⭐ Review of Nobis Printen
📍 Aachen, Germany
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5)
Nobis Printen is a well-known name in Aachen, especially for those looking to try traditional Printen or grab a quick bakery bite. The setup is straightforward: self-service style, where you order at the counter and bring your items to your table—efficient but not exactly cozy.
The coffee here is functional rather than flavorful—don’t expect anything artisanal. It’ll get the job done, but it won’t win over any specialty coffee lovers.
That said, the bakery items shine more. I really enjoyed the cheese bun with egg mayo—fresh, satisfying, and a solid savory pick. However, the sweet treats were a mixed bag for me. The chocolate éclair had a cream filling that didn’t hit the mark, and the hazelnut tart was a bit too dense and sweet for my taste.
You have to pay €0.50 to use the toilet even though you are eating there.
📝 Verdict: A decent stop if you’re nearby and craving a quick bite, especially on the savory side. But if you’re coming in for coffee and dessert, manage expectations.
