A group of friends went to Nobo for restaurant week dinner and I was quite pleased! I’ve only been for a happy hour and coffee before. It was packed and they only offered the restaurant week menu as well as a wine pairing and cocktail menu. I had the arancini, pork belly and banana dessert. The arancini was massive, and the red sauce was great, but there could’ve been more flavor overall. The pork belly was fantastic with a hint of chili crisp and the rutabaga mascarpone purée was something I’ll crave! This place has so much potential and the space is great. I do hope to see their normal menu and to return as this was a great experience overall for restaurant week!

This is a really nice cafe in a new community-owned building. For families with young children, there were high chairs, changing tables (on the second floor), and surprisingly nice play areas. The food was reasonably priced for the quality, in our opinion. Veggie naan wrap, bahn mi, and lamb flatbread are all solid options. They also have ice cream, a bar, and coffee/tea, and they were showing a silent movie and Blue Planet on their TV's, which was a plus. Very pleasant experience, we hope to be back!

Barista was so incredibly friendly and her latte art was beautiful. Serene vibe, wi-if and plugs everywhere if you’re looking to get some work done while you’re here. Best hot chocolate I’ve had in a long time from a coffee shop!

Lovely coffee shop in Traverse City. I recently spent the morning working from here. Wifi was great, environment was great. I had a vanilla bean latte which was super tasty and a great breakfast sandwich from what I believe is the temporary kitchen setup (for another week(?) or so). Highly recommend! They also have their liquor license. A great spot to work or hang out.

This turned out to be a beautiful place! It’s tucked into the new building on 8th and there’s tons of space to get coffee or a meal. I got brunch and it was very salty but otherwise good. The coffee is from Higher Grounds so it’s of course great! They’ve got a lot of local food and drink, check them out! You can buy local art from local artists too!

Had coffee here a few times, and today they just started doing brunch. The brunch food is truly worth writing about, and the coffee is solid. The environment is modern, but warm, with a view of the river and a lot of effort & money put into creating a good atmosphere. Operationally, they still have kinks to work out. Compensating for this is an open and friendly staff, and given it's a co-op building, I've noticed that same attitude from patrons. They recently got their liquor license and will now be open in the evening - but I've yet to try it at night.

NoBo Mrkt is an awesome spot to meet friends, get some work done, or just hang out! It has a relaxing but trendy atmosphere with a lot of local art. The coffee was great and the breakfast menu had a lot of good options. They have a bar and plan to open for cocktails and dinner in the future. I’ll definitely be returning. Parking can be a challenge just like most things downtown, but there are multiple pay lots on 8th street which is very walkable,

Very cool and unique dining & social experience. The manager Sarah and her team do an exceptional job of making you feel comfortable, appreciated, and so welcome. It was so enjoyable, thank you!

Yelp
4 stars for my honey lavender latte made with house made syrup. They use Oatly oat milk which is my least favorite brand, but otherwise my drink was tasty. The avocado toast was inedible. The eggs were barely cooked. The greens were plain and undressed (bitter arugula). The tomatoes were soggy. The bread was thin and untoasted, so it got soggy really quickly. The avocado was a thin consistency (maybe packaged avo?), browning, and a super thin layer. They gave me a little side of fresh berries that seemed like they were packaged for a few days (strawberries a little sketch.) They were out of almond croissants and many other pastries (10a on a tues.) You order at the counter and they bring food to you. I found a paid parking spot in the lot right in front ($1.50/hr or so). There are lots of cute seating areas so this space would have potential if they fix the food situation. The pictures on their Instagram made it look much tastier than it was :/

Yelp
Food- I have only had coffee and pastry. Today, I ordered affogato and a plain croissant. The lady running the register was super helpful and nice. She was just figuring out where everything was on the pos, she said, "I'm usually the bartender." Beautiful views of the Boardman River

Yelp
A wonderful addition to the Boardman area! We went for their grand opening where they generously gave out free coffee and pastries. The coffee was fantastic. It's a cool building with great decor and lots of seating. Looking forward to trying their food or a cocktail next time we visit.

Yelp
Very good coffee and cap. Great place to sit, to meet up, or to work. Located on 8th street, walking distance from most of traverse city.
