Google
Really great selection of flavors! I got the salted caramel and Dutch cookie. Perfect combo! My kids got the Lucky Hearts and were so happy. Hubby tried the pistachio which he said was also yum! They also have pies and other desserts. The place is so cute and the server was very kind. Btw, this is a safe place for ALL! May have limited seating inside but it wasn’t busy when we visited. You can always go out and stroll outside especially on a warm day. Recommending this place is anyone wants a sweet treat while in Santa Rosa!

Google
Really like this place - the decor is original and artistic. Their banner says only 2 free samples each customer. I only tried the ice creams and my favorite is the vegan Swiss Chocolate! Very rich chocolate flavor. The Dutch cookie is also good. Blood orange and pistachio flavors feel a bit bland. Maybe I just prefer those non-fruit flavors there. I went there two times during my trip and not in late hours but both times most special or seasonal flavors were gone or maybe not available at all. Wish they had more :(

Google
Excellent pies!! Some of the ice cream flavors were pretty good- especially the seasonal ones. The macaroons were very good and the cupcake wasn't too bad either. A must visit when around Napa.

Google
Picked up some after dinner pies for dessert at Noble Folk Ice Cream & Pie. The apple and strawberry/blueberry pies were amazing, and some of the best pies we have all ever had. Love this place!

Google
I came to try the ice cream, specifically the Garden Mint ice cream. I expected a sweet and minty dessert. What I got was a very vegetal cold thing. It tasted like someone ground up fresh mint and put it in vanilla ice cream. The mint was overbearing and not palatable. I threw away the pint. I was so disappointed. On the other hand the Lucky charms ice cream was great.

A lot of flavor you can choose!!! strawberry sorbet was really great!

Google
This location of Noble Folk is located in downtown Santa Rosa on 4th Street. We went in the evening so not really busy. They definitely have interesting ice cream flavors with some being in the menu all the time and other flavors being seasonal. The flavors were pretty good but a little gimmicky. The pie they had also looked good but we didn't try any in this trip. Good location across from the Old Courthouse Plaza. If there are other ice cream stores would consider them in the hunt next time but certainly would go back here if no alternate choices.

Google
If that's vanilla buttercream icing. I'm a muscle man. (I'm not I'm fat from cupcakes). Everything looks delicious. They need to upgrade their ingredients. I bake and know my butter cream. It's hard to screw it up. Ingredients count

Yelp
I was never a big ice cream girl but I find myself craving Noble Folk often. They're also a local business so I'm happy I can support local. Their black sesame and Thai tea are my faves and I usually get those two as a half scoop on a cone. The pumpkin chocolate chip is seasonal and so good. Matcha is also good. They have some vegan options. The shop is small with some indoor seating. It's across from Old Courthouse Square so when the weather is nice you can eat your ice cream outside. There's a map on one of their walls with pins where you can pin where you're visiting from. Service is always quick and friendly. Each person can try 2 flavors. See you again Noble Folk!

Yelp
Who loves ice cream? If you crave the creamy, sweet, decadent, delight of a special treat - Noble Folk is the place to go! Hot day, cold day, any day is a great day to have ice cream! Noble Folk has a large variety of flavors (including specialty flavors you won't find anywhere else)! Every flavor I've tasted has left me wanting more! They also have a variety of other sweet delights- cookies and pies. It's a cute, casual, local gem. I highly recommend Noble Folk! The service was okay. Parking is on the street and there is a parking lot across the street.

Yelp
Scoring System: 0-3 Food Quality = 3 0-3 Service = 3 0-3 Ambience = 3 0-3 Cleanliness = 3 0-3 Likelihood I'll Return = 3 Total divided by 3 = Star rating 15/3 = 5 Brilliant concept, a pie and ice cream bar. The flavors are creative and delicious. We ordered: Chocolate pumpkin cheesecake pie, with Chocolate chip pumpkin ice cream. Maple pecan pie, with Thai ice tea ice cream. Salted caramel Mississippi mud cake pie, with Thai ice tea ice cream.

Yelp
Sonoma county staple. Always appreciate the pretty good quality that noble folk offers. The pistachio cherry was delicious and my friends who don't like cherry usually were very fond of it. I like the saltiness of their ice cream which is particularly prevalent in the cookies and cream. The cookies are usually ok that I've had in the past.

Yelp
Stopped in here for some dessert after lunch & had a really good experience. The place was easy to find and get to. It wasn't busy when we went so service was quick. I would say it's nice for small groups but wouldn't take a large group because it's kind of a tight squeeze. We got a flight of ice cream for $11 & it was a super good size & price. We shared it between the 3 of us. They had a variety of flavors to choose from & all of them were yummy. I would have loved to try the pies but was too full. Overall good prices & flavors. Wish it had more options for seating either indoor or outdoor.

Yelp
I love Noble Folk so much! Don't know a place that has better ice cream! That's a fact! I came in during the Peggy sue car show and the line was to the door. The employees were definitely working hard and very kind and patient with each guest. I got the homemade Oreo and it was so creamy and so delicious! I'd l'd def order that again.

Yelp
We love pie and so we were excited to try this shop because it looked so cute from the outside but were a bit disappointed. I will say their macarons and ice cream look fantastic and I appreciate that they have numerous gluten free options but we went for the banana pie and an iced matcha latte and were a bit disappointed. We were expecting a banana cream pie but it had an off texture and the base tasted a bit like banana bread and it didn't have any of the banana cream flavor or texture that we were craving. The matcha latte was also not prepared well and was grainy with bits of matcha powder settled and floating in the drink. We ended up throwing both away. I will say that perhaps their ice cream or macarons would have been a better bet so maybe those are worth a try.

Yelp
I happened to be walking by on a hot Tuesday afternoon and thought Id pop in since it has been on my "must check" list for some time. Customer service was great, they give customers 2 free tasting but I knew what I wanted & went straight for the salted caramel. Did not disappoint! A single scoop is just under 6 bucks which I felt was reasonable for the scoop size & the quality. The shop was nice & clean and very welcoming with the temperature, not too cold or too hot. We will be returning for our next ice cream fix too.

Yelp
Have had a great experience with multiple types of pies each time, be sure to get it a la mode

Yelp
What a great place for delicious desserts in Santa Rosa! Noble Folk offers high-quality food and friendly customer service. You can't go wrong with any of their ice cream flavors (dairy-free or dairy-full). And while you're in the store, check out their different apparel and merchandise for sale, too.

Judith L.

Yelp
I found a delicious selection of vegan flavor. The service is good, fast and friendly, Thank you.

Julie F.

Yelp
This is our favorite ice cream in the area- all the flavors I've tried (salted caramel, cornflake maple, Dutch cookie) are delicious, as are the cones. Don't forget the pie!! Crust has perfect texture and flavors are so good!!

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Ugh. I love this place. Delicious artisinal pies, ice creams and other desserts. They're also open late, so that's a plus! They also have some cute merch available.
google avatar

Billy M.

Yelp
Dutch cookie Dutch cookie Dutch cookie! That was my flavor and I loved it. It reminded me of the cookie but also like butter scotch. And that is a good thing. The place is also quirky cool vibe. I was entertained by all the cool stuff inside. Also the pies are a must try! The strawberry mud pie was really stinking good. I'm glad we didn't buy a whole pie or I would of ate that thing in the first night. If you are in Healdsburg check this place out!

Yelp
Best ice cream in Santa Rosa hands down. Their homemade Oreo is so deliciously delectable! I can't get enough !

Yelp
We always enjoy visiting Noble Folk for ice cream after a meal in the neighborhood. They feature flavors from the basics to exotic. My favorite "go to" is coffee flavor but my wife tried the blood orange. We both enjoyed our choices on waffle cones. They also feature pies. My neighbor enjoys banana crème pie and I got one for them from Noble. When we went today I didn't see that flavor pie but there were many choices prepared for the fall season. I'm going to try the pumpkin cheesecake next time. The service is always friendly. We look forward to returning again:)

Yelp
Packed up the grandkids for an ice cream outing, paid for parking, arrived during business hours... And you guessed it! CLOSED!!
google avatar

Yelp
Mehhh.. had really high hopes for this place but was ultimately disappointed. Stopped by in the middle of a road trip where we were rushing for time. We confirmed and arrived during their business hours, but when we arrived the door was locked and nobody was there. We and a bunch of other confused and disappointed people ended up just standing outside waiting for half an hour before someone finally returned to open the shop back up. I get that workers need to use the bathroom or have other emergencies and such, but businesses need to honor their business hours out of respect and consideration to their customers.. Shouldn't you have more than one person working in order to account for scenarios like this? Anyways, the interior of the shop is nice and I like the decor and vibe. We got the triple berry pie ice cream, a seasonal flavor. Flavor-wise, it was decent and not overly sweet, however I hated the abundance of little tiny seeds. Dunno if they thought it added texture or what, but those little suckers get stuck in your teeth like no other and I just found it to be pretty unpleasant. Beyond that, the ice cream had crystallized and become icey as heck. Someone definitely let the whole tub melt and then refroze it, because the consistency was all messed up. They should've maintained better quality control and just tossed it after letting that happen.. you don't just serve your customers a knowingly ruined product.. I think this place has the potential to be good, and maybe we just had a one-off bad experience. But either way, we're not from the area so this was our one time chance to try this place out, and sadly the inconsistency of quality standards just didn't work out in our favor that day.

Yelp
Definitely will be coming back! Distinguish flavors and not average. Very friendly staff and sleek establishment. What did I order? Pistacio w/cherries combined with milke cornflakes and to top it off doughnuts and coffee. The flavors blew me away. Can't knock something you haven't tried so pay a visit to Noble Folk. Next time I was to try their pies.
google avatar

Joanna S.

Yelp
The ice cream was phenomenal! We had the homemade Oreo which was the best! Vegan chocolate - for the chocolate lover, this was a hit. I got pistachio cherry and passion fruit. All of them you could tell they used quality ingredients and it was very creamy. Definitely one of my favorite ice creams now! Great for after dinner. We went after Sushi Rosa and it was only a few doors down. One free sample per person.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped here for an afternoon treat. I ordered a warm slice of apple pie with cookies & cream ice cream on top. The pie was absolutely delicious. The combination of the pie and ice cream was exactly what I needed on this afternoon. My friend ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was standard, but good. My friend also ordered a chocolate chip cookie that was unfortunately kind of sad, as it was thinner than his preference. I would definitely come back for ice cream and pie though.
google avatar

Marisol N.

Yelp
Cute shop and so many great ice cream flavors. I picked the pistachio & cherry scoop which was so tasty.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
First time in the Santa Rosa store (previously always went to the Healdsburg one) and found this store offers a bit more variety. Ordered a split scoop that allow me to try both the black sesame and season flavor: Hojicha mochi. Both flavors are yum but Hojicha mochi stands out a bit more! Since it's seasonal, make sure you come during December to give it a try!

Yelp
The must have for gourmet ice cream. So thankful I stumbled upon this place and called to double check if they were open or closed as it stated closed but they have just recently adjusted their hours. About 16 varieties of gourmet ice cream. I went with the "flight" because I had to have (6) scoops to try a majority of flavors. My choices were matcha almond which was amazing, so not be frightened by the green color or matcha the ice cream is on another level. Thai tea - one of my favorite so had to have two, lucky charms ice cream whattttttt never even heard of anyone doing that and two scoops of pistachio cherry, wow soooo good. Inside is very nice, clean, modern. They also offer so very good looking pies, cookies, macarons.
google avatar

Becca B.

Yelp
This place is so good and everyone knows it! That's also it's biggest flaw, because everyone knows it's amazing, they sell out of their best flavors pretty early on weekends and hot days, so just know that if you're planning on stopping by after dinner they may already be out of what you want. It's happened to me a few times, my advice is eat dessert first! Their pies are always amazing, the cookies are exactly how I like them (not too crispy just the right amount of soft) and the ice cream is super creamy! Definitely a must have if you're down town and want a treat!
google avatar

Pam M.

Yelp
This little small shop has ice cream and pastries. I had the black sesame ice cream my son had the coffee and donuts ice cream my daughter in law had the Thai iced tea ice cream. They had a lot of unusual flavors. The ice cream was very good and creamy. I do wish they had samples but I understand why they do. There wasn't any seating so we went across the street to the Old Court House Square.
google avatar

Yelp
Whoever created the Lemon Lavender flavor deserves a raise. Pistachio berry could be better. Would recommend

Jessica P.

Yelp
This place has really spiraled. The customer service is not there, at all. No smile no welcome in no thank you nothing but next. And it wasn't busy. Seemed like we were an inconvenience for being there. And then we get our scoop and it's the smallest scoop I've ever seen or gotten there or anywhere else. (See pictures, we hadn't eaten any yet) As for the taste, it lacked, everything tasted pretty much the same. Very disappointing.
google avatar

Kat C.

Yelp
This is my second time trying this place and both times have been mediocre. Ice cream lacking in flavor. I got the pistachio cherry. Pistachio flavor was ok but the cherries mixed in tasted like ice, no flavor at all. Cupcakes are mediocre. Had the cherry almond. Cake had a weird, hard texture. Icing/frosting was just sugar, no flavor at all. The compote in the middle was watery so the cupcake was both hard and wet. The cupcakes I got last time had similar issues. I got the lemon with blackberry last time. Just sugar, and lacking in actual flavor.

Yelp
Darling shop with amazing pie - hubby had berry pie and I had chocolate walnut- both delicious!!! We both added ice cream- also delicious. The young lady who waited on us was sweet and helpful!!! A must visit if you're in Santa Rosa!!!

Yelp
NOT so Noble after all. I was grossly disappointed not only about the gross ice cream which tasted like medicinal gargle but about the snowflake at the counter who chose to butt himself into my conversation with my husband about the gross ice cream and tell me "he does not want to hear it, to NOT say it in front of him...". I don't know in what planet it is okay to say that to your customer but definitely not on this one. His intrusiveness was not only rude but also caused the place to loose customers as i simply looked at him, rolled my eyes, turned around and left but so did the 2 next customers behind me whom I think were as disgusted as I was with his millennial entitlement to attempt to quiet my freedom of speech in America. What is this ice cream joint? Communist Russia? I am still disturbed about the gross interaction.

Zeba H.

Yelp
The service was horrible. We went on Sunday during the heat wave, no one else was there. The woman scooping the ice cream was rude and annoyed because we wanted ice cream in an ice cream shop! Will not be visiting and she should seriously be fired for her horrible behavior towards customers.

Morgan E.

Yelp
The sampler! Was able to try 6 different flavors! This is such a cute place with unique ice cream flavors! My favorite was lucky charms!
google avatar

Vicki D.

Yelp
Ok this place is kinda ridiculous...lol. How can you limit your customers to only being allowed to taste only one flavor?????? It makes no sense to me at all. I really had high hopes for this place but couldn't really taste anything but my one flavor. Good thing I came with 3 other people who got three different flavors from me. I got the seasonal berry flavor ice cream and it was pretty good. My hubby tasted the pistachio cherry and unfortunately it tasted like a cherry's garcia. He was super sad about that because he loves pistachio ice cream and he said they butchered the pistachio taste, so he went for a blind order of just getting a salted caramel scoop lol & that was pretty safe taste. My daughter got a flavor and it was just ok. My son got a coffee flavor and that was pretty good. I just feel like for the price they are charging for their scoops, they should be letting us sample more than one flavor. It's ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that you can only sample ONE flavor!!! Bad business. I don't plan on coming back here. Not worth my $6 a scoop. I didn't even bother to take pics that's how irritated I was...lol.

Yelp
We hired Noble Folk for our wedding for mini desserts (assorted cupcakes & apple pie), our wedding cake and their ice cream cart. The desserts, especially the ice cream cart was one of the biggest hits of our wedding! A few guests even told us they went to the shop the next day to get ice cream again! Christian and his team were so easy and fun to work with. The cake tasting was also easy and efficient. I liked bringing it home so we could turn it into a fun night of tasting with our parents to rank our favorites. I was nervous the cake would just be for decoration, but our wedding cake was not only beautiful but delicious. Really no complaints for Noble Folk, thanks for making our special day so sweet! :)

Yelp
Best pistachio ice cream I've ever had! Vegan passion fruit is very good too. Great location. Friendly staff

Yelp
What do we do after stuffing ourselves with delicious sushi? Damnnnn skippy - we seek out ice cream! Peeked this pace out on Yelp, and made a beeline to it after lunch, and got here about 20 minutes before opening (1pm) which caught us off guard; we also then noticed they are closed Monday and Tuesday, so I guess it could have been worse! Having the menus in the window convinced us to hang around the plaza for a bit - they have many tasty and unique flavors! How could we pass this up, as we took the train here for the day and who knows when we may return? There are many ways to get your ice cream - scoops, cones - well, that should cover it. Except for having a piece of pie a la mode, but that IS another time! We got three single scoops - Swiss chocolate, coffee and "Oreo," and a large bowl (here goes my piggy spirit again!) with Thai iced tea, pistachio cherry and raspberry blood orange. The flavors were all amazing, and the chocolate and coffee were very strong on flavor! Nothing skimped on here. The coffee tasted like a Starbucks salted caramel frap . . . and it DID taste like coffee itself - great surprise! The Oreo was a hit, and my trifecta of tastiness (thank goodness they didn't have a FOUR scoop option, or I would have popped!) was an odd mix. They don't mix well, so I ate each in order! The Thai iced tea was my favorite, again full of deep flavor. The pistachio cherry to me was mostly cherry, which I love, but all those many chunks of cherry I think overpowered the pistachio flavor's nutty subtleness. And the raspberry blood orange was amazingly light and fruity - so it was overpowered by the other flavors, but thoroughly enjoyed on its own. This place is great for take-out (no dining in) and it is light, bright and well decorated. The big golden branch overhead is an interesting touch, but helps to ground the talllll ceiling. A map on the wall is a nice touch as well. The staff person this day was friendly and efficient - shout out to her! I also noticed they have pies - yeah, it's in the name, but still . . . - so I may order ahead when coming up again to try one. If it's even half as good as the ice cream, it will be a winner!

Yelp
Awesome variety of desserts! Macarons, specialty ice cream flavors, homemade oreos, ice cream cookie sandwiches, and cupcakes. Service was great. When I found out that the oreo cookie wasn't a cookie I could use to make an ice cream sandwich with, the nice lady threw on a scoop of ice cream on top of the oreo cookie and hooked it up! I gotta say, I am a oreo lover and I am glad I got that combo. Oreo dreams come true. I'm not even a dessert person. I don't get sweet cravings. But this was worth all the sugar. Definitely recommend. Great place to stop by after date night dinner!

Yelp
I really like this place, their flavors are different from the norm and it is a really cool building. We have been coming for years and will continue to come for their wonderful ice cream. I hit them a star for a couple of reasons. 1, attitude of the staff, it seems as if they are doing us a favor by just being there. It has a very elitist feel to it, much like a high end bike shop. It's an ice cream shop, there are tons of them around, we choose this one because of the unique flavors. But customer service, which is going away in the world, is still very important. The second hit is on cost vs portion size. For the price paid I would expect a bit more. Now I know this is a problem everywhere, but it is a bit on the high side compared to others. Yes, they are downtown, but Im not overly excited to go downtown given abundance of shady folks. We like this place, we will continue to go, but would like to see improvement in these areas.

Yelp
This is a great dessert place with ice cream, pies, and cupcakes. So far, we have only had several ice creams and one pie. These are overall very good or excellent but somewhat uneven. The one pie we had is the maple chocolate walnut pie. It is outstanding, with all elements coming togther nicely and a crust with nice texture, important in a pie. Ice cream we have had are Dutch cookie, a family favorite and outstanding, with a rich cookie character, appropriately sweet but not overly so, and outstanding rich, creamy texture. 5 stars. The coffee is similarly good, a slightly lighter texture, good coffee bite with just enough sweetness. 5 stars. The oreo cookie and black sesame are also very good, with nice texture and flavour, although the black sesame could use a touch more sesame taste and a touch less sweetness to make it perfect. 4 stars for both. The blood orange raspberry was also very good and surprisingly nice. 4 stars. The pistachio cherry was disappointing. The ice cream had mostly a very strong almond-extract flavour rather than pistachio, which was greatly disappointing. The cherries are maraschino cherries, which could be good since I like those, but they become rather icy and I'm not sure if I like that in the ice cream. 2.5 stars. We've had another ice cream or two which we found good but not outstanding. Unfortunately, those were a few months ago and I can't remember what they were. They were in the 3-to-3.5-star range. Service tends to be another downside. Usually, it is both rather unfriendly and unprofessional. They also never allow tastes of the ice cream, somehting that really bothers me. We recently have been told that it is because of covid, but it has always been that way every time I've been here. If it weren't for the negatives above, I'd probably give this place 5 stars, but I just can't quite do it.

Yelp
After a heavy meal of pizzas and sours at the Russian River Brewing Company, stroll through downtown Santa Rosa and find yourself in this airy, open and clean space with a small but thoughtful selection of sorbets and ice creams served by very helpful folks. I asked for and got a great recommendation for a split raspberry and passion fruit sorbet--perfect palette cleanser after a gut busting meal.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
First off, if it were socially acceptable, I'd smother myself in the mud pie and go to town! So damn good! My family was fighting over the slices! I'll be back and bringing my friends! Btw, I would have gone full fat guy and tried the maple, cornflake ice cream but I didn't have enough hands to hold it on my scooter...lol. Save me some

Lex R.

Yelp
Great taste and flavor, but very expensive for the amount they give you. 6 bux for a single split literally finished it in 4 full spoons. Comparing to other local ice ceeam shops price per product too expensive. Not sure if I would go back.
google avatar

Alisha S.

Yelp
I think I got the wrong flavor otherwise I would have enjoyed my ice cream much more. I tasted the horchata ice cream and it was really good, but I was in a more "basic" mood so I went with the vanilla bean in a waffle cone. This vanilla bean tasted really different to me than others, and I can't hit the spot on what it was. I do wish I went with the horchata though. The inside of the shop is so cute and their map on the wall of bakeries and shops in the area makes me want to have that on my wall!
google avatar

Miles K.

Yelp
Wonderfully inventive ice cream flavors, consistently creamy texture, and the ice cream isn't excessively sweet... which is something I regard as a characteristic of mediocre frozen desserts.
google avatar

Krista D.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this ice cream store as we are strolling around Santa Rosa Downtown. At first glance, we noticed that they have unique flavors compared to typical ice cream parlors. We want to do some samples but unfortunately, they don't do it currently because of covid. We asked for recommendations and we ended up getting 2 Scoops -- black sesame & pistachio cherry. It comes with 2 toppings and we picked rose petals and almonds. We really liked it!!! The flavors are so special and not too sweet that you would want to keep eating it.
google avatar

Jennifer F.

Yelp
A cute spot I found while I was walking in downtown Santa Rosa. They had a lot of different flavors with some seasonal ones as well. I ordered a scoop of lucky charms on a waffle cone and it was good, I feel like I would want a little bit more of the lucky charm flavor in the ice cream rather than it just having the toppings.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Food - 5 Service - 5 Value - 4 While my wife and I were in downtown Santa Rosa at a bookstore with my niece, I had a hankering for some ice cream and found this spot was just a half block down the street. When I asked my niece if she wanted to walk half a block to get some ice cream, she said that she didn't want any ice cream. I decided we'd all walk down to this place anyhow. When we arrived and looked at the menu, my niece quickly changed her mind and all 3 of us ended up ordering some ice cream. I do not recall the exact flavors we got, but I believe 2 of the flavors were black sesame and matcha/green tea. Both were quite good, and all 3 of us really enjoyed the ice cream on a hot June day!

Yelp
This is a wonderful ice cream place for a quick dessert! This place is located in downtown Santa Rosa and there is plenty of parking. This place is quite popular, so there is always a line. No samples (probably because COVID). What I got: -Pistachio Cherry: My favorite, it was super creamy and I love the dried cherries in this. It gave the ice cream a tart flavor. -Almond Matcha: This one was decent but I barely tasted the matcha. If you like strong flavors this one is for you. Overall a great ice cream place with unique flavors!
