We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to No35. team for the wonderful job in hosting our wedding. A special shout-out to Jennette, who was incredibly responsive, helpful, and considerate throughout the planning and execution of our event. The dinner went smoothly, and all our guests were truly content with the food and service. The wedding cake exceeded our expectations—not only was it delicious, but it was also beautifully designed! We greatly appreciated being able to leave our decorations overnight, which significantly reduced our stress on such a busy night. Thank you once again for providing us with exceptional service and for helping to make our wedding a truly memorable experience. We will definitely be recommending No. 35 Restaurant!

We celebrated my dad’s 85th birthday at Number 35 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was exceptional, every dish was five star, and the cocktails were fantastic. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the views from the 35th floor of the Sofitel were absolutely spectacular. Watching the city transform from daylight to a glittering night skyline made the evening even more special. Highly recommend for any occasion.

We were half an hour early and Revon already had our table ready and he got us seated comfortably. Levina is such a delightful host introducing us to the menu. We opted the chef’s menu and really enjoyed every course. I really like the gazpacho and the bombe Alaska! Will return to try the other dishes.

Please get some proper steak knives!! There is no point serving steaks that do not come with steak knives. Otherwise the food has improved. Was unfortunate that the wait for mains was over 2 hours. Additional complimentary entrees probably made matters worse as we were too full to enjoy the mains.

- We experienced a delay in being seated, despite the counter appearing unoccupied for five minutes. - The long coats were not taken and were left hanging on the chairs, touching the floor. We kindly requested that they be removed. - The ambiance was quite loud, with numerous tables occupied by groups. - The cocktail, ordered at the beginning of the meal, did not arrive before the food or with the starters, only appearing with the main courses. - One member of the staff seemed to struggle with their duties. When presenting the bread selection, they asked, "Which bread you want uh?" - The menu seemed to contain several hidden charges. Ordering the first dessert, the 'Tart tatin,' which was not explicitly mentioned, would result in a twenty-dollar surcharge as per the waiter once you have asked for it in your order. The Waygu beef, priced at fifteen dollars on the menu, would result in an additional seventy-dollar charge when ordered separately. I was afraid of ordering by the end of it as everything I wanted to order... I was informed to have a surcharge. - The food and cutlery were served in a manner that crossed in front of the guests. - My unlocked phone was taken for payment with the Accor card. (I acknowledge that I should have been more cautious in this instance.) - The tatin was way to sweet, overdid the suggar - The rest of the food was good and yummy, specially rhe eye fillet.

What an experience! Took the family here and was able to have almost everything off the menu. All the dishes were amazing and exactly what you’d hope for with an amazing restaurant like this. Have been here a couple other times and never disappointed. Desserts are definitely recommended to share and go for a ratio of 1 dish per 1.5 people (I.e. 3 dishes for 5 people). We’ll be back!

Disgusting experience. 2 out of 3 plates of burrata was serviced to us out of date. Tasted absolutely vile, eating vomit. Not sure how this is missed by the chefs when it’s a literal health hazard servings out of date food. Waitress took it back with a simple sorry offering another course of burrata which we declined because it’s probably multiple serves in the kitchen off being served to customers. Not fine dining at all, we asked to be moved straight to the main meals as we were dealing from the chefs menu then they brought out their Coles smoked salmon. When we asked for this to be removed the steaks were brought out RARE, when we specifically asked and confirmed for medium well. Mash potatoes tasted like a stick of butter and the chips were soggy and probably air fried all unevenly cooked. Literally nothing about this place is considered fine dining. The group of our who attend try fine dining places all the time as our hobby and this is definitely last on the list. Service from the beginning was foul with their coldness and having to ask for stale bread with a teaspoon of butter to share between 3 people. Only decent thing that came out from this was after having to explain why everything was so horrible was them covering the bill. Which was a given considering we were not able to touch our food after eating out of date cheese. Also, disgusting atmosphere definitely between staff and dining guest who act like they have never seen someone with skin darker than white or a summer tan. Absolute shame with the prices, service and quality being served.

Had the weekend high tea located on the 35th floor which has a nice view and atmosphere. The high tea came with a tier stand of sweets and savouries, followed with some scones after. The warm vol-au-vent filled with chicken was like a proper entrée dish, pastry was flaky and buttery and the chicken was tender and well seasoned. The sandwiches and wraps were also fresh and tasty, enjoyed the selection of ingredients and pairing of flavours; favourite was the prosciutto gruyere bun and the roast beef wrap. Sweets were a delight, thought I would enjoy the chocolate hazelnut lamington the most but the other fruity ones were more interesting and tasty, especially the tropical tartlet and the mandarin white chocolate pebble. Scones were served warm with free refill and the condiments were pretty good; the lemon curd was sweet and not too sour which was perfect. Overall a tasty and satisfying high tea experience; the staffs were very friendly and attentive so it was easy to order drinks, and the live piano was an added bonus.

Yelp
Good place for afterwork drinks. Atmosphere was business execs which is what you would expect at a Sofitel. Drinks were good but it is always the company that makes a place.

Yelp
This place was amazing. The view amazing, food amazing, service staff amazing. Would definitely recommend a romantic dinner here or special occasions dinner. It was great seeing the sun set over the city and the night lights of Melbourne. You could even see the flames at Crown Casino if you have the right seats. Food tastes great and we were really impressed by the desserts too. Tasted better than On Nom.

Yelp
You know what they say about 'the better the view, the worse the food'. Well it doesn't apply here. The view is fantastic and so is the food. It's very formal, a little too formal for my liking but don't let that put you off. the downside is the price, especially if you are paying full whack. I think it's a favourite for Accor card holders. Each time I've been here it's been at the invitation of someone with such a card. If you are a member too, you will pay half price and all of a sudden it seems like fair value as the food is really very very good, as is the setting and the views.

Yelp
What better way to dine than with a view of the city! No.35 takes its name from being on the 35th floor, and what a view it offers. The ambience is soothing and inspiring, the waiters were motivated and seemed to enjoy being there. The place was clean, not to warm or too cold. They had really hit the nail on the head with atmosphere. The food was faultless. It was served in good time, cooked to perfection and fine ingredients used. The price was right for what was served and I will certainly be back to try the rest of the menu. Overall I was impressed with No.35. One can't help but feel like you are living the high life while there, and that is what a fine dining experience is supposed to do.

Yelp
What a fantastic view of the city. We did not skimp on the food, which was amazing. A friendly staff member came and asked if we were OK and topped up our drinks during the night. The atmosphere of the whole place was soothing and relaxing. I would definitely go there again and recommend friends.
