Nobu offers an exquisite dining experience that is nothing short of spectacular! The presentation of each dish is a work of art, showcasing the beauty of the ingredients. Every bite bursts with flavor, perfectly blending traditional Japanese techniques with innovative culinary flair. It's truly fine dining at its best, where each course not only delights the palate but also pleases the eyes. A memorable experience that showcases the artistry of food!

Went for brunch and for all the hype Nobu gets it was a bit disappointing although we understand this wasn’t Nobu at its best and hopefully next time will be better. And the fish meal although good was served cold service was great though

Best Japanese Peruvian in HK Indulge in an exquisite Japanese Peruvian food nestled in the five star hotel with astonishing Victoria Harbour view. From the refreshing, uplifting taste of the sashimi santen mori to the must try crispy rice minced tuna, every bite is a delight. We couldn’t resist to upgrade our sushi selections to the premium version and it’s worth it! The spinach is not just an ordinary spinach. It’s a burst of freshness with unique flavours from the dry miso. The inawa soba with tempura is so smooth and silky, the broth is so clean and comforting. The tempura is fried to perfection. For dessert, don’t miss the bento box which is a chocolate lava cake with green tea ice cream. The Nobu cheesecake is a new sensation to us. It’s mind blowing! Refreshing mango, with sesame paste in the middle and green curry ice cream! Yes, you read that right! It’s green curry and it’s amazing! We also add on some uni avocado tacos. It’s so creamy and it’s a must try! They are now available in Dining City so make sure to check it out before it’s too late! A huge shoutout to Nobu’s team for the excellent service. Special thanks to Ceci for her thoughtful recommendation and making sure that we enjoyed the night. To Nelly who patiently explaining the dishes and how to enjoy them. The night would not be perfect without drinks. We also would like to thank Yuya-san for the sake pairing recommendations and the nonalcoholic drinks.

The food was absolutely delightful! We especially loved the crispy rice cube with spicy tuna—it was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, making us want to order it again! The Umami Chilean Sea Bass was tasty too, though we found the Chinese translation a bit puzzling since it mentioned vegetables, but we couldn't find any on the plate. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. When we had a little mix-up with our order, one of the managers kindly offered for us to try the dish first, and if it was too spicy, he would happily swap it out for us. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness; I just wish I had caught his name to give him a shout-out! We were seated at a table in the second row, but we had a perfect view of the lovely harbor. Everything was just wonderful—great food, amazing vibes, and fantastic service. This was my second visit, and I'm already looking forward to coming back!

Google
Its my second time at Nobu and I cant wait to go back again. My favourite thing is definitely the beautiful views and the service and also the Black Miso Cod. Also cant forget the famous crispy rice and tuna. Nobu is a perfect date spot with the best views of HK. The green curry ice cream is also so refreshing!

Went on a Thursday night, with Nobu himself in town. Layout of the restaurant is the same as it was during Intercontinental. Staff were very attentive, well mannered, and friendly. Food was good, especially the scallops and some of the sashimi. Mains were well cooked, and very good. Taste pallets obviously catered to a more western standard than otherwise traditional Japanese restaurants. My issue is that the pace of the food was extremely fast. We finished out dish, and within literally 15 seconds, or next course came. Next table had the same comments. Whether this was a server/kitchen timing, we're not sure, but the entire dining experience felt unnecessarily rushed. Overall experience was good, and would recommend for a nice dinner out. Just don't expect a quiet and slow dining experience.

Google
Food and atmosphere were nice … the portions however were relatively small and not very filling 😅 I can still fit a cup noddle after the meal (mind you I am not a very big eater, you will know what I mean when you see the photos) Btw.. what you saw was for 3 adults 😅 we ordered the same desserts so I only took one photo of it. There’s basically no carbs if you don’t order the sushi

Yelp
This is probably the nicest nobu in the world as it sits inside the intercontinental hotel facing the harbor. I was staying at the hotel and getting reservations on a weekday was quite easy. The view is absolutely stunning and the food is exquisite. Service was impeccable and it is a very classy joint. My uncle ordered the 8 course meal and every sushi was like a art piece. I stuck to rolls and a octopus dish with veggies.

Yelp
With a 30%discount on a la carte, so went wild ordering, forget bout the set menu! Amazing view but despite asking for window seat when booking as it's our 15th wedding anniversary, instead we go a corner seat close to the toilet ... slightly disappointing but kept positive that we are getting 30% off!! Food did not disappoint at all, amazing flavor and texture... I'm sure there are lots of review on the food. Waiter was casual and friendly, we just order a beer and cocktails, sake would be nice but then I fail to justify high price for good sake ... I love sake but not at crazy price. Love to come back one day!!

Yelp
I was staying at the Intercontinental and decided to come down and check out their happy hour specials on offer from 6-8pm. It seemed like not everyone knew about it, because they had to check if it was happening and gave me the wrong menu. I started with the Tonimomo which was very good and then the Matsuei Sour, which was more sweet than sour. I also tried the grilled shishito peppers and the sashimi tacos. The grilled peppers were fantastic, the tacos were okay. The menu is very limited and a little pricey for what you get. Honestly, come for dinner but do happy hour in the hotel lobby. It's at the same time and the menu is much larger and everything is at the same price point.

Yelp
Sushi was average here, not worth the price. But worth the view and atmosphere. Great for special occasions and great service! The shrimp in the mayo like sauce is highly recommended as the portion is big and tastes great! However, if looking for a sushi restaurant on a budget, this is definitely not the place!

Yelp
Honestly I have been to the Nobu's in California many times... and I'm very surprised that the Nobu in HONG KONG wins my foodie heart! I love love love the option of not having to have the whole table order omakase. In the states, they require the whole table to order omakase as their policy.... In Hong Kong, since I was dinning with my mom and her friend- they did not want to order omakase since they have already ate before so they did the ala carte. I ordered their spring omakase and it was plenty of food. It was an 8-course meal starting with their seasonal sashimi (which was very fresh), assorted nigiri, some hot dishes and ended with a delicate dessert. My whole experience here at Nobu was excellence both in service and food quality. I am glad I tried the Nobu here :)

Yelp
I've been wanting to try a Nobu for ages and conveniently, during my stay in HK, I was able to try one just down the road from where I lived. Situated at Intercontinental, this restaurant provides you with a breathtaking view while you dine. I made the reservations a couple weeks in advanced mainly for the reason that I wanted to get organized while travelling. Pretentiously, I pulled my "Dr." card out hoping they'd give me a good view of the restaurant because I read on previous Yelp reviews that it was hard to get and knowing how superficial HK can be sometimes on their professional statuses, I decided to try my luck. Mind you...I would never do that here back at home but you know...what the heck. As luck had it, we were seated in the most beautiful spot in the whole restaurant. We were right by the window and it overlooked the whole harbour while we dined. We decided to go for the full omakase and ordered a bottle of sake to go with our food as well. Service wise, it was fantastic. Our server even asked us if the pace was okay. Ambiance wise...well, we were seated in the best spot, so we could not have possibly asked for more. Food wise...well it was delicious but it just didn't really blow our minds. (See my review on Alo). The flavours were definitely there but nothing danced in my mouth. I love that dance in your mouth sensation and for a place like the caliber of Nobu, I was hoping it would. Overall, our meal was extremely expensive ~$800 CAD in total and although the food was great, I thought I was paying more for the view. In a couple weeks, I will be going to Kaiseki Hashimoto...so I will tell you what $800 here will get you!

Yelp
My husband and I love the nobu in NY so we had to try this one. We got popcorn shrimp, toro tartar, wagyu tataki, crispy rice with spicy tuna, and toro sushi. The only thing that we didn't care for was the toro sushi. It was very fatty and hard to chew, which you wouldn't expect from toro. I would order everything else again.

Yelp
I know the quality is usually high, but the day after I felt very sick, I'm sorry guys but this is the true. Maybe I was unlucky, but this is what happened to me. Quite slow service.

Yelp
Executive Summary: Famous Nobu Restaurant Chain offering superior quality with stunning views of the Hong Kong harbour. Value (Price/Quality): Good - price is expensive, taste is outstanding. Customer Service: Good - the host/hostess will walk you to the table and greet you, the servers will ask questions and make great recommendations and are not presumptuous. Service charge (tip) automatically included. You'll like this place if: You've been to Nobu before, love quality Japanese food, want a special dining experience, or great lunch specials to escape away from the office. Don't go here if: If you like the Japanese fast food chains in the city. Transportation: TST Subway station with underground access or take a taxi. Tip: Offers superior lunch specials! First time trying a lunch here and loved it. Dinner is same global experience anywhere else. The Good, Bad and Ugly Details: Evenings get really booked up! Although the quality and taste is outstanding, you will need to order multiple dishes to feel full. Expect around $100 USD ($780 HKD) per person minimum. Yelp Customer Bottom Line: If don't think you will ever come here, save up for that special occasion! If you are a serious foodie and want to see what the fuss is all about, then do a tasting menu and go all out! I on the other hand, come weekly when I work in Hong Kong so I can enjoy the experience in bite sizes. Business Opportunity: Redesign the space to have special dining booths for a more private and intimate experience.

Yelp
Overpriced delicious cuisine with fantastic views of the harbor from the second floor of the Intercontinental Hotel in Hong Kong. We dined at Nobu late December 2015 with a 10 PM reservation during a quick layover in Hong Kong. The restaurant is on the second floor of the Intercontinental Hotel and overlooks the harbor. I emailed several months in advance requesting a window side table for our party of four and while I was never given a guarantee, we were seated near the window upon arrival. Service began attentive. While I get the mystique of the Nobu name, I personally thought the dishes were priced extremely high for the portions provided. That is not to say each dish was not full of flavor and amazing, not that I felt I over payed for the meal. Dishes are served tapas style. We ordered four dishes and found this adequate both for the amount of money we wanted to spend and food we wanted to eat at 10 PM. We began with yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño which is an absolute must try. The flavor was fantastic, providing a nice little kick from the jalapeño. Next was thinly sliced scallops that were recommended by our waiter. While not an over the top experience, this was an excellent dish for any scallop lover. Third was the house maki rolled which was enjoyed by the entire table. Finally, and the reason I would highly recommend this restaurant, was the black cod. This dish was simply amazing and one of the best seafood dishes I have ever tried. The meat flaked off perfectly and was full of flavor, I would not dine at this restaurant without ordering this house speciality. The hype is real! Overall, Nobu as a fantastic dining experience, albeit more than I would be willing to spend on a monthly or even bi annul basis. I just do not think the prices commensurate with the amount of food provided. However, I am hesitant to remove a star for this flaw as the food was fantastic, the service fantastic, ambiance fantastic, and overall dining experience wonderful.

Yelp
Our son in law travels to Hong Kong on business often and recommended Nobu. We stayed at the Intercontinental, so a light meal at the bar was the perfect choice after 24 hours of travel. We ate here two nights later when a long day sightseeing left us feeling why leave the hotel when we can go here.

Yelp
I have been to Nobu restaurants all over the world and this one is definitely one of the best, even though I rank it behind their NYC and LA properties...It is in Kowloon so you have wonderful views of HK island and the menu is as consistently good as the locations in the U.S. You should definitely get the miso cod among other staples like the Rock Shrimp Tempura and the Lobster Tempura!

Yelp
We came to Nobu for the afternoon tea set. It was totally worth the trek!! Since we had four people, we ordered two of the "simply t-set" for 2. The set was amazing! I'll try my best to recall what we had - drinks we ordered: - nofe: omg this was my favorite! it's like a japanese version of yuanyang, coffee mixed with matcha tea. SOO good!! - cocoa matcha: matcha tea with chocolate syrup, not overpowering, pretty good - matcha cappuccino: a good choice if you want something warm (also available cold) - strawberry matcha: good option as well if you want something sort of fruity SAVORY - tofu roll with lobster and cream cheese: this was alright, a good starter to the set i suppose - squid ink tamagoyaki: inside was daikon and egg. this was perfect! usually tamago is too sweet but this one was just right - salmon jerky: a seafood version of beef jerky, tough but not teeth breaking tough. yum - japanese donut with liver pate: more of a cake donut, this was alright (i'm not a huge cake donut person i guess) SWEET - chestnut cheesecake: less of a cheese taste and not too sweet. good with the chestnut paste, topped with a piece of chestnut and gold flake - berry jelly on top of soy bean jelly: interesting and not overly sweet. this was one of my brother's favorites as he devoured 3/4 of them - plum with some yuzu-ish cream inside: this was all of our least favorite as we are not huge plum/sour fans - matcha red bean tiramisu: amazing!! it has the similarities of tiramisu with a cream top that was layered with matcha sauce, then a layer of crunchy pocky (to replace the lady fingers in a normal tiramisu) and topped (or rather bottomed) with red beans. this was my favorite of all the dishes! BREAD - sesame waffle: a good fluffy waffle that goes really well the sauces (dark chocolate syrup was our preference over the pineapple jam) - scone: paired with honey butter, my sister liked this but i felt its consistency was relatively similar to the donut we had earlier overall, i would say this is an amazing and unique tea set that you can share. it comes with a good amount and even with it all devoured, you're not overly stuffed but pretty full. and this is coming from a family that didn't have lunch before coming here and we were pretty starving. definitely come by for this afternoon tea! they also have a more traditional tea set downstairs in the intercontinental for those wishing for that as well!

Yelp
I would expect superior service so this rating is for service only. On a slow weeknight as a solo diner ordered about 40 min ago without a check in. I only ordered a salad and 2 veg rolls. Disappointed and wished I would have dined elsewhere. Solo diner discrimination. 2 couples sat 20 min after me and received their first dishes. Not worth the price tag !

Yelp
Not only the view of Hong Kong island but the food make this a great spot. Had a selection of want and cold dishes ranging from cod (best dish!), yellowtail, chicken to rock shrimp. Can't really go wrong here. Worth a visit.

North K.

Yelp
Nobu was disappointing. We have been to several, including recently in downtown NYC. Service here was so-so. Not very attentive. Food was good but not what we think of as Nobu quality, especially the signature halapeno yellowtail, and the fatty tuna was stale tasting. View is great but overall ambiance meh. This visit was during the October long weekend and protests, maybe that affected quality. I would not return, would try Rech instead. Very odd since I think Nobu Matsuhisa was here recently. In any event, though not inexpensive, it was less disappointing than Lung King Heen.
google avatar

Yelp
Not impressed. Nobu Las Vegas much nicer to Americans. Had to move from lounge to dining room to get attention for food service. Ignored pretty much throughout the meal and served suspect wine. Wasn't properly offered dessert or any other offerings. Was only told about last call for food or beverages at 11p and given a bill that seemed very inflated. Traveling alone in Hong Kong not so friendly.
google avatar

Dustin L.

Yelp
Went to dinner with a friend and had the set dinner menu with a bottle of white wine. We started at the bar and ordered from the great selection of Japanese whisky's. The set menu was great and tasty. Barely a complaint from my myself or my dinner partner. Can't fault the magnificent view of Hong Kong Island. Tables were spaced far enough apart to have a private conversation. Not somewhere you go often but definitely a place to experience.
google avatar

Philip C.

Yelp
My bad luck with upscale restaurants in HK continues to a set lunch at Nobu, where the setting is posh and dishes are pretty. I wasn't a fan of the Japanese tapas as they were one note and uninteresting. If I hadn't agreed to meet a friend there, I would've headed down to one of the tea houses off Nathan Road for more tasty fare.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
Seriously you can't get better than Nobu... Ever. Crispy rice, black cod are my favorites. The Only thing is.. As expensive as Nobu is normally, this particular location is even higher priced. The view from the restaurant looks like it is straight out of s film. I don't know if you can beT the quality food and this view,
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Upscale Japanese cuisine , great environment, look directly to the Harbour when you outside the restaurant. Nice view and good food .

Dave S.

Yelp
Terrible service, mediocre food. The fact that it was expensive was not surprising. But it just wasn't worth it. I had to go to the host's stand to get menus and flag down a manager several times to find the waiter and get our food and drinks brought to the table. When asked to describe a few of the dishes in more detail, the waiter was unable to go beyond what was in the menu; also not helpful with recommendations. Food was thoroughly mediocre. The "Nobu Fish and Chips" was a few fishsticks that tasted of freezer burn and slightly-undercooked potato wedges. Sashimi was fine but rolls were very mediocre. Again, the prices were not surprising, but the relative value of the food and service was surprisingly poor. Would not eat there again.
google avatar

Hazel Y.

Yelp
Highly recommend the lunch bento box set! It's a very good deal to taste the signature dishes.

Sandra H.

Yelp
A complete sub par experience. Nobu is known globally and if you come here you know to expect the menu to be pricey so with that it is expected that you will receive in both service and food quality what you pay for. The restaurant itself is outdated, the windows are dirty so you can't truly enjoy the view of the skyline and the black cod which I usually enjoy was rough and not the same as other Nobu locations. Service was all over the place as we never truly knew who our server was and we felt rushed. With that said we had the tasting menu for our entire table and left absolutely disappointed. Will probably not be returning to another Nobu after this experience. There is by far much better food in the city to eat so don't waste your money here. You get neither food quality or dining experience by coming here.
google avatar

Susie E.

Yelp
Excellent as always, no matter where in the word you are! Incredible waitstaff. This is one pricey resto for which I am willing to shell out the bigger bucks.

Syd H.

Yelp
Fairly disappointing. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately both the fish and the presentation was lacking. Lots of variety but the quality just wasn't there. In the end it felt quite overpriced. I have been to several Nobu and this is definitely beneath standard. Great views of Hong Kong though.
