A Local’s Guide to Argentina

"Belgrano’s Barrio Chino is home to lots of Asian restaurants: I love the kimchi ramen at Nobiru Izakaya."

Loved the restaurant and the front yard garden with table. It looks like a spot somewhere in Japan 🇯🇵 food is super delicious we had chicken brochettes in their sauce. Also asked for Ouakodon for main course and It was tasty and hot when brought to the table. I totally recommend reccommend this restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would come back soon for more Japanese food 🍱

Dont recommend. The food was greasy and tasteless. Prepared with no love, to turn a quick profit. The ramen was really good though. Just stay away from the combo platters. There are way better and cheaper options in the main street of china town, so dont bother coming here.

Some good, authentic Japanese options that will satisfy Argentines (as much of their sushi has cream cheese) and foreigners. Nicely presented. The salmon sushi was better than most.

Went in and ask for the recommended ramen dish. They told me the katsukare ramen is the best. But, it was lacking flavor and the worst was the dry pork katsu that tasted like it was from a freezer. I realized I was upsold by the waiter, it was the most expensive ramen on the menu. The only pleasant dish was the salmon nigiri, which was at least fresh and tasted right. My recommendation is to skip the ramens!! Might I come back? Maybe for the sushi rolls, but probably next season when I’ve tried all the other restaurants in Barrio Chino.

All good, but a really long awaiting. We waited more that we were eating in the end. But the food is okay, plus they have menu ejecutivo, which is good. Prices are okay considering the location.

The overall experience was good, nothing very special. We had the tonkotsu ramen and katsudon. The meat in the katsudon was a little too dry but the sauce and the egg were excellent. The portion could have been a little bigger but it was matching the price.

Amazing food and great service. Price $$$, but totally worth it. The Ramen Tonkotsu is one of the best ive tried in Buenos Aires. The ambience is great also.

A restaurant located in the middle of chinatown. Japanesse themed both on looks and the menu. The place felt cozy but chaotic, some of the waiters did not know what they were doing, they took 20 minutes to ask us what did we choose to eat, and after that they took 40 minutes to serve us just 4 8 piece tables of sushi, something that does not usually take 40 minutes. At the end an employee and what I guess was the manager were discussing about work in front of our table leaving us three, my mother, my brother and me kinda uncomfortable. Good place but not the best. Alas I forgit to mention the price. The sashimi costed the most althought being the least decorated plate. Go if completly necessary.
