Stopped by this spot for happy hour, and while there were some things I really liked, there were also a few areas that could definitely use improvement.
To start with, it took quite a while for our server to come by and greet us. We sat for a bit longer than expected before anyone came to take our order. It almost felt like they forgot about our table at first, which wasn't the best way to kick off the experience. That said, once we did get our order in, they were accommodating and still allowed us to get in two rounds of happy hour orders, even though the timing was cutting it close--so props to them for that flexibility.
The food itself was quite good--everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and nicely plated. Definitely no complaints on the taste or quality. However, the wait time for the food was on the longer side. We even had to remind our server that a few dishes hadn't come out yet, which made the whole process feel a bit drawn out. Because of the delay, we ended up hesitating to order more happy hour items since we weren't sure how long it would take, and didn't want to end up over-ordering or waiting too long again.
As for pricing, outside of happy hour, it's definitely at typical sushi bar price points--not outrageous, but definitely not cheap. If you're watching your budget, I'd highly recommend sticking to the happy hour menu. Otherwise, it might not be the most wallet-friendly option.
The interior, though, is a highlight. The space is bright and airy with lots of glass, which makes it feel open and not cramped at all. We were seated right by the front door, which was fine, and the overall ambiance was clean and modern. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming, which added a nice touch to the experience.
Overall, this place has potential. The food is good and the space is comfortable, but the service could use some fine-tuning, especially during busy hours. I might give it another try--hopefully next time the pacing will be a bit smoother!
