No Good Burger Joint

This was my second time at the RVC location, and I’m already planning to try the Baldwin spot next. The food was great once again—the wings are top-notch, and the burgers and fries are on another level. The staff is always friendly and easy to talk to. My only wish for this location is more seating space; it gets packed quickly, which can make you feel a little rushed to free up a table. Great place—don't hesitate to try a No Good Burger, they ain't just good... they are great!

Good was outrageously good!!! Mad I never heard of this spot! The workers (seems family owned) were all very nice & outgoing. The menu is filled with so many great sounding options, that ya have to go back to try numerous things. I had to try the vodka parm wings which sounded crazy or different but wow, best of both worlds! The burger? My lord… Burger w/ pulled pork, coleslaw & and few other things on it was one of the best burgers I ever had…. Size, taste, combo of flavors… Definitely don’t skimp out on trying this place. Will definitely be back! Smaller place on the inside so maybe off popular hours to sit & eat would be better if you are in a rush. As we ate, Uber eats or whatever were consistently running in picking up orders so they are definitely doing something right here. So many options makes ya have to go back to try other things, you won’t be disappointed!!

They are awesome here! Made my husbands birthday so special. Food was delicious… even on a Thursday night in January. A lot of restaurants don’t have the same quality when you don’t go on a Saturday. We have been here before and food is always exceptional. Great job to all!!

The food is AMAZING. We drove in all the way from Queens and it did not disappoint. We dined in and the service was also impeccable. We had the wings which were delicious. Then we had the Mac-Daddy burger and the Farmer Kev, it’s hard to tell which burger was better because they were both 10/10.

I had their smash burger from the no good burger truck and loved it, so I came to check out their store front. First of all, it's so cozy inside. Clean and well kept. Fresh flowers at every table. Staff is so attentive the entire time you're there. It's the details that get me, like refilling ur glass without even asking. They remove your empty dishes right away. Your main dish is timed to come out after your appetizers. But mostly the best part of the staff was how sweet and pleasant they are. She was observant of our needs. I haven't had service like that in a very long time. I appreciate them there. I ordered the 2x potato skins, double smash burger, and we also got Brussel sprout ceasar salad and a veggie burger with sweet potato fries. I was trying not to fill up on the potatoes, but they were so good. The burger was just as delicious as the truck. I would definitely return.

A nice neighborhood spot. Tight for space. The Hamburger was below average, fries were a little burnt. I wouldn't go back.

While a small spot, it houses some of the best burger and wings I have ever tried. Wings are crispy on the outside but juicy inside. The burger meat tastes like a high quality meat and is often perfectly seasoned. The second I took a bite, I had to ask where the restaurant gets their meat. The service is always great, no complaints. If you love burgers or meat, even wings, I'd definitely recommend this spot. (Haven't tried the smash burgers or sliders yet).

This is a nice local burger 🍔 place. Small nicely decorated dining area, with a small bar inside. Several options from sliders 🍔 to Smash Burgers. Clean facilities. When you dine in the food takes a while, but that usually means quality. Worth the wait. Nice staff. Reasonably priced. Great for takeout 🥡. We will definitely be going back.

One of the best burgers you'll ever have ! Great appetizers and fun milkshakes . Great for the whole family

This spot is small and quaint. If you're coming with a large party be mindful they may not be able tot seat you. The server was very nice and attentive. He was the o ot on work g the front of the house and handled it with ease. He was super nice and attentive even with how busy it was. The food was on point. The group I came with we all ordered a number of things to share and spilt. We had teriyaki wings and honey garlic. Guacamole and the fried pickles. Fires were hot and nicely salted. Almost everyone had their fresh tea and truly enjoyed it too!

The burgers are unique. I wasn't feeling too adventurous and ordered the Tony Special, which is a burger on Texas toast with Colby Jack cheese, bacon, onion rings, and BBQ sauce. I ordered the burger medium but received it well done. It was a little overcooked for my liking, but the combination of ingredients still made it very enjoyable. The service was a little slow; however, this place is a spot to return to, especially if you want a unique burger combination. I would love to come back again and give it another try.

Small place would not normally go in if I didn't help first. What a surprise to see it so highly rated, now I know why. Burgers are insanely delicious, fries top notch and the shakes are incredible. If that was not enough our server ( I think it was the owners mother ) could not have been nicer. I will definetly be back and bringing friends. An absolute gem only bad thing was due to the snow parking was difficult but still 100% worth the effort

I came across this one someone's instagram that was doing a review and the burgers looked too good. I've been twice now and the burgers are phenomenal.

I have had Smashburger's from many different places across New York and these guys take the crown for the best smash burgers in the entire state. The quality of meat that they use is unlike anything else I have ever had. Every bite is packed with flavor you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is incredibly nice very attentive, super kind and and treat you like family this restaurant has a vibe of a local burger spot. They're not trying to be flashy. They're just being themselves and it works in every single way I'm hooked on this place and will absolutely be coming back over and over again fantastic all around. I wish I could give six stars.

Ahhh. Can't remember the last time I had a burger fries and wings. These were all amazing, and we ate in, so everything that was supposed to be crispy and hot, was crispy and hot. Service perfect, ambiance very nice inside, late night Friday. Not too crowded.

The food is very unique and tasty. Many different options of food you won't really find anywhere else , the wings are pretty good also. Service is friendly and nice. Ambience is regular burger joint. In a predominantly white area of baldwin so POC be weary, i went and had some stares from some customers for a while

I was out hunting for a quick bite and came across this place. I have passed this place many times and always said, I have try this place. Well, I tried it and enjoyed it. I decided to do take out and ordered a burger. I ordered their most popular burger, the Pops burger, according to the lady taking the order. This is small intimate restaurant with seating. The decor has a modern feel yet rustic. The space is clean. The only negative is the price. The burger was delicious, I'm not sure if the price was worth it.

This place is a hit, every single time. This is my favorite burger for MILES. It's soooo tender and juicy and FULL of flavor without being too greasy. Place is small and very neighborhood friendly. It is family owned and run and I love the casual yet consistent nature of the business. Food is always made fresh and does not take long to come out, although the place can be busy. A neighborhood must try if you're close by, but if not it's worth the drive.

Medium rare burger was rare and straight up raw in some middle parts. My partner's burger was ordered medium well and still had some pink in the middle. The table next to us also had a "very rare" burger when they ordered medium rare. I don't know how a burger spot can be so off on the temperatures. The bun was hard too. Everything had so much grease. The fried pickles, both burgers, the buns, and the bacon had so much grease soaked in them. They aren't scraping and wiping the grill enough throughout the day. The fried pickles had a much thinner and greasier batter than the pictures online. The people are nice but the food was disappointing, especially with such good reviews. I don't know if I just had an unlucky night or if they have gone downhill in recent times. Edit: It's 4am and my partner has been throwing up for the last 5 hours. I'm changing my review from 2 stars to 1.

My burger was burned. I was excited to order from here but now I'm not so sure I will order here again.

It was very good food and burgers and the waitresses were very nice and kind. I would recommend this place to eat or go for take out. It is very cozy with a small tree with fries and burgers on it and it is warm

Burger was okay, just needed some sauce. Burgers nothing like the videos on instagram. 3.5 for the burger and 5 star for the nice waiter.

Great little place ! The burger was delicious . I was staying nearby in an Airbnb and needed a lunch place. If I lived there I would frequent this place. Service was great.

Another great experience at the No Good Burger Joint. The restaurant is very small with only 8-10 tables and a few counter seats. There was a party of 10 and 3 other tables taken so I was expecting service to be slow. Thankfully I was wrong. Our server, the owners mother, was wonderful. A smile the whole time and very attentive. Refilled our drinks multiple times. We started with the maple bacon wings. Perfectly crispy wings slathered in maple syrup and bacon. Sweet and savory. Delicious. My friend had the Winzie which had bacon, avocado, fried egg and more. He loved it. I decided on the Pb & J. A perfectly cooked 8oz burger with peanut butter and jelly on cinnamon raisin bread. It was rich and delicious. The fries were good, although they could have been hotter. Can't wait to try more. Love supporting local, family owned businesses.

I'll preface this review by saying I'm not a burger person so maybe that's why I wasn't blown away. Anyway, I ordered two of their "special dishes" - the maple bacon wings and the loaded tots, and the brussel caesar from the regular menu. The wings were fine. There was no bacon. Confused. The tots were really good and I liked the pulled pork they were topped with. The salad was awful. It was dry dry dry...and there was a hair in it. Service is good, they're very friendly. This spot is a hole in the wall so make a reservation. Also...down one star for the lack of bar. They have a handful of beers (I don't drink beer), zero ciders, and when I asked what kind of wine they had they said pinot grigio which I also don't drink. A bit more diversity and some cocktail options would be nice. I don't like eating at places like this without something to sip on.

it took them 45 minutes to make my burger. wtf. they completely forgot to make my friends burger. so after waiting 45 minutes. i had to waiting another 15 minutes. first of all, that was annoying. but also. why did it take 45 to make mine and 15 to make hers? we got the same thing. and no one else was in the restaurant. smh. i mean it was good but by the time i ate it, it was cold. no good burger joint, lives up to the name in terms of speed

Reading the reviews and seeing what we got last night are insanely different. 3 of the worst potato skins I've ever had and 2 okish empanadasbfor $42. Insane, looked nothing like the photos online. I thought it was just grubhub ripping us off, but $15 for 3 potato skins is atrocious. Food was lousy, price was lousy, not making that mistake again

Yummy spot! I recently grabbed dinner here with a friend and was not disappointed. While it's small inside it wasn't too crowded and we were able to quickly get a table. Their menu has some type of burger for everyone. I ended up doing a create your own with a turkey burger and it was delicious. The fries are also very good! For an app we split the guac (pretty good!) and mac & cheese empanadas (heavy but good). Service was good albeit a bit slow, but at the same time they don't rush you which is nice. Prices are where you would expect them to be for a large burger and an order of fries. They have a small bar area should you want alcohol. I think they have milkshakes, as well.

Excellent service and the burgers were good - my family of 4 enjoyed them very much. Tots were slammin' and onion rings nice and crispy. My husband loved the chopped cheese fries on the specials menu but it was huge! Take heed - it's enough to feed 3 people lol. Avoid the buffalo empanadas - they tasted of freezer burn. Cozy space with a friendly owner. Will certainly be back.

Better than burgers; these are experiences. Our group had the Atlantic, Winzie, and Honcho. Other options are a variety of savory and sweet (PBJ and donuts as buns). Besides the interesting and diverse options, the ingredients are top-notch and portions are beyond generous. Our order for three people could fed five based on the left overs (and we really tried!) The staff was very friendly and service was great. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

It's been quite some time since we have been here. But it's great to know they have kept up their standards. My veggie burger was fantastic. I could not have asked for a tastier non meat option. The pickles and raw onions made the flavor pop. I loved everything about it from the pretzel bun to the lettuce and tomatoes. I can't believe I ate all of it and those delicious steak fries. I will have to check them out more often.

Atmosphere:casual. This place was popping on a Friday night. The seating area is small, holding no more than 30 people. This includes both bar area and some high tables. However, there didn't seem to be a wait time, and customers were constantly rotating as the night progressed. Service was excellent. Friendly greeting from the time you entered the door and the 2 ladies serving were very helpful Food: Now I know it's called no good burger, so I probably should have had a burger, but the menu just had so many good options. (Really just an excuse for me to come back to try the burger) I ended up having wings (vodka parm and honey garlic) loaded chili cheese fries and chicken burger called Pollo Loco. The wings were good. Not too saucy and not dry, decent size. The vodka parm tasted like I should have had pasta on the side. The honey garlic was a perfect mix of sweet but savory. The chili cheese fries are loaded with cheese and toppings. Serving size is enough for 2 people. Pollo loco consisted of grilled chicken, pineapple and bacon on an English muffin. It also usually includes avocado. However, even without it, the sandwich was chef's kiss. Topped off the meal with shakes. Both the cookies amd cream and strawberry were delish. I will be back!! If you're still reading this, then what are you waiting for? Go try their food!!

Pops burger: I probably should have asked for a simple bacon egg and cheese burger because the onions was very overbearing. I've ordered here before so I know their burgers are pretty good. All the onions & mushrooms kept falling off and made my bread soggy. By the time I actually got to the patty everything had falling off. You can taste the quality of the meat, which is what I enjoyed the most while eating this burger. The quality measures up to the price. It taste like eating a gourmet burger.

Food was great for the prices that they offer, for a small space they made it look great and makes you feel cozy and not cramped. Service was awesome me and my buddy sat down immediately and dove straight into appetizers. They sure know how to keep small talk. Highly recommend if you wanna have a good burger and a good laugh

When a burger place has a social media posting: Your burger ain't shxx! I like that in a burger place. There were two burger spots that I bookmarked, I chose the spot with attitude. When I walked in, the attitude changed to more like the Bagel Boss angry guy attitude. This spot is small. Real small. The bar is small. Real small. I walk in and I'm told to sit by the window. I wasn't served the popcorn everyone raves about, not a big deal. I see they have 4 beers on tap: one IPA, a double IPA, Modelo and their beer. I hate IPAs, Not feeling Modelo so it's their beer. Their beer almost tastes like a Bud Light. Weak. Listen, I'm not a hater! I see all my Yelp buds wrote 4 & 5 star glowing reviews. I don't get it, my burger was average at best. I ordered the Pops burger. Thick caramelized hamburger patty on a good brioche bun. The steak fries were plentiful, I'm not here for the fries or the milk shakes with Gummy Bears. I want a burger and a beer. Both average IMHO. If you like this place, add a star. Peace out.

Wow !! The hype is true ! Really good burger here. Cooked perfectly. Started off with the fried pickle chips. Those were delicious. They are sweet pickles. Didn't expect that. We ordered the Buffalo chicken empanadas also excellent. The burgers are outstanding. Got it on a regular brioche bun with sautéed onions , asked for medium and it was cooked perfectly. Oh by the way the fries are also outstanding. I think I found my new burger place ! Prob one of the best burgers I have had in a really long time. Nice selection of IPA beers as well. Super nice owners too. Will be back for sure.

Great burger, everyone tries their hand at the sauce but this place seems to have mastered, not too much and burger meat great flavor and bite, tots and fried money and IPAS on tap. Happy to add place to list of reliable spots!

ALWAYS RECOMMENDED ! The service is great whether you call on the phone or you are there in person. You always feel respected. The burgers are top notch. They are made to order with great quality beef. I've tried a few but always go back to the TBJ TPJ. On paper it doesn't sound like it will work but it has spoiled me... I know add peanut butter to my home cooked burgers as well

Fire! Place was extremely tasty . Enjoyed every part of my meal. Got the smash burger with 2 patties and i wished it never ended. Only regret i had was that i should have ordered it with bacon. Super tasty

The burgers were excellent, onion rings were delicious. The Cole slaw with pulled Pork was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going back.

Insane! $13 for a McTurkey is what I'd call it. The McChicken is bigger. Yeah it was good but not worth $13. I'm pissed...

Stopped in around lunch time for a quick bite while showing homes in the area! The place had great vibes and felt like a nice chill place to grab some food!! The staff was very friendly and conversational to help pass the waiting time ok getting the food. The host suggested a burger and drink told me it was their best on the menu and hell yes it was!! Very juicy, thick & cooked to perfection! I'll be back again when I'm in the area for sure!

We came here last night and got the garlic wings, maple bacon wings, a Mac daddy burger and the lightweight which was chicken cutlet, broccoli and mushroom. The wings were really good. As for the burger and lightweight, we thought it was really salty. The place is small and has about 5 tables along with a couple of seats at the bar. The service was good. Not sure if we'll go back.

My families absolute favorite spot for dinner! My little girls really love the kids burger and all the different fries they can pick from. The Pb&j burger was my favorite but I've been addicted to the smash burger as of late, and as a guy who works in the city and eats a lot I haven't found a better one.

The No Good Burger Joint is a clear winner for top burger place around. This place has stopped me from ordering burgers or wings from anyplace else. No reason to as nothing will compare to the No Good Burger Joints tastiness. All the food they serve is so amazing and the quality of the meats and items they use are easily detected when eating there. The restaurant is always kept spotless and they are very attentive to make sure you are happy when dining in. Kudos to Linda and her sons Marcelo and Anthony for knowing how to run a well oiled machine.

Great experience at No Good Burger Joint. Started with the Fried Pickles and Wings. Both were amazing. Finished off with burgers which were also great! We will be back!

First time trying this place. It looks great from outside and always smells good as I drive by. I had looked up the menu a while back and held off because I think it's rather pricey for a burger. Walked in and ordered it 'to go'. They said about 20 minutes. Was a good 50 minute wait for the food. Ordered it medium. It was well done and dry. I like a burger with not much on it. So I could fully taste the meat. Not much in the way of flavor. They use sweet pickles. Did not like the flavor of them and took them off. Fries could be good, but were too heavily salted. My husband said his burger was good, got one of the signature burgers with a lot of stuff on it, but not for the price. Neither of us would choose to eat there a second time.

No Good on the burger. At least they got the name right, was expecting so much better from all the reviews i had read. The patty was kind of dry, not very juicy and flavorful. The bun was hard and also dry, needs a juicy burger to soften it up, the combo just made a dry patty even a drier sandwich. Lettuce and tomato were too thick and the onions were not washed/salted, you have to wash and lightly salt the raw onions or else they're too acidic on the burger. They have a good idea, just needs to be perfected more!

Wednesday 6pm the store front was not open. I called, no answer. Heard they have food trucks now, another woman & I were outside discussing this while we both questioned why they were closed on Wednesday at 6 PM. I guess we should've found the food truck.

Loved this place. We tried 2 of their signature burgers, 2 of the create you own, the and the buffalo empanadas and the maple glazed bacon. My husband also tried their craft beer. Everything was great. Service was very friendly and fast. Lots to choose from, ingredients you wouldn't think to put together work well. Best burgers we've had in a long time.

My gf and I went here on a spontaneous date to satisfy her burger craving. I saw it in passing one day and automatically looked up the reviews (which were really good) since it looked so cute. I got the That Winzie burger, which had guacamole, bacon, fried egg and grilled pineapple served on a pretzel roll. My gf got the PBJ burger, which had their homemade Sweet and Spicy PB&J Spread and bacon layered between two slices of cinnamon raisin toast. She kept saying how she couldn't believe she never thought to put her two favorite things together and that it was the perfect sweet & salty combo. No burger is complete with a side of beer to wash it all down, so we got the refreshing, crisp Sammuel Adams on tap.

Literally the worst wings I've had at a restaurant. I promise you, I was served day old wings. I ordered at 12:30PM on a Saturday. Picked my order up, took a bite of the chicken and I knew they'd been refried. The sweet potato fries were good. Such a shame for a $25 meal. I definitely won't be back.

We grabbed burgers here on Thursday night for a quick dinner. The place is small but the service and food make up for it. They have several burger options as well as building your own. Good place to check out.
