We had the absolute pleasure of staying at No. 1 Pery Square Hotel in Limerick, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel exudes charm and elegance, and every detail is carefully considered to create a truly relaxing and luxurious atmosphere.||The spa was a particular highlight – serene, beautifully designed, the perfect place to unwind and the treatments were excellent. ||What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Every member of staff was welcoming and professional, but a special mention must go to Damien, whose kindness and professionalism were truly remarkable. He made us feel so welcome and added a personal touch that made our stay even more special.||The rooms were fabulous – beautifully appointed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. And the food was simply amazing. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was delicious and beautifully presented.||We can’t wait to return and would recommend No. 1 Pery Square without hesitation to anyone looking for a luxury experience in Limerick.

Had a perfect stay. The hotel and rooms are lovely. The staff very nice. The breakfast delicious. Loved location right behind a park and a museum. Easy walk to tourist areas. ||Only slight challenge was the parking lot a block away. But was not a problem once they explained how it worked.

As soon as I walked in I was treated like a Royal! Service was impeccable. Room service immediately brought me tea to my room, complimentary. The room was luxurious and since it was the end of my 2 week vacation, I took full advantage of the hotel luxuries. The dinner and breakfast was delicious. Compliments to the chef. Location perfect...I walked from the bus station and to the airport bus stop the following morning. I would go back just for the luxurious treatment!

I had the pleasure of enjoying an afternoon tea today, and the service was truly exceptional, thanks to our waitress. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her warm attitude and professionalism really elevated the whole experience. She took the time to explain the different teas and pastries. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely kind and dedicated to great service.

Fantastic hotel with so many amazing touches. I loved the staff, the location, and the decor. The breakfast was the best I have ever had with a hotel package. The service was second to none. When we arrived, they had a vintage radio playing in the room. What a cozy touch! The room was comfortable and fantastic. So happy with our stay.

I just loved the atmosphere – I'd describe it warm and fresh at the same time! There's a nice park just next to the hotel. The breakfast was really delicious. Amazing stay for my first night in Ireland. |Thank you so much for hospitality! I wish to be back soon.

From start to finish, my stay was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, and breakfast was a highlight especially the brown bread, which was the best I’ve ever had. I definitely would have eaten more if I could! The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows maybe even a few too many but overall, it made for a fantastic stay and a great night’s sleep. The space where we had dinner and the wedding was perfect spacious, comfortable, and ideal for our group. The staff were wonderful, and one particular server truly stood out. He was also at breakfast this morning and was an absolute asset to the hotel. His exceptional service made the entire experience even better. Unfortunately, he wasn’t wearing a name badge, so I didn’t catch his name, but he definitely deserves recognition! One negative I would have liked shower mat in the shower as it was quite slippery when standing in the shower.

Our only regret is that we only spent one night here. Exquisite hotel. Service that takes one back in time. Exceptional. The rooms are spacious. Loved the extras, like an old timey radio playing in the room upon entry. The bed was the most comfortable of any hotel we have ever stayed in. We will hopefully get to come again.

Yelp
I purposely chose to stay at 1 Pery Square to rest and regroup during a December '24 trip to Ireland. I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely everything was marvelous: My room was spacious, well-stocked, cozy, quiet and with a large bathroom; the bar and lounge/cafe on the ground floor offered a delicious menu--both full lunches and evening light fare--along with well-made drinks; the spacious breakfast room was a treat (think shakshuka, eggs Benedict, porridge, French toast); the staff, especially at the front desk, was courteous and considerate; and the spa, where I booked a lovely facial, was professional and relaxing. A special shout-out to the young man at the front desk who took care of all my requests, respected that I didn't want to be disturbed but was always available for a little chat when I emerged from my room. He helped to make my brief stay that much more enjoyable. The only negative comments I would make are that the carpet in my room needed cleaning or replacing. And I wasn't aware there was a rubber bath mat available upon request (perhaps it could be placed on the tub automatically), making climbing in and out of the tub to take a shower a bit precarious. I'd return just to stay at 1 Pery Square. Thanks for such a marvelous visit!

Yelp
Stopped here for a lovely lunch one afternoon. Loved the ambience and small tables! I didn't eat much, but what I had was perfect. Butternut squash soup with the wonderful Guinness bread I ate my weight in all over Ireland. I wasn't that hungry, but I chose to have dessert -- it was a fresh lime sorbet with lime rinds added. Really popped! The friends I was with had other dishes, which they also enjoyed -- including the hotel's own sticky toffee pudding, to which I was a stranger before I visited Ireland, and which my endocrinologist is really mad I discovered while I was there! Really lovely place!

Yelp
This is a quaint hotel that has perhaps some historical charm to it but because of that it also comes with some drawbacks that may be more important to the modern traveler. There was not air conditioning which was not a problem while we were traveling but it could be with the increasing heat in the summer. Also as many people may have a car, there is little to no parking and the street parking requires your car to be moved during the day. I also hated that there was no coffee maker in the room as I am an early riser. But that all said, the hotel was very helpful in regards to these quirks. For one, they generously allowed us to park in front of the hotel the day we had a tour and could not move our car and then they moved our car to their small and limited parking lot. They also will serve you coffee at the bar downstairs as the person working the front desk early in the morning will make it for you. The location was nice albeit off the beaten path but it made it quiet too.

Yelp
Wonderful experience end to end, including breakfast (my French toast was out of this world!) and dinner (best seafood chowder ever!)! Thank you No 1 Pery Square for an unforgettable experience!

Yelp
This is one of my favourite spots in Limerick. Whether you are staying, enjoying a spa treatment, lunch, dinner or just a coffee the atmosphere, decor and view of the park in The Park Lounge it always feels like a relaxing break from the world. I usually head to the Lounge but on the last occasion I ate there it was so busy I ate in Sash Restaurant upstairs. I was allowed to select from the bar menu. I opted for the No1 BLT on Sourdough and French fries (€12). I love the chips here and these were perfectly crispy. The sandwich was delicious. Good value for €12. There are cheaper options in other places but this is filling, tasty and presented well. Occasionally I opt for dessert and this time I decided to treat myself and chose Emma's Sticky Toffee pudding (€7). Really tasty, lots of flavour. There's always good choice on the menu. The food is consistently good and the staff are exceedingly nice and attentive. This is why it gets 5 stars from me.

Yelp
No1 Pery Square provides the best service I've ever experienced. When we arrived before check-in time, we were served a complimentary pot of tea while the staff hurried to ready our room. When we were about to miss breakfast, we got a call from the dining room host asking us if we would be joining them. When we were concerned about getting back from an evening outing, the reception desk let us know we could always call the hotel if our travel arrangements fell through, and they would take care of us. Our room was luxurious, although not large, and our bathroom was the best I've ever seen in a hotel. We didn't have time to partake of the spa services, unfortunately.

Yelp
No 1 Pery Square was absolutely outstanding. Somehow we managed to get upgraded to the townhouse suite. It was extremely well appointed with two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. More than enough space for two couples or a family. Service was excellent from check-in to check-out. All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating and even did there best to try to help us find a place to do laundry (which was difficult). Breakfast was excellent as well. We regretted only staying one night!

Yelp
I visited here with a group of friends on a Saturday afternoon after a long day of walking around the city exploring its Georgian heritage. We thought finishing the day off with a glass of wine and some food in No. 1 Pery Square would befit the occasion. 2 of our party were vegetarian and it took all of 10 seconds to find the standard beetroot and goats cheese veggie option on the menu. Yawn. There was little else to choose from so we opted for the mushrooms on sourdough and rosemary salted chips. What came out wasn't enough food for the cat! A saucer with a sliver of sourdough and a dusting of mushrooms for €7. The chips were unseasoned and looked and tasted like they came out of the frozen food section of Dunnes. What an utter disappointment. The wine list was good and the toilets were clean, those were the high points. So essentially you're paying for your surroundings. Restaurants really need to get some imagination when it comes to serving vegetarian options. Peploes in Dublin has a fabulous vegan and vegetarian menu, and caters for all tastes. No. 1 could do with some inspiration!

Yelp
Amazing hotel ! In my opinoin best place for dinner and afternoon tea in Limerick. Furnished in Georgian style and overlooking the park, this place has perfect ambiance. Excellent wine, coffee and food. Ticks all boxes. Lovely staff. The rhubarb bellini is a must have. Great smoking garden too. :) Love it and a must see to all tourists.

Yelp
A hidden treasure in Limerick city with a beautiful Georgian decor overlooking People's Park. As a frequent customer of No. 1 Pery Square I have experienced not only the brunch, lunch, and afternoon tea but I have also had the pleasure of their Spa treatments which offer use of the thermal suite. The service from the staff is top class, and the complimentary customer private parking is a fantastic bonus in the centre of the city. The prices are extremely reasonable, great value for money in fact when taking into consideration the quality of the services, the aesthetics, location and ambiance of the hotel. The afternoon tea is a must with friends or family over the Christmas season, it is hosted in the drawing room where the fire is on and you can have a delightful glass of bubbly. A must see by all!! Highly recommended!!!
