Would give it 0 stars for room and service if that was an option. Booked a room with 'large double bed' via third party site, but only allocated 'petite double' by hotel so beware if booking indirect and take a screen grab of what you book as it won't be on the confirmation and may not be honoured. 'Petite' double was smallest hotel room I've encountered. We had to boil the kettle on the floor and avoid tripping over it (tea tray hidden in wardrobe as no space for it elsewhere). No table or chairs in room so sat on floor to eat. Bathroom door semi-translucent, gap at side of door and full length mirror opposite which added to the experience! Staff polite but off-hand. Beware of 'discretionary' 4% 'service charge' you'll sign up to when you arrive and will be charged on departure. This wasn't mentioned when booking. I had to query this and the staff reluctantly agreed it was discretionary (I had to explain that meant optional not mandatory!). Was awkward end to unsatisfactory stay. Overall very disappointing and in my personal experience I've had much better stays at hotels costing a fraction of the cost in equally good locations.

Nice hotel in convenient location. We had a terrace room which was perfect for the heatwave - cool, shaded with an outdoor seating area that we used each day. Our room wasn't dated, as some have described - everything looked clean & well maintained. There was a bit of a weird cigar smell - not sure if we were under the extractor too the smoking room, but really couldn't fault the hotel otherwise. And the bed was super comfy!

We really enjoyed our first stay at No 10 Manchester Street Hotel and will be back. We have tried a number of hotels in London over the last few years and this one is spot on in value for money. The staff is excellent. There are some steep steps at the entrance, so something to consider if mobility challenged. We have stayed in posher rooms, but again, value for money—the hotel was spot on. Bus stops on Baker St easily accessible, closest Tube stops (Baker St & Bond St) each about 10 minute walk.

We arrived at the hotel early to drop our bags off as we were out for the day.||When we arrived back at the hotel we were told that we would be in a disability room the room we booked was meant to be a superior double. Was horrified at the state of the room and the bathroom was not at all nice, dated dirty and just horrid.||I complained but they did not move us to another room that we had originally booked. They did move us the next day but again the rooms are dated and could do with a makeover.||When we checked out there was no mention of a refund for the inadequate room and they had the cheek to ask if we wanted to pay a discretionary service charge which we obliged with a big no thank you this would have been an extra £20 on top of the £495 we paid for two nights stay.||Not too sure of the star rating but at a guess 3 stars would be enough. Definitely won’t be staying again.

We had a wonderful stay at No. Ten Manchester Hotel! The hotel is elegant, with spacious, super-clean rooms. The staff was really amazing and provided exceptional service. The Italian restaurant within the hotel was just incredible, and the location is ideal—safe, quiet, and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

This is by far our favorite hotel in London. The Location is without a doubt the best 5/5. The Service is perfect 5/5 (The friendly staff / the Welcome / the Cleanliness) The Rooms 5/5 are so nice, so comfortable and has everything you need. After having previously experienced other hotels in London and then discovering "No. Ten Manchester Street Hotel" we keep going back to "No. Ten Manchester Street Hotel." This will always be our choice Hotel when visiting London. We always recommend this hotel to our friends and family and to anyone we know that wants to visit London. This hotel is a gem.

Google
Great hotel. Very nice location. There is a great pub and restaurant at the end of the street. About a 8 minute walk to the Tube. The staff is very nice. About 8 - 10 steps to enter. Typical elevator. We were on 2ed floor. Steps were faster but elevator was great for luggage. The restaurant is very nice.

Pleasant stay at the hotel on a business trip. Late check in was possible and check out was fast. Service was great and very friendly - there is a lot of staff at this hotel. But note they do default to applying a discretionary „service charge“ on your bill. I read about this in reviews so I knew ahead of time but I find this a bit cheeky. Room was good for the area, but note that in this area of London most hotels (if you’re not at the Hyatt…) have seen a few years since their last renovation. Breakfast is pleasant - you order from a menu, so be aware if you’re in a rush or maybe phone reception. The toiletries are a very nice touch! Better than I have at home.

Yelp
I loved staying at No.10 Manchester! From the warm and welcoming greetings to the spacious room with great mattresses and pillows! Everyone was gracious, polite, helpful and made sure we were comfortable. Many thanks to Martyana and staff for making our birthday week in London so special. We'll be back!

Yelp
As a newly minted cigar aficionado and first time traveler to the U.K. This was a must stop on my list. I was not disappointed. Traveling via the tube and walking the short distance to this hotel and lounge was a great experience. While we did not stay at this hotel, it does definitely looks like what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. My wife joined me on this trip and we were not disappointed. The only splurge on my trip was the cigar and it was worth it. Definitely a must if you want to grab a drink and smoke before a show, dinner or just relaxing. The walls are beautifully adorned with paintings of celebrities. The staff was very attentive and did not make us feel like the rookies we are in this arena. I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Yelp
A lovely place to stay. A small boutique hotel, easy to get to tube stops, and walking distance to Hyde Park where I was attending a wedding. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were comfy. Love a great bathroom, which they had. And a really great breakfast included in stay. They did all they could to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Very helpful staff.

Yelp
The no10 Manchester street is a hidden treasure! It's looks like a residential home from the outside but is stunning from the inside. Lovely staff, good food and drinks for a good start for a night out. Just been in for drinks and food so unfortunately haven't seen the rooms but I really wanna go back to check them out. If you're a cigar fan, this is your place to go! They've got a good stock of cigars and their own smoking room. A couple of the room even got their private cigar smoking area. Up for something a bit more fancy and different? Go there!

Yelp
Well, it was getting late on a Thursday and my friend and I were pining for a cigar. We located the Manchester Street hotel and strolled on by. No openings yet, so we grabbed a quick pint and returned. I'm very glad we did. Now, I will preface this by saying this place is exceptionally pricey. That being said, you can comfortably smoke a cigar on a heated "terrace" presumably year-round here, so I will take that ability for the extra fee. The cigar selection seemed mostly or all Cuban, and I was a quite underwhelmed by the choices..but this really wasn't a deal breaker. Our waiter/server/cigardude gladly lit our cigars for us in a very even and professional manner. We ordered scotch and enjoyed the night. Just for an added bourgeoisie kick, we feasted on some light desserts. I had the green tea creme brulee and it wasn't earth shattering, but definitely tasty. All of this took place in comfortable leather chairs, with a perfect temperature on the terrace. I definitely heard music from "Air" in the background, just to make things even nicer. Yes, the bill was steep, but the experience was worth it.

Yelp
Great interior with a homely feel - the food I sampled was delicious. There is a good selection of drinks and they have a trendy, inside cigar lounge.

Yelp
We went there for the cigar terrace. The waiter was nice but we had to wait forever before he showed up on our table. The prices are quite steep. We ended up with a Cohiba cigar along with some coffee. The coffee was a bit watery and nothing special. We finished with a cocktail, again ok, but nothing fancy. Overall ok, but not really special.

Yelp
Number 10 is both the address and the name of this boutique (fewer than 50 room) hotel in Marylebone. When giving direction to a cab driver, they mostly know the destination (e.g. The Ritz or Buckingham Palace) by the name, so our cabbie was confused because it sounded an address, which it is. The hotel is adjacent to a lovely pub, the Tudor Rose and as it is not on the corner you could almost miss it driving by. Carrying our luggage up the steep staircase leading to the impressive front door was a hassle. I have no idea how a wheelchair bound person could be a guest here. Having said that we only had to deal with this issue when we checked in. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and the level of service is high. I love the area it is located in as Marylebone High Street is two blocks away with several grocers, a druggist and many good options for breakfast. On Sundays there is also the farmer's market at the car park on Aybrook. There are several good pubs including Gunmakers, the Golden Eagle and the aforementioned Tudor Rose. Oxford Street is like a moat if you want to go to points south as it is a sea of shoppers and double decker buses, but there are four tube stops in walking distance that can take you anywhere you want to go. Cabs also run regularly in the area. The rooms are small, but that is typical for London. If you are traveling as a couple, take at least a "superior room" as the smaller rooms are truly left to a person traveling solo. Rooms 301 and 401 are near the flagpole. While some reviews on tripadvisor.com have complained about the noise the flag makes flapping in the wind, we stayed in 401 and never had an issue with it. The staff wrapped the flag around the flag pole on windy days. Also although we faced the street, the windows are double insulated and it is a residential neighborhood, so we never had any problem with noise from the street. Finally many guests have expressed annoyance at the discretionary 3% service charge added to the hotel bill at check out. We prepaid to get a lower rate and they still added a service charge at check out. This uncommon policy is the only reason I would not give No. 10 five stars. But the solution is simple. At check out we simply politely declined the charge and it was removed.

Yelp
Lobby isn't impressive but room on the 4th floor was lovely and the location can't be beat - quiet but central, in a great area. Other reviewers suggest staff that wasn't helpful - we had the opposite experience. The helpful staff were part of what made the stay there a very nice experience - they were really friendly and great. There was a little trouble with the internet one of the nights we were there, but they nearly killed themselves trying to fix it quickly. We would go back.
