have a good time anyway and got drinks in. I was disappointed to find out that the drinks were really rather pricey. The music was not my taste at all but we still had a good time. It was a bit too busy for my liking as we were all like sardines on the dance floor. The nicest thing about this place is definitely the decor. It is very nicely decorated and gives off a very luxurious vibe. I'm also told that the food is good although I have not personally tried it myself.

Yelp
A stunning venue, a little bit of everything for everyone! Having visited No 32 on a few occasions now, I feel the need to review it; I've never failed to enjoy myself in this stunning venue! The revamp, which is about 6 months old now I think, has turned this into an absolutely gorgeous place. There's the restaurant, a separate bar area, and the upper balcony, all offering different feels, and nooks and crannies for quieter moments. The quality, care, and thought that's gone into the decor is apparent. The drinks selection is excellent, and varied, and the food is somewhere in between fine and casual dining; you get quality, without pretension. Later in the evenings, the restaurant transforms into a dance venue, which works remarkably well. The staff are all friendly and knowledgable about their offerings, and very pleased to help. I highly, highly recommend you visit No 32!

Yelp
Been here a few times now for both dinner and drinks, in fact we had my wife's graduation dinner here which was great. Everyone really enjoyed it. Most of the staff were really friendly and extra helpful (although what's the deal with the moody guy with the clipboard who always seems to mange tables etc. he just looks like he's ready to kick off any minute). We have had 3 good meals here but Saturday we went in and the food was dire. Reheated chips that had blatantly been lying around for a while, and to be fair when I think about it the menu is pretty limited. Food was definitely better in the Havana days. But I'll put it down to an off day. In terms of for drinks it was the place to be for a few weeks, although they seriously need to sort some air conditioning. When it's busy the place turns into a sauna. Also the crowd can end up looking like an episode of Towie with more fake tan than you can shake a stick at (and that's just the boys). But the decor is nice and once the music finally gets going about 11pm it's pretty rocking. I'd probably give it 3.5 stars about now after the dodgy meal last Saturday lunchtime but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Yelp
Waited 20 minutes before they took our drinks order...waited 30 mins for starters...ordered steak for mains, tepid- bordering on cold to be honest. Hugely underwhelmed.

Yelp
This venue is absolutely stunning! I don't know how I have missed it all this time! I've been a few times now for drinks, and for a Yelp event. The bars are well stocked, and there are a lot of drinks to choose from! I'm looking forward to making my way through the cocktail menu sometime soon! It definitely has a classy feel to it, with luxurious decor and a relaxing ambience. I haven't been to No32 late at night or for food yet, but I am looking forward to trying it out!

Yelp
I went here this weekend as part of a six man stag group, and it was an extremely disappointing way to start the night. The waitress who tried to take our order struggled to do so for two reasons. The volume the music was playing at, and her limited knowledge of the english language. In the end we started pointing to what we wanted off the menu in an effort to speed things up. After reading the order back to us, she went to put the order through the till system. This made us even more disappointed when the mains came out, and some of the side dishes were missing. After enquiring with a different member of the waiting team about the missing sides, it turned out they hadn't been put through the system. The original waitress came over a few minutes later to apologies for the confusion, and claimed she didn't hear us place an order for the missing sides, even after they were included in the order she read back to us. When the sides eventually came out, 20 minutes after the mains, the sweet potato mash had clearly been microwaved in an effort to speed up the cooking process and save time. It had lost all flavour and texture, and was close to being a sweet potato soup. The burgers were very small for the price we paid for them, and the steaks had a heavy carbon aftertaste from an overworked and busy grill. Overall the service was poor, and the food wasn't worth the price we paid. Nearly £270 for six people to have starters (which were very good and the best part of the meal), mains, a side and two drinks each. This is a lot of money when your waiting for poor service, bad excuses and small portions. I would not recommend to eat here, and I will not be returning.

Yelp
The waiters who served us were nice polite however when I was washing my hands in the bathroom, one waiter left a toilet cubical and then left the room without washing his hands and I saw him back on the floor working straight after. The salad we ordered did not contain all the ingredients it said on the menu and when you are paying £9.50 for a salad this is very cheap. Another couple behind us had to send all of their orders (including sides and Mains) back after complaining they were too cold. The burger size was too small and the potion of fries were also far too tiny for the £11 price tag. I would not recommend this restaurant. Too expensive for poor quality.

Yelp
I really enjoyed eating here. The venue itself is stylish and is a lot bigger than I was expecting. I had the Classic Burger- bacon was done nicely and really added to the flavour-served on a chopping board with chips in a tin bucket. Nicely presented and went down a treat. Wasn't overly impressed with the milkshakes-I had butterscotch after recommendation from the waiter but I really can't say it was all that so although I would eat here again I would pass on the shake. From this experience I would have rated 4 stars. HOWEVER I returned at the weekend to have drinks as the venue has more of a club bar vibe in the evenings and the service from the bar man was shocking! He tried to charge me £8.00 for a £4.50 glass of rose wine. As I had just looked at the menu I knew there wasn't even a glass that sells for £8.00 as I was trying to show the barman this thankfully another member of staff came over and said no that's not right and the barman serving me said oh yes it's actually £6.50. By this point I was ready to leave when the other member of staff took over and said no its £4.50. We went upstairs on the balcony to have our drinks but left after that as although planning to spend the rest of our night at no32 after the service we received we left and went elsewhere. So after this experience I would have rated 2 stars. Which is why my food experience and drinks eve combined together my overall rating is 3stars .

Yelp
Never again! First, the doorman wouldn't let us in, said the venue is full. Unfortunately for him we had a reservation, but he then said the kitchen will close soon. Only after I've gave him a 20£ note he let us in! Inside was a mess. The waiter mixed up the orders, the food was not that great. I'm pretty sure that they don't need my appearance in the future...

Yelp
The interior decor of this place is divine. High ceilings, leather armchairs to sink into and drink cocktails in, and a pillowy balcony to people watch on makes this place exactly the kind of classy atmosphere you'd want to unwind in at the end of a long week. The cocktails were strong, the menu looked incredible (venison with blueberries, I will try you soon!) and staff were always attentive to our needs. A hedonist's paradise.

Yelp
Best Lobster burger ever! Very nice change in refurb after havana

Yelp
An impressive bar. I've often passed it on a Saturday evening and seen the queues. After visiting the place for a Yelp event now I can see why it's so popular. On Friday and Saturday nights the place turns into a club, but at other times it is something of a relaxing haven. There are nice open spaces and a balcony for smokers (with a canopy for when it is raining). Interior design is really interesting too. The staff are excellent. Food is available too, but I haven't checked out the menu yet.

Yelp
This place was a mess from the beginning. We came in around 14:40 and were told it would be around 20-25 minutes for a table, we weren't seated until 15:00. I wasn't keeping track, but it took over an hour for our food to come out. When we got it, we were all surprised by what we got. My friend and I had the fish and chips, which was an entire half fish, skin on. Which isn't normally a problem, but when it hasn't been properly deboned or scaled, it is almost a chore just to try and eat the thing. On top of that, the fillet was so damp it was falling to pieces before we could get it in our mouths. My sister got the falafel burger, which was very sweet and had a strong anise flavor, which I don't generally associate with falafel... Maybe that's my bad, but either way, it was very unappetizing and we wouldn't recommend it. To top it off the service was terrible. Our waitress never asked if we needed anything and when she brought our food she seemed extremely rushed and almost as if she was serving us in passing on her way to something else. This is fine when it's busy, but by the time we were done we had seen 2-3 tables near us seated and gone. This was DEFINITELY NOT worth the time or money we used here. You'd be better off walked 50km to find a more decent place.

Yelp
Thank you to No.32 Duke Street for a great night of networking with fellow Yelpers and potential attendees to creativeyou.uk's art workshops. Highly recommend No.32 Duke Street after being given a tour. Has a fantastic upstairs outside balcony where you can chill and watch people go by and for me as a smoker, it was refreshing to find somewhere where I was inside and outside at the same time! They have heaters and lovely big lounging chairs and could have sat up there for hours sipping away on a gorgeous glass of wine (thanks to Yelp). Amazing chandelier made of glasses and really cool lighting and seating on the ground floor. Found out that as well as being able to go there for afternoon tea, you can go there for either a meal one night or a club night at the weekend! Really clever layout so that all the tables (when it is a restaurant and bar) are cleared away and the dance floor appears and the DJ box goes into action. I look forward to visiting No.32 again as has a great ambience. Thumbs up and highly recommend.

Yelp
Overpriced for what you see not what you get. Warning: if you have physical challenges the toilets are on the third floor. Extra attention to appearances details not much spent on the food. We had beef burger and a whole fish, and it was obviously frozen for both and not fresh, they turn into dirt in your mouth. For the prices you assume the opposite. The burger and the chips were very salty I couldn't taste anything but the salt!! Awful experience especially when you're coming from Australia and craving that authentic beef taste that don't even need a pinch of salt! Another point is that they won't warn the customer for additional cost for anything you add, and for a place like this with their range of prices the least they can do they should offer complimentary bread!! The food is VERY greasy!!! It is one of those places that relay on butter and salt for the flavour. I don't recommend it and I won't go back!
