Booking online. $7.25 / person. Different size spots. Check as some spots are too small for caravans. Lovely beach. Saw 3 Lace Monitors. No cassowaries. Close to Cape Tribulation camping and souvenir shop etc.

Beautiful separated sites amongst the rainforest and right near the beach. See the photo of the sight map to choose how close to the toilets you wish to be. Or if you want a site that everyone else walks through to get to the beach. We saw a dramatic scattered cloud sunrise on the beach followed by an impressive rainbow just before the rains hit! It was a magical rainforest experience.

Incredible area. Pay the $7.25 national park fee. Rangers do check :) what a lovely spot. Well worth the $7.25/night and has great amenities. Thanks 👍😊

Very busy during high season, make sure you book in advance. Facilities consist in non flushable toilets. 50m walk to the beach. goannas patrol the area regularly. great spot, but very busy.

Free camping with around 15 spots to camp. Free toilets but no showers. Access to the beach through a short path in the forest.

Well maintained campground and toilet. Site 7 had a nice flat tent pad but also the main beach access path running through it, so probs not the best pick if don't wanna meet all the neighbours. The sites are heaps closer together than you'd think from the map. The whole campsite is only a few hundred metres long.

Such an amazing place. All spot at 10m from the beach. Less than 15 spots all spread out. Clean toilets. The beach and the forest is absolutely beautiful. For the price definitely can't be it. I wouldn't be surprised if during winter they are fully booked weeks in advance. Went there in November and not a problem to book 2 days in advance.

Unreal camping spot. Limited amenities — just drop toilets — but they are well stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, and they’re clean!! Campsites are spacious with easy beach access. Beach to yourself! Stayed for 4 days and we saw rangers come through every morning.
