Phenomenal atmosphere and drinks, and our waiter/ bartender Nick was very knowledgeable about the drinks. The drinks were creative and top notch, definitely unique twists and worth the visit for their interesting flavours and delightful presentation. My only critique, the calamansi tart (which looked stunning) had a very muted calamansi flavour and it was overwhelmed by the richness meringue and tart shell (which were phenomenal on their own, but would have been better with a more tart lemon or lime curd). Phenomenal ambiance and decor, would definitely go back and try their savory offerings and other food options!

Finally got a chance to try No Vacancy. Not sure if I LOVE the place. I was caught off guard at how loud and rowdy the environment was. The exterior was quite nice. We were sat right by the window area where I thought it was quite fitting for the occasion. The drinks were kind of disappointing though. Maybe because I went in with such high expectations. We tried the: Cowboy Bebop The Bad Sleep Well Might give this place another try at another time.

No Vacancy is one of those Ossington spots that instantly pulls you in with its intimate and warm vibe. It's not only a great place to hang out with your friends but also ideal for a date night. We tried a mix of dishes and drinks, and everything was pretty decent. Cocktails are fun and creative. The mix of Japanese influences with inventive twists makes it worth coming back just to try new drinks each time. Overall, they nail the balance of atmosphere, creativity, and quality. It can be a little pricier than your average night out, but I think it's worth it for the experience.

My friend invited me to No Vacancy Bar and we decided to go with the Chef’s Kiss omakase-style experience. The concept is fun—each dish is a surprise crafted by the chef, which makes it exciting if you’re open to trying new things. The food itself was good overall. Nothing completely blew us away in terms of flavor or creativity, but it was well-executed and plated beautifully. The portions were surprisingly generous for this style of dining—we actually had leftovers to bring home, which almost never happens with tasting menus! That said, while I enjoyed the evening, I’m not sure I would return for the same experience. At $95 per person before tax, I didn’t quite feel the “wow” factor that would justify the price tag. However, if you’re looking for a unique dining experience and don’t mind leaving the menu in the chef’s hands, it’s still worth trying once. The ambiance is stylish and intimate, and service was smooth throughout the evening. A solid experience overall—just not one I personally feel the need to repeat.

Looks cozy. Food was excellent. Drinks were excellent. Service was excellent. Me and my wife loved it. Please dont mess this up. Delighted to come back. Little pricy but still.

The Katsu Sando alone is worth coming back for! It was crispy, flavourful, and perfectly done. I also really enjoyed their Flicker Flicker Baby, a balanced, easy to drink cocktail. The rest of the menu we had was a bit hit or miss. Generally tasty, but nothing that stood out. Service was exceptional and the staff were attentive and kind. The ambience was nice enough, but not particularly memorable. It was surprising to see so many empty tables at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday.

I stopped by No Vacancy recently and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were genuinely warm, attentive and easygoing. The cocktails were also solid; well-made, balanced, and definitely a highlight of the night. Unfortunately, where things fell short was with the food. The pork skewers we ordered came with a red wine sauce that was overwhelmingly sweet, which completely overpowered the meat and threw off the dish. We also ordered the madai which tasted pretty flat and underwhelming. The dishes felt unbalanced overall, and set the tone for the rest of the food offerings. Overall, No Vacancy has a great vibe with friendly staff and good drinks, but the kitchen could really benefit from reworking the menu and adjusting flavors to match the quality of the bar program. I’d come back for cocktails, but would skip the food until improvements are made.

The vibes of this place is immaculate 👌🏼 The drinks are great and really good for a girls night or date. The food however is a bit or a hit or miss. Nothing was bad but some dishes are more standout than others. We ordered about 8 dishes in total and out of everything I’d definitely recommend the Karubi. It’s a generous portion and is filling. The Mosaic was also a super pleasant surprise and would be highly recommended because it had more complex flavour layerings that I wasn’t expecting. The Maitake & Leeks were fantastic. And the Trippa is a tripe dish in a tempura like style and was also good. It has a calamari type texture and is still a great dish for those who might be afraid of tripe. The rest were honestly a bit forgettable. Tastes ok but wasn’t anything particularly interesting.
