Nobu Hotel Marrakech, an SLH Hotel

Perfect location, perfect service and food. We made a reservation for a dinner @ The Rooftop Garden Nobu. We got a table with a lounge swing, which was fun. Food was fantastic en Cocktails are the best I had. Not cheap, but definitely a perfect special night out!

We had a family holiday at the Nobu Hotel in Marrakech over Christmas and New Year 2024 - 2025. We chose the Nobu due to its excellent reputation in hospitality. The Nobu restaurants are fantastic, albeit an expensive experience. The Nobu brand are most definitely not hoteliers, well not yet anyway. The lobby, the dining areas and the lounge bar are all 5 Star. However, the hotel rooms, the service, the room service, the management, and the house keeping are all very much 4 Star, and not a very good 4 star at that. Our room was described as a Junior Suite, it wasn’t, it’s a standard room that’s in dire need of decorating and updating. The rooms feel very tired, the carpets have seen better days and the bathrooms need to be ripped out and started again. Another thing to be aware of is that it’s a party hotel, not a family hotel and not a destination for anyone looking to chill out or relax. We had to complain more than once about the volume of the music they insist on piping through the corridors. They seem to cater more for the local trade visiting the restaurant and the roof terrace, the hotel felt like bit of an afterthought. We like Marrakech but we would never recommend or stay at the Nobu Hotel again. I travel a great deal with my work, sometimes twenty to thirty hotels each year, my review is based on experience.

We did two things here. Had dinner twice on the rooftop. This was our favorite place during our trip. We also had the spa treatment. My wife and I decided it was the best massage we had ever had. The masseuse was extremely intuitive. We're planning on staying here next trip.

They could not have been more accommodating and the service was impeccable. Dinner in the Nobu restaurant was delicious - black cod was a dish I had been wanting to try for years and it did not disappoint. We also had a meal in the rooftop restaurant which offers a more relaxed scene. Service around the pool on the rooftop is perfect and couldn't be more helpful. They offer a great in-house taxi service if needed. Lovely decor but service is just about as good as I have experienced anywhere. A brilliant hotel.

Rooftop Gardens food was outstanding, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Each dish was expertly crafted, making every bite a delightful experience. The drinks were equally impressive, offering a refreshing selection that perfectly complemented the meal. The entertainment was a highlight of the night, providing a vibrant atmosphere filled with fun and engaging performances. It kept everyone entertained and added to the lively ambiance. The service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. When the temperature dropped, they promptly offered us warm blankets, making us feel valued and cared for throughout our visit.

We spent 3 nights in a junior suite as part of a longer stay in Marrakech. The room was spacious, but felt a bit more dated and worn out than what we expected from the pictures. The gym and spa area was a huge bonus. The gym was spacious with a wide range of equipment and several different zones. The food & beverage service was quite slow both for room service and at the rooftop restaurant, but the front desk was very attentive and offered great service. The breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was good, but the food at the rooftop restaurant was quite average and not what you would expect from a Nobu restaurant. The drinks at the rooftop were not good, but this seemed to be a general issue everywhere we went in Marrakech. The rooftop terrace is worth a visit to the hotel on it's own with a great pool area and 360 views of the city. Room: 4 Restaurants: 4 Gym: 5 Service: 5 Location: 4

🏆TOP TIP: Make a reservation on weekends! With good traditional and contemporary cocktails and amazing views, Nobu’s rooftop has created a new fun vibe for Marrakech. Rising in the glass elevator to the left of the main hotel entrance, the stunning city views and poolside cabanas and sofas offer guests to relax and enjoy the sun or stars while listening to the DJs hypnotic African electronic beats… A must do while in the city - day or evening and small and bigger bites to eat too… a big yes! hiddenmarrakech

We had a fantastic evening on the rooftop bar. The service and atmosphere were excellent and we enjoyed some lovely food and drinks watching the sunset then the unexpected show. Thank you and hope to see you again.
