I have always wanted to visit this particular restaurant. I booked to eat alone, since I visited Milan for business. When I arrived at the restaurant, upon entering I knew that things were not going to be good. Fake smiles and fake greetings. They told me that since I was alone I should sit at the bar. If I had known, I would not have gone. I asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail, it was awful and full of ice. There was a terrible taste at the bottom of the glass. I ate the most awful tofu, without any seasoning and without salt. A broccoli salad, I make it better, asparagus fried and served on a napkin with oil stains., their best food was sushi, really quality ingredients, but here too there was a problem. It was served in small glasses and it was impossible to eat it from there, even if you were Japanese. The best thing on the menu was the soy sauce. But 99 euros to eat the best soy sauce. No. Never again. I was so annoyed with everyone and everything that I didn't leave even a 1 euro tip. In short, a restaurant for the nouveau riche and the petty bourgeoisie.

Amazing experience, staff was sooooo nice and accommodating food was perfect. Me and my wife work very hard for our money we are not rich (not saying that rich people don’t work hard) so was really a special evening for us. Everything was above and beyond. Would 100% recommend.

Had a great experience at Nobu Milano – the place definitely lives up to its reputation. The sushi is incredibly fresh, with top-quality ingredients that really stand out. A must-try is the oyster selection with five different sauces – each one brings a unique twist and it’s a fun way to start the meal. The ambiance is stylish and relaxed, with a great atmosphere and just the right amount of space between tables so you don’t feel crowded. The staff is super hospitable and attentive, which made the evening even better. Only downside for me was the tiramisu – it’s a modern take on the classic dessert, but personally, I didn’t love it. If you’re expecting the traditional version, this one might not hit the mark. Overall, though, definitely worth a visit – especially if you’re into fresh sushi and a vibrant yet elegant vibe.

I’ve been coming to Nobu at Armani Hotel Milano for lunch for the past 6 years — it’s part of my Milan routine. I always order the Tuna Avocado Roll, rice outside, light on the rice. When I’m extra hungry or have time, I add the spicy Wagyu Ravioli (don’t remember the exact name) — rich, flavorful, and worth it. My favorite table is by the window. Elegant, calm atmosphere and impeccable service. Alberto, the manager, is always professional, attentive, and discreet. Just a note: as in any big city, be mindful of your personal items — even in beautiful Milan. A timeless classic I always return to.

Had an amazing dining experience at Nobu Milano! Everything from the mezo soup, California sushi, spicy crab rolls, salmon nigiri, tempura, and wagyu tacos and dumplings to the tiramisu, chocolate fondant, and refreshing Lichi juice was simply outstanding. A big thank you to Marco, Federico, and Alonso your warm smiles and excellent service made me feel truly welcomed. Visiting all the way from the UAE, and I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip!

Great food although pricey but still cheaper than US versions. Friendly service. Could be faster.

Nobu is consistently delivering great food, atmosphere and service . The only thing is we on purpose went on the day the dj was playing , but dj was not different at all from usual music.

Yelp
Nice memories with fanatics environment in Milano, handsome guys and pretty girls so wonderful to be there for year-end festival!

Yelp
Came here for dinner while in Milan. I've been to several other Nobu's before in the US and I think they were a bit better than this location. The decor here is nice and it has two levels so there was space for us at the sushi bar even though we were walk ins. However, once we were seated we didnt really get attentive service. My glass a water was sometimes empty because the server didnt check on us much. Also, I wanted to order more food but was unable to because, again, our server was not attentive. I would try this place again but I might get a reservation with the hope of having better service at a table.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with Nobu and this location is no different. The atmosphere and service are what you have come to expect from Nobu--friendly, accommodating, intimate, and professional. The specials at this location were particularly good and we were glad we try some things we hadn't previously had at Nobu. Everything tasted great.

Yelp
This place was amazing! The food, the atmosphere, but more so the bartending staff. They took care of us and went above and beyond to make our friends birthday an even more special one. We walked in and didn't have a reservation, we just sat at the bar, but even then that was 5-star service.

Yelp
Been to Nobu in Vegas, London, Malibu, Newport Beach etc etc etc. and now we ad Milan to our list. In true Nobu style the venu was modern and sexy. Lots of reds and glossy woods. They sat us immediately. Service was great. The food was fantastic. I tried an Italian beer, ( see the pictures ), it was very good. Also drank a saki that was very very good. I usually eat sashimi no rice. I ordered a bunch. Cuts were big. Very fresh. The rest of our menu was fantastic as well. Right down to the mochi. We stayed at the Mandarin oriental and Nobu is a 5 minute walk. Nobu Milan in the Armani hotel is a must visit.

Yelp
The worst service ever first we weee ignored The when the first plate came and we didn't even have time to finish and the next plate. Arrived and so on, Crab tempura you could get in any chip shop . NOBU Ibiza wow NOBU MILAN NEVER AGAIN

Angel M.

Yelp
As sushi places go, it's one of the better ones in the city. The downstairs area allows smoking which is awful so those who care about the taste of their food will sit upstairs instead. yellow tail jalapeño is a staple, of course

Yelp
Saturday night. Place was full. But it felt intimate and surprising not noisy. Food is excellent and beautiful.

Yelp
Our first Nobu experience was at Nobu Ibiza which was incredible. We went to Monza for the F1 and wanted to eat at Nobu to able to experience that again. Unfortunately, Nobu Milano was not up to the standards of Nobu. The service to very fast and felt very rushed even though the restaurant was empty. We hardly finished one plate and the other one was there already. We couldn't enjoy the food as much as we wanted because it was so rushed. The food itself was lovely besides the fried crab which was left in a big lump and still have bone in it. The preparation, like the service, felt and looked rushed. The dessert was flawless and the waygu ravioli was impeccable. But overall we were just disappointed and the whole experience felt very much rushed. I'm just upset at the difference in quality between this one and the Nobu in Ibiza

Yelp
We have been to nobu all around the world. We know what you are going to get. Consistent quality throughout, with nobu Malibu step ahead than most. We dropped in Armani nobu in Milan last night, we are seated upstairs which seemed to be mixed of Italian new ideas with nobu stables. I think downstairs maybe more standards nobu menu but not certain. Then we ordered yellowtail jalopeno, ravioli with wagu beef, red snapper special sashimi and shrimp and king crab salad and eggplant tempura. With then ordered bunch of sushi to follow. Appetizers are fine but Italian influences didn't add too much to the mix. Sushi all ok but they didn't give me the head of sweat shrimp and didn't have spicy tuna on crispy rice which was apparently available downstairs. All in all, pleasant experience but nobu Malibu can rest easy on his laurels.

Yelp
Nobu is my favorite Japanese Restaurant of all time. I've eaten at the one in Honolulu and Las Vegas. Always holding up their reputation is also this Nobu in the Armani Hotel, Milano. Waited at the bar downstairs for our table and boy what a scene that was!!! Beautiful and well dressed people everywhere!! Models to the left and to the right! It was definitely THE IN place to be on a Sat night! Although smoking is allowed at the bar so it was a bit smoky! Got seated and of course ordered the Miso Black Cod. Always fabulous!! Cooked perfectly! That is always the highlight. Another one of my favs is the Yellowtail Japaleno. I could eat 10 orders of this!!! My fav out of all restaurants who try to copy this beautiful Peruvian/Japanese dish. ;) I just love Italy and that all their water is served out of glass containers not plastic. Armani has his own water bottle- Aqua Armani. Haha. Finished with the Chocolate molten dessert but got vanilla ice cream. It was what's expected.

Yelp
If not for the price, I would go to Nobu on a daily basis for the lunch box. This bento is well balanced, includes a good range of Japanese specialties and is very cute and elegant esthetically. Let alone the chocolate bento box with the matcha ice cream, incredibly buuuuuooooono One of the rare places in Milan where the sushi chef is not Chinese :p

Yelp
Very good restaurant that keeps up with quality ingredients. The omikase is usually what i order.... Believe Nobu Dubai is better despite its the same chain.

Yelp
Well we went for lunch. I've been to many nobu before: Malibu, ny, Miami... service was "OK" which is not ok for a NOBU. I had my son with me and was very disappointed they didn't had a high chair for him. Apparently is a "NO KIDS" restaurant. meal was good, but service could be better
google avatar

Yelp
Nobu is always on our dining list specially when traveling abroad. Decor couldn't be more beautiful with that Italian design and flare! Bravo! The only down side is always $$$$$
google avatar

Yulia M.

Yelp
Was disappointed. Not like typical nobu restaurant. Menu was different, simpler. Stuff wasn't helpful. Food was ok. I ate on first floor as second was under reconstruction. If you go there, ask for second floor. That is should be real nobu. Nobu in Monaco, Paris or Miami are much better.

Yelp
Got the squid pasta and it was a bit too salty. Other dishes we got were pretty nice but a bit overpriced

Yelp
My husband took me here for my last night in Italy. WOW! I wanted to go to the one in Malibu since we had been there in December, so he made up for it this trip. I could not have been more impressed. We split everything. We had the lobster tacos and the wagyu beef. They are bite size, but that does not make them less delicious! We both agreed that the raw wagyu beef taco tasted best over the cooked one. We also had the beef skewers and chicken skewers. Exactly how they sound, but the sauces elevated them into something amazing. Finally, we had several hand rolls of sushi. The quality of the simple rolls was noticeable and appreciated. Service was amazing, like expected. I will definitely try to eat at all of the Nobu's locations!

Yelp
Last week I went to eat Nobu with the family. Decided to eat fancy Japanese foods and dinner. My father ordered the dishes and I ordered myself the starter and the dessert. Overall dishes were all delicious.

Yelp
It is a chic-new restaurante in the heart of Milan. It was crowded but the attention was fantastic. The food was very creative in the taste & the presentation as well. The tables are close to each other and it is a bit noisy, but, I would recommend you to try it anyways!

Yelp
While vacationing in Milan to see family I wanted to really experience the culture and night life of Milan. While sitting at our hotel bar , we overheard a couple speaking highly of Nobu. In turn, we highly anticipated our new reservation. We were very impressed. The food was decadent , the staff very friendly and spoke english. The price is high but well worth the experience and service. Dress to impress , only the best eat at Nobu.

Yelp
Come dice Madonna: "You can tell how much fun a city is going to be if Nobu has a restaurant in it."

Yelp
Perfect sushi staple! Reliable place to go to! Love the rolls and tartare. Must have is the miso cod and bento box dessert (chocolate cake with ice cream!) Big seating area but definitely make a reservation. There is a smoking section and non smoking section which is great.

Yelp
Guys, If you are in love with Agriturismo and Bed&Breakfast, dislike anything upscale and would scratch a Porsche with a key If it wouldn't be against the law, hate fashon, Madison Avenue and luxury hotels "just because"...oh well, don't even step there! Nobu loves his little circle of snob people but loves also anybody else. There are places that are much "worse". Nobody looks at you from the top, everybody looks at you though but that's Italy. Here you are not invisible, here you'll be sure your dress and fitness level will be noted; but again, this is Milan, this is Italy, this is not Nobu. Take it the fun way: you'll be never bored of people watching here! Nobu has very good sushi, delicious soups and at least you are guaranteed you will be able to eat raw fish without spending the night on the toilet. The barman used to be very good and able to make delicious Cosmos. But employees change, who knows who is this one. My random vodka gimlet was very good though. Don't go there and spit in the plate you are eating. What would you expect? That's Nobu, If you don't like it find an alternative place. Love&Peace!

Peg A.

Yelp
Do not book a table in the lounge if you are not ok with smoking!!! Disgusting! They did accommodate our request and move us to the upstairs dining room which is smoke free. Food was delicious and it satisfied our sushi cravings but unfortunately service was terrible!!!! Definitely not up to NYC standards!

Patricia L.

Yelp
We are passing through Milan on the way home... we love Nobu in London, Miami and the DC and NY areas in the States. This place was over the top with regards to the prices and wine/Champagne portions. I'm not afraid to spend money on good food but the skimpy wine and Champagne pours were ridiculous. The food was average. My final opinion... overrated and under delivered!

Kenna G.

Yelp
I love me some Nobu don't get me wrong but bich what the fuk. I was expecting a grand experience w it being an Armani Nobu in the heart of Milan but Armani failed to deliver. Service wasn't bad but the food was so sad like Armani Nobu compared to the Nobu in Newport Beach where I normally go is like comparing store bought ranch to restaurant ranch. (store bought goopy bullshit ranch = Armani Nobu sushi & saucy salty restaurant style ranch = real deal Nobu). The rock shrimp tempura is usually my fav but it was so sad here, dry and flavorless. They also randomly brought out this little free sample of sushi and it was indistinguishable like u could not tell what that this was it just looked like a blob of some fish-like substance but I assumed it'd be top notch bc Nobu duh but uhhHhh it was the fishiest slime ball type shit i've ever put in my mouth i'm convinces it was either the ballsack of a fish or the scraps of someone's leftovers mushed together. The drinks were good tho but none of the food impressed. Anyway I was w my grandma and we were not about to pay a fortune for this bs so we took the leftovers off of the table next to us and ate them. I'm not fucking kidding. In the middle of Armani Nobu prob filled w celebs during fashion week we took the plates of the leftovers on the table next to us and chomped down. The servers were laughing their asses off and it made the experience worth it tbh bc it was so damn funny so 3 stars.

Yelp
Great food as always. Service was spot on also. We will definitely go there again when we are in Milan.

Yelp
If you want a high end/trendy night, go to dinner and/or pre-drinks at Nobu and Armani night club after. Make sure you dress to impress! These two venues are classics and in such a beautiful are of the fashion district in Milano.

Taysin E.

Yelp
We were pretty disappointed that we were unable to dine at NOBU Milan because while there is 'no formal dress policy' my sandals were not acceptable. From the look on the hostess' face when we entered I'm guessing my shirt dress was not fashionable enough either but the alleged offender was my shoes. We regularly ate at NOBU Malibu for years when we lived in Malibu and I have eaten at Nobu London, NY and Miami whenever I pass through. Casual attire has been fine. I suspect that if I had been a celebrity NOBU Milan would have been more accommodating but there it is. Be warned.
google avatar

Yelp
Signature dishes executed well, as always. Extremely limited sushi menu though- no amberjack, kohada or scallops, only type of eel... Service was fine, ambience is very nice. I wish they were all as good as the flagship branches in Malibu or NYC but still I never regret visiting any of them.

Yelp
From renovation, environment, ambient, food to Service - top notch! Absolutely amazing.
