What a view! All dishes fantastic. Gosh the proper French chefs do know their sauces! The sauce going with both Pork and Beef were just right, rich and silky and tasty… would absolutely come back for more.

The view is amazing and the staff is friendly. The food portion is perfect and it tastes good. It allows different taste buds of my tongue to be present 😊 I still smell the balsamic vinegar (I think) 😄 Thanks for making our anniversary special.

No 35 is a standout restaurant that impressed me with its combination of exceptional service, exquisite dishes, and stunning city views. From the moment my partner and I walked in, the attentive and knowledgeable staff made us feel welcome and looked after. The food really impressed us - high-quality ingredients treated with respect. We started with the pristine oysters and scallops. For mains, the eye fillet was cooked to perfection (in my case, that's rare), and the salmon had stunning crispy skin and moist, flaky flesh. Dessert was a Paris Brest and a divine French crème caramel. Not to mention some cheeky cocktails. Overall, No 35 manages to feel upscale and refined while still being unstuffy and welcoming. It's the kind of place that's perfect for celebrating a milestone, enjoying a special occasion meal, or a romantic date night. We will be back!

We celebrated our 15-year wedding anniversary at this elegant French restaurant, which is located on the 35th floor of Sofitel hotel. FOOD (4/5): Use of high-quality ingredients to create well presented and fair portion dishes. Everything we ordered was exceptional, however, it lacks the wow factors of an upscale restaurant. Menu is traditional and safe. Overall, the stunning city view, serene atmosphere, exquisite food, and professional service at a reasonable price made our special occasion unforgettable.

A lovely restaurant with great views of Melbourne CBD. The food and wine were good, and the menu had decent options to choose from. Matt, our French waiter, was friendly and paid attention to detail, which added to the experience. Check out the view in the restrooms!

Always a wonderful experience here, starting with a drink at the Atrium, got 15% discount as I was dining at no35. Fantastic views of the city. Had the pre-theatre menu. Recommend the Pork Croquttes and Braised Beef, soft tender to perfection. The red wine was divine and staff here are friendly and attentive.

I recently dined at number 35 and had an overall wonderful experience. The service was absolutely outstanding—staff were attentive, even helping us take beautiful photos, and consistently checked in to ensure we were enjoying our meal. The views from the 35th floor were breathtaking, and I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing view from the restroom as well—truly a hidden gem! As for the food, I’d rate it a 7/10. While the salmon salad was flavorful, I felt that the steak could benefit from a charcoal barbecue to elevate its taste. That said, the incredible service and atmosphere more than made up for this, creating an unforgettable dining experience.

Booked a Mother's day high tea guaranteed window package and the whole experience was truly phenomenal. Service was excellent. The staff catered to your every need within seconds, water glasses were consistently refilled without you needing to ask for them, tea and coffee service was exceptional with high quality teas. As soon as you raised your hand or looked in the general direction of the waiter (which I only needed to do once) someone was there to serve you. The food was amazing, fantastic variety and everything had a very nice flavour and was perfectly balanced. We couldn't eat a few times on the set menu so they made a few items especially for us which were also amazing. The food quantity was more than enough and we were left feeling stuffed. The bonus gift of a No35 candle was a welcome bonus, the candle has an amazing scent as well. Scones were to die for and the jam was so fruity and fresh, cream tastes like it was freshly made as well. Everyone wished us happy mother's day which added to the overall experience. I certainly will be back for dinner, can't recommend this place enough, you need to give it a go as you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Good place for afterwork drinks. Atmosphere was business execs which is what you would expect at a Sofitel. Drinks were good but it is always the company that makes a place.

Yelp
This place was amazing. The view amazing, food amazing, service staff amazing. Would definitely recommend a romantic dinner here or special occasions dinner. It was great seeing the sun set over the city and the night lights of Melbourne. You could even see the flames at Crown Casino if you have the right seats. Food tastes great and we were really impressed by the desserts too. Tasted better than On Nom.

Yelp
You know what they say about 'the better the view, the worse the food'. Well it doesn't apply here. The view is fantastic and so is the food. It's very formal, a little too formal for my liking but don't let that put you off. the downside is the price, especially if you are paying full whack. I think it's a favourite for Accor card holders. Each time I've been here it's been at the invitation of someone with such a card. If you are a member too, you will pay half price and all of a sudden it seems like fair value as the food is really very very good, as is the setting and the views.

Yelp
What better way to dine than with a view of the city! No.35 takes its name from being on the 35th floor, and what a view it offers. The ambience is soothing and inspiring, the waiters were motivated and seemed to enjoy being there. The place was clean, not to warm or too cold. They had really hit the nail on the head with atmosphere. The food was faultless. It was served in good time, cooked to perfection and fine ingredients used. The price was right for what was served and I will certainly be back to try the rest of the menu. Overall I was impressed with No.35. One can't help but feel like you are living the high life while there, and that is what a fine dining experience is supposed to do.

Yelp
What a fantastic view of the city. We did not skimp on the food, which was amazing. A friendly staff member came and asked if we were OK and topped up our drinks during the night. The atmosphere of the whole place was soothing and relaxing. I would definitely go there again and recommend friends.
