I’ve been to many Nobu locations, but this one in Cabo truly stands out. The terrace has a beautiful view of the beach and Pacific Ocean, making the setting unforgettable. The food was amazing—especially the Albacore with dry miso and black truffle from their local menu. All the classics were just as good as expected: the rock shrimp tempura, lobster tacos, and black cod miso were all delicious. I also tried the wagyu gyoza for the first time, and they were excellent. The service here was the friendliest and best I’ve experienced at any Nobu. A must-visit if you’re in Cabo!

I’ve been to Nobu, but when staying at Nobu hotel, you have to go to Nobu Restaurant. This is a really spacious restaurant that has dim lighting and a good amount of seating. If you never been to Nobu, I highly suggest staples such as the New Style Sashimi and Black Cod Miso. Since we were visiting Nobu in Cabo, I had to try something that was specific to that location, in which luckily there was a separate menu just for that. What we ended up ordering that was specific to that area was some type of Toro with avocado topped with tempura flakes and truffle oil. This was something that was suggested from our server which really helped. For most of the decisions in regard to specials and drinks, the server tended to always aim for the higher price item. So I would be cautious prior to making a decision. Overall the experience was very enjoyable and I’m glad I got to try items exclusive to Nobu Cabo.

I honestly don’t understand the hype around Nobu in Los Cabos. No matter how many Michelin stars or accolades it has, the food was truly disappointing. Beautiful oceanfront setting, yes—and the atmosphere is absolutely stunning. I would give full marks, even beyond five stars, for the view and vibe alone. But the food? Tiny portions, overpriced, and completely lacking in depth or flavor. Everything felt overly hyped and underwhelming. It’s also one of the most expensive restaurants at the resort, yet easily the worst meal I had there. There are so many better places to eat within the hotel—this one is all about the name, not the taste.

Google
The service and food at this Nobu were 10/10. Beautiful setting with great service. Each dish was perfect. Removing one star for the restaurant not allowing us to take our own Uber out and using their car service x3 the price. Otherwise was a great dinner.

Google
Nobu restaurant in Cabo offers a fantastic atmosphere, making you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The ambiance is elegant and sophisticated, providing a great setting for a special night out. I went with my girlfriend, and while the experience was decent, it didn’t fully meet our expectations when it came to the food. We ordered sushi, and while it was incredibly fresh and high quality, it didn’t quite fill us up, leaving us a bit hungry afterward. It’s clear that Nobu is more about the experience than the quantity of food. The service is attentive, and the environment is upscale, perfect for those looking for a luxurious dining experience. However, the cost is something to keep in mind—expect to pay around $150 or more for just two people, which feels a bit steep considering the portion sizes. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a full, satisfying meal, Nobu may not be the best option. I’d recommend eating before you come here if you’re looking for a more substantial dinner. That said, if you’re in the mood for fresh sushi and a unique dining experience, Nobu is a good choice, just be prepared for the premium pricing.

Not Worth the Hype – Rude Staff and Poor Service! The food was fine, but the service was incredibly rude and unprofessional. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed — the staff started clearing food plates while we were still eating. After stepping outside to take some photos, we were informed that they had booked a taxi for us without our permission. They told us the taxi had arrived and insisted we leave immediately or we’d be charged for it. There was no communication, no courtesy, and absolutely no reason for this kind of treatment to us. Also, despite being paying customers, we were not allowed to go down to the beach area, which felt very unwelcoming. We were a group of six and spent a good amount of money, but unfortunately, the attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience. Would not recommend. Never going to any Nobu again. Oh before I forget, no Uber allowed to pick up once you are inside.

Great vibes, food was amazing, service was top tier, everything was spectacular! Must try the banana and pecan dessert, mouth watering!

It certainly is an experience coming to Cabo. Nobody is surely an exciting place to eat. Loved it .

Yelp
Having dinner at sunset at a Nobu right on the beach has to be one of the most heavenly experiences. I have been to Nobu Malibu (California) previously, & after dinner here tonight I would say that the service & food quality here is even better than in Malibu. We had reservations for 6:30pm, & were shown to a table closest to the beach as possible. We all were given black napkins, except my friend in light green pants, who was given a white napkin. Because - no black lint on light clothing! It was windy out, so they made sure we had blazing heat lamps. Folded black pashminas were brought over, dramatically shaken open & then elegantly wrapped around us, as if we each were royalty. Our server was so gracious & warm. She brought over a huge drink menu & gave us time to peruse. There was absolutely no rush at all here, from beginning to end - in a luxurious we-are-on-vacation kindof vibe, not at all in a slow service kindof way. Once we placed our drink order, the food menus came out. I LOVED these: Crispy Rice w/Avocado - the avocado tower was so creamy, with yuzu & a dab of sweet miso sauce, & spoons to serve yourself over the crispy-chewy cubes of rice. It didnt even need the provided soy for dipping. Black Cod w/Miso - always to die for, with that sticky glazed skin & buttery flakes of marinated fish Salmon Tacos - buttery poke-ish salmon cubes in a bite-sized crispy chip taco shell My biggest surprise star: Sweet Potato Cut Roll - crispy crumbs on the rice part of the rice outside roll, a salty-ish sauce, & the plain sweet potato created a delish sweet-salty bite, & a soft w/crispies texture Kumamoto oysters - 3 tiny, extra fresh & briny mignonette-enhanced oysters. I could eat like 50 of these little guys. Reliable choice: House Special Cut Roll - several fresh fishes & avocado rolled w/seaweed & a minimal anount of rice Crispy Rice w/Tuna - those same crispy-chewy rice cubes as w/the avocado, with a seasoned minced tuna tower & soy for dipping Just okay: Tamago nigiri - could be so much fluffier & tastier Tuna tacos - seasoned with a more eclectic & non-Japanese flavor that wasn't for me Steamed rice - crazy but this was the worst! Dry, not sticky, & tasted of chemicals or unfiltered tap water. Definitely not the rice used in the crispy rice w/avocado or tuna. Dessert: Bento box - a richly dark chocolate molten lava cake that's more lava than cake, with a scoop of rich matcha ice cream. Not too sweet, & delicious. Kakigori - a beautiful presentation of shiso & Malibu syrups drizzled over shave ice, with crispy rice, coconut curis, a center of vanilla ice cream, & a few slightly disappointingly not chewy gingery mochi bits. The shiso sauce was the best part of this. We returned again for dinner, & hacked Nobu: we ordered a side of a whole avocado, 2 orders of Black Cod w/Miso, & 4 bowls of seasoned sushi rice, and made our own perfect bowls! We also tried & really liked: Cauliflower w/jalapeño Paris Brest w/cinnamon ice cream Almond sponge w/yogurt custard & strawberry Barley Tea ice cream The Masushi & Nobu Margaritas were excellent too. Our share plates were changed out after every shared dish during both visits, & small drips of sauce on our table wiped clean throughout our meal. This even further proving that excellence in service is alive & thriving here. If you are staying at the Nobu Hotel then obviously come here. If you are close by, this is worth making a special trip for (only open for dinner). If you're looking to propose, you could do worlds worse than here!

Yelp
Cannot believe that I got to dine at Nobu for the first time in Cabo of all places! Definitely one of the highlights of my trip and will definitely be looking at staying at the Nobu Hotel here if I ever get the chance to come back to Cabo. From start to finish the experience I had here was perfection. Staff was professional and attentive. This is the type of place where you share your dishes amongst your group. Some of the dishes I loved were the crispy rice with spicy tuna and the new style sashimi salmon. The sashimi salmon was delicious and I highly recommend it! All the rolls and sushi tacos we shared were superb. It's a little embarrassing to admit that we ordered the chicken teriyaki, but it was quite memorable how good it was! We also shared the kakigori and it was exactly what we needed to cool down since it's so humid outside, it is basically like a shaved ice. The attention to detail in the décor and style of the restaurant did not go unnoticed by me. This place made me stop in my tracks at how gorgeous the design and amazing beach views are. Worth a visit.!

Yelp
The food- BEST sushi in Cabo. Best sushi anywhere, really. Service-attentive. A team of 3 servers attended to the table. We felt very tampered. Ambiance- can't beat the views...restaurant layout was very modern and clean, comfortable, very ZEN. THIS IS MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN CABO. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience at Nobu. I came with a group of ten so we had to partake in the pre fix menu which was nice because we got to try a bunch of different things. I don't think there was one thing that I really didn't like. I found the food to be well cooked and flavorful, the raw seafood was fresh and yummy. We sat outside and it was nighttime so we couldn't see the view at all which sucked, but wasn't the restaurants fault. The service was good and it was overall a great experience. I'm excited to try more locations.

Yelp
I was blown away by the food, scenery and service here. Had read old reviews stating that service was subpar, but it seems like the restaurant has fixed this issue since then; the staff checked in with us frequently, asking if the speed at which they were delivering the food and the quality were good. My husband and I ordered the classic omakase. I can genuinely say that I enjoyed every single dish, from the cold dishes to the hot dishes. Portions were also generous. We were stuffed by the end of our meal--though we downed our dessert (a soufflé per each of us). This was my first Nobu experience and safe to say that it was memorable!

Yelp
Outstanding. The restaurant was immaculate, and well designed. Staff was super helpful. Each item we ordered, e enjoyed thoroughly. The writer recommendations were on point. The only downside which I will not fault them for is getting there is a pain in the ass. But then again that's typical for Cabo.

Yelp
Some dishes were a miss, but overall most of the things we ordered were absolutely delicious. Especially the nigiri, it was amazing! The serve you with a dish at a time and giving you enough time to enjoy the food before the next one comes out. We started out with the shishito peppers which were tasty, the mushroom soup, and the lobster tacos which were one of my favorite dishes I ate that night. Next we got toro with caviar and wasabi aioli. I really enjoyed this one, but my partner hated it because he dislikes aioli and found it way to over powering. Next we had the kampachi which was also very tasty. Next we had the Chilean sea bass with the aioli sauce on the side. This was pretty good as well. Then we had the salad, which in my option had too much cheese added to it, but the shrimp was cooked very nicely. Last we got our sushi pieces and these were some of the best nigiri pieces I have ever had. The chutoro was amazing! They do have specialty menu items that are different from their New York location that I have been too, so it was fun to try things that we can't find at the other locations. The restaurant is perfectly placed against the ocean and is beautifully designed. It is a long road to get the restaurant if you are not staying at the hotel, but it's definitely worth it. Our first waiter was excellent and very attentive. There was a shift change however and our second waitress was still very knowledgeable, however our first waiter was on another level making sure everything was perfect for us. We went at night so it was pitch black and the ocean was not visible, but it was still romantic and the ocean sounded beautifully. Obviously on the expensive side, but would come here again.

Yelp
This place is directly on the beach and is the perfect spot for the best sunset views on the Pacific. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. The appetizers I would suggest are the crispy rice with tuna and avocado there is something about the rice fried into cubes with tuna that just hits your pallet the right way. You can't go wrong with any of the rolls but the shrimp tempura roll is absolutely wonderful. The mini tacos are super mini...small bite size but the short ribs are packed full of flavor and the tuna is small cute and mouth watering. We had a large table of about 10 so had a huge array of the menu that was tried...everything was amazing. The chicken teriyaki I would pass on though it is a grilled chicken with the skin and wasn't the highlight, spicy scallops were great they're smaller scallops covered in a spicy sauce; the Chilean Seabass suggest asking for it to be crispy on one side and it is mouthwatering; lobster in a pepper wasabi was good and not spicy. The lobster comes out in small bite size price with vegetables in a sauce, the fillet is wonderful, highly suggest the seafood mix - comes with everything in the ocean and is to die for. Above all the views are breath taking, can be a bit windy but 100% worth it.

Yelp
Everything was amazing. From the food to the service to the good atmosphere. Will definitely come again.

Yelp
Wow, what a disappointment. You'll be safe ordering the sushi - don't make our mistake. Just avoid the cooked seafood at all costs. Not sure if Chef Nobu knows they are using frozen lobsters (the Lobster wasabi pepper was $91) and frozen crab (the crab was actually disgusting and you could taste the oil it was fried in), but I would never get cooked food at Nobu again. The sashimi salad was great, and I loved the sauce they used. *** The fish was a bit too thinly sliced and was basically bathing in the tart sauce. *** The toro scallion cut roll ($33) was small but decent. Nothing to write home about, especially compared to our spectacular dinner at Manta last night. (Pro tip: the same roll is available at their downstairs restaurant Nami for $29, I found out when I accidentally ordered it there) The service was good, and the staff made sure to keep our water cups full at all times. However, as consistent with our experience as guests of the Nobu hotel, we noticed a trend of lack of A/C. We came during the humid season, so we were all dying inside the restaurant (and my nose was dying from the worker's BO- not his fault as I don't think it is reasonable to have your workers man a restaurant in humid heat without A/C or a fan blowing). However, that definitely assaulted our physical senses and we did not have as good of a time at the Nobu restaurant as we had at Manta (which was very comfortably cool and air conditioned). Our Nobu meal came out to $353 and the whole time my boo and I were fantasizing about our dinner from Manta instead. It's a great one and done, but given the chance to spend the same amount of money but get 2x the QUALITY and quantity at Manta, I would not choose my meal at Nobu again.

Yelp
Nobu Los Cabos so you know we had to try their exclusive/special dishes (SD) but we started off with a classic, their: Yellowtail Jalapeño 10/10- classic dish here for good reasons, it's incredibly fresh and has so much flavor. The sauce and jalapeño complement the dish perfectly Kampachi Sashimi w/ Miso "Aguachile style" (SD) 7.38/10- I really liked how the sauce and garnishing complemented the sashimi well, however I thought the sashimi was lacking flavor. Incredibly fresh tho Wagyu sliders with truffle potato chips (SD) 10000/10- this was quite literally the best burger I have ever had in my life. It was absolutely fantastic and topped with shiitake mushrooms, onions, and truffle aioli. Even without having too much sauce the burger was SO flavorful and the bun was like a brioche sweet bun. The chips were good and light, while still having a truffle flavor, which I liked. Hot scallops 8.89/10- these were incredibly delicious and had lots of flavor, I absolutely loved the creamy sauce on top too as it really brought the flavor of the scallops out Lamb chops (SD) 8.46/10- incredibly tender and rich in flavor however I felt that the sauce brought most of the flavor for it and I wished the lamb was a bit more seasoned Lobster tacos 6.27/10- lacked flavor however I really liked the outer crunchy shell and how fresh the lobster itself is Brussel sprouts- mansis dish apparently it was good Lychee martini 7.65/10 (SD) - very light and airy, I liked the fresh taste of the lychee. Nothing special but still good. We all got this cocktail lmao. Tres leches (SD) 7.17/10- I was SO excited to try this as tres leches is my fav dessert however i was a bit disappointed because I felt that it was way more creamy rather than the light tres leches I'm used to that's doused in condensed milk. They also served this with watermelon sorbet which was such an odd pairing imo. I liked the sorbet but not with the cake. Still good, just not what I was expecting at all Everything with (SD) next to it means it's exclusive to Nobu Los Cabos. This place was absolutely beautiful and the food was also phenomenal. It's definitely a trek to get there but I think it's worth it

Yelp
Nobu is already one of my favorite restaurants. I decided to make reservations since I stayed at the hotel for a couple of days. I dined outside with a beautiful view. My reservation was at 5:30 perfect time to catch the sunset. They have heaters and blankets for the night weather. My waiter was amazing and took his time with serving me. I didnt feel rushed at all. I was there for a good 2 hours. To drink I ordered a lychee martini , espresso martini, and the garden - all were amazing. To eat I tried the blue crab tacos amazing. The scallop creamy spicy they were okay the sauce was a lot, I like that the scallops weren't huge it seems like they cut them which is nice. I also ordered the chillean seabass with yuzu kosho which was amazing. For dessert im not really a chocolate fan but I tried the Paris Brest different but phenomenal. Also while waiting for food someone came by to ask if I wanted to read while waiting so I was able to read a little of Nobu's story which was nice. 10/10 food, view , service and experience as always.

Yelp
I've been to many Nobu restaurants, but this one beats them all out of the ballpark. I don't know if it's me being on vacation or the location of the restaurant on the beach with the sun setting in the back while I ate my dinner, but it was such a perfect meal. Food was excellent. Service was spectacular. Don't forget to ask for a seat outside during sunset--it truly makes a huge difference. I loved Nobu for dinner, but the lunch items were also great! Best pastries and sweetest fruits I've had in Mexico! Will definitely be visiting this restaurant every time I'm in Cabo. It's a trek from the airport but anything for good food right?

Yelp
You can never go wrong here! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambience! This is by far one of my favorite spots in Cabo
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
We love this restaurant here in Cabo San Lucas. We prefer to sit in the bar to watch the sunset and enjoy drinks and food with Alberto, the best bartender! Try The Garden you will not be disappointed! We love the wagyu gyoza, the albacore with crispy onions, wagyu sliders, yellowtail jalapeño... so many delicious items on the menu!!
google avatar

Hanna S.

Yelp
My boyfriend took me to Mexico ( Los Cabos ) for the first time & we decided to go and eat at the Nobu! The service was amazing, everyone was very nice and accommodating. Ambiance was very minimalist, we had a view of the beach. it was relaxing and peaceful. The food was so good! The most memorable was this toro, caviar & truffle it had this aioli on the bottom. truly immaculate. Next our personal fav was this wagyu, foie gras & crispy onion roll amazzzingg!!! that's all. The mock tail they had made for me was also so good it was lychee & passionfruit, not too sweet. The only let down I would say is that they had absolutely no uni that day & the desserts.. although it looks very appetizing it was well alright. Overall we had a good time together and the food was great.

Yelp
While the apparently limited menu of the fancy Japanese restaurant at Nobu Hotel may seem underwhelming, the impeccable service and deliciousness of the food and mixed drinks were astounding. We heard that the black miso cod was a must-order, and after consuming a few of them over a couple visits, we resoundingly agree. The mixed drinks from the cocktail menu are as delicious as they are beautiful. Even the sushi, which seemed overpriced at first glance, lived up to the hype. We didn't make reservations, so one night we enjoyed sitting at the bar, while another night we enjoyed sitting inside. The view from the tiered patios overlooking the ocean is absolutely stunning, so having a reservation helps to enhance the experience.
google avatar

Donny P.

Yelp
What more can I say about this restaurant that's not already said? Is it as good as the other Nobus in the world? Yes. Is it expensive? Yes. Was the miso black Cod a must order? Yes. They have a lot of items that are the usual and they have a separate one where there are specific items to Cabo! The Chilean sea bass was the best thing that I ate here! Soft and crunchy and a to die for sauce. I wanted to order another one. Everything else was delicious and well worth the splurge. How much did I spend for 2 people? Close to 300 dollars! Not the price of some " cheap" lobster meal down near Squid Row or downtown Cabo. But sometimes you just need to treat yourself to a good meal right? Great service and attention to deal.
google avatar

Nancy M.

Yelp
Ambiance was amazing. Service was great. But the food for the price was not impressive at all. The famous sushi was bland.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
Wow. I booked Nobu for my bf's 30th birthday and it was nothing short of exceptional. I can't even believe there are bad reviews on here because we were both blown away and can't stop talking about it. From the second we got out of the car the staff was so attentive, greeting and escorting us to the restaurant. I booked our reservation about 30 min before sunset and the view was magical. We loved our drinks- the lychee martini and their version of a Moscow mule "the garden". The jalapeño yellowtail was probably our favorite dish, but the crispy rice with spicy tuna was also delish. I am celiac and they were very accommodating to me, every time they placed a dish on the table they assured me that it was GF. The matcha ice cream in the bento box dessert was a dream. 10/10.
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
Gorgeous restaurant overlooking ocean. We stayed at the Nobu Hotel so it was an easy pick for us. Ended up having dinner at Nobu 2 nights. Sushi one night - superb! Good sake! 2nd night the miso fish, rock shrimp and everything with gorgeous wine was so good. Outstanding cocktails! Great service! Loved!!
google avatar

Paige R.

Yelp
I'm giving the unpopular opinion here but, I was not impressed. The food was bland and basic when we were able to get it, the service was slow and they brought our food one person at a time one item per time. We had to request our drinks and water refills multiple times. I never knew you could mess up fried shrimp but the tempura shrimp was so bland, even the sauce they tossed it in was tasteless. The sushi was the best thing we ate, and it was just rice and fried shrimp. Seriously, the only good thing about the place was the atmosphere and the view.
google avatar

Alaya W.

Yelp
So every time I'm in Malibu I always go to Nobu Malibu but when I'm in Cabo I love to go to see the Nobu Los Cabos. Of course it is a very expensive restaurant you are paying for the audience you're paying for the name but the food comes out piping hot the food is fresh the quality of service is amazing it is a definitely experience for two people expect to spend at least 250 I would say or 230 for two people to enjoy yourself you definitely have to try their drinks their drinks are amazing there's so she is amazing air fry crispy rice and tuna tartare is amazing.
google avatar

Kristopher W.

Yelp
Excellent Experience! While vacationing in Cabo my girlfriend and I wanted to check out Nobu. We made reservations prior to arriving in Cabo. We sat outside facing the ocean and it was amazing! The view while the sun was setting was beautiful. The waiter was helpful with giving recommendations and checking on us. We decided to order items we could share so we ordered tacos (not pictured), shrimp, spinach salad and a desert. Everything was amazing! Also, our cocktails were very good. This was an amazing dining experience from start to finish.
google avatar

Airiel J.

Yelp
Phenomenally fabulous! Miso cod on butter lettuce, avocado and crispy rice, mushrooms, shrimp tossed in the cream sauce, vegetables taco, lobster taco, and wagyu taco. All were what we expected from Nobu!
google avatar

Ian H.

Yelp
wonderful service great food and awesome view. Worth every penny would recommend to anyone visiting Los Cabos.

Jaslyn J.

Yelp
Let me start with the service is really great! They were attentive and polite. We did a chef's tasting since it was everyone's first time. Everyone liked 3-4 dishes of the many we tried. Overall we were underwhelmed by the experience and price. Most of the food was just ok taste wise and aesthetically it doesn't offer much to the eyes. I did hear that dining outdoors at sunset is really nice. It was too windy and cold when we visited to eat outside. We enjoyed the experience but didn't have to go back.
google avatar

Preethi R.

Yelp
Do NOT eat here! And definitely don't order the omakase. I'm giving it two stars because the wait staff was very kind and the restaurant was in one of the most beautiful spots I've eaten at. However, the food was terrible. And I'm not picky at all. I felt quite sick after the 7th course. Some of the food was just plain inedible. The gazpacho tasted like canned tomato. The sea urchin and foie gras made me gag. The wagyu felt and tasted like rubber. The fish is not fresh at all. Even liberal use of truffle and yuzu couldn't save this dinner. I've had omakase at Nobu at Malibu and paid half the price of the one at Cabo, and was infinitely happier at Malibu and just repulsed at the one at Cabo. Honestly, I've been way happier at casual $5 sushi places than this vastly overpriced and overrated Nobu. Including photos below. At least everything was beautifully plated, the only palatable part of the food.
google avatar

Ken U.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this restaurant while we stayed at the Nobu resort. It was rather windy so we got a table inside; just a few people braved the patio. The food and service was excellent; probably the best gyoza we have ever had. We enjoyed the great view, the excellent bottle of wine and the multi course approach. We would stop by again.

Rashada B.

Yelp
Service was impeccable as well as the food. I don't really eat beef but I totally recommend the ribeye with truffle butter. You won't regret it. If I could give more stars, I definitely would.
google avatar

Bell A.

Yelp
Nobu was great for breakfast. Clean, fast service and great food. Not busy of course because of the pandemic. Reservations are needed for dinner but it looks like you can just walk right in for breakfast. Loved it and going back again tomorrow for breakfast.

Yelp
This Nobu is by far my least favorite nobu I've ever been to, out of the 5 in the states I've visited. It has the nice views of the ocean, great ambiance and cool vibes but THE MENU items are NOT THE SAME. Every nobu is supposed to have classic items that are similar and slightly different items. But even their classic items did not taste good here. Their Alaskan king crab tempura was so a bunch of tiny lil pieces of crab. The shishito peppers are not even tossed in the miso sauce, it's on the side. The spicy tuna has absolutely no flavor here. The spicy Edamame is not spicy at all. The fish taste a lil fishier here but it's not bad. Even the drinks taste slightly different. I came to knowledge that this Nobu is not actually apart of the same chain of Nobu's in America. This place has a license agreement to use the Nobu name which is why I think the level of consistency, taste, and overall experience is not the same. This place has the same Nobu prices for a fraction of the quality as regular nobus in the states. Even the servers and food runners are not that knowledgeable of the food. There are some dishes here that are great, beef tobanyaki, white fish tiradito, Chilean sea bass and tres leches cake but overall I was disappointed with my experience here and I came twice.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful we sat outside with these nice little mushroom lights. Came during brunch for legendary week and for dinner on our own a la carte. I recommend 4 items if you come here: 1. Miso black cod - 10/10 flavorful moist delicious 2. Kakigori - 10/10 sweet shaved snow with Japanese mint and condensed milk with strawberry ice cream light flavorful refreshing 3. Beef toban yaki 10/10 interesting soy flavored beef clay pot with delicious sautéed onions and mushrooms, more affordable than wagyu and still tender and unique 4. Tuna new style sashimi salad with matsuhisha dressing - 10/10 really fresh fish with a delicious dressing and it was such an interesting unique take on tuna sashimi Really pricey, knocked off stars for poor service. And sadly theirs no on the house water. It's 12$ for every bottle of Fiji or pellegrino which is outrageous, so drink water ahead of time??

Yelp
We loved the food at this restaurant but definitely more on the expensive side. This fine dining restaurant has a great view of the sunset (plan time accordingly) and a great ambiance. For starters, you can't go wrong with the edamame and shishito peppers. For entrees just about anything is incredible. The beef teriyaki tenderloin was so tender and incredible flavor. The favorite dish was the waygu gyoza - absolutely phenomenal. The sushi was very fresh, can't go wrong! The fish and chips were something fun and different. I recommend ordering multiple items, maybe even a few of each item if with a group, as the dishes are small and meant to be tapas style.

Yelp
Incredibly overpriced for what is basically generic sushi. If you want to say you've been to Nobu then that's good. Terrific view but again, very very expensive.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant! Wonderful service - especially at the bar. Greco is a master bartender and a joy to watch make drinks. The first night of our stay at Nobu Hotel we enjoyed the Tanoshi Hour (happy hour from 4-6). What a great way to try almost the entire menu! We were told the next evening would be the last of the Tanoshi Hours because the hotel expected to be busier. We showed up the next night (along with several others) and were informed that management had changed its mind and Tanoshi Hour was done. Kind of a jerk move, considering it was a Sunday and still not busy. The wood, glass, and clean lines make the space really wonderfully modern. The food is standard Nobu fare - delicious and expensive. Given its only one of three dining options at the hotel, it's hard to eat here more than two to three times.

Yelp
I came here with a big group of ladies and we had a table with a beautiful view of the ocean at sunset! The cocktails were amazing. Some girls had some spicy skinny margaritas and I had a martini with run, coconut oil, and pineapple and also a Moscow mule. The food orders are family style, so we tried a ton of different food and we liked them all! Only downside is that even though it's "family style", the plates aren't that big, so we needed to order duplicates and a bunch of different things. The service and ambience was great though and we were there for quite a while!

Yelp
I am a huge fan of the Nobu in Phoenix and have been thinking about that meal since I had it 3 years ago (I am not kidding it was so good). So for a very special dinner after my sister's engagement, we came here (4 of us). We stayed along the beach in the main strip of Cabo and the Noby hotel was about 40 minutes away. Made reservations for 6pm and were seated right away with the option of outside patio or indoor seating (we went late August, just sit inside as it is so hot out). Our server (I forget his name but he was very very kind, attentive, and provided excellent service. All of the staff really). I have to note, the attention to detail is superb - 3 of us wore light clothing and my sister wore a black dress. She was given a black dinner napkin as to not get lint on her dress while the rest of us got white napkins. Incredible. Drinks - The Garden (refreshing, great for a hot day, my favorite of the bunch), Rokoto Margarita (mm spicy, delicious marg), Mezcal Passion (the margarita actually had more of a smokey mezcal flavor than this drink), Lychee Elderflower martini (very sweet but good). The food: - Lobster Ceviche: strong flavors from the onion/cucumber. The lobster was good but not a life changing dish - Tuna Sashimi: this was a special dish of the day that our server recommended. The wasabi aioli was smoked. It was so smokey, so flavorful, the caviar and truffle were amazing - Sashimi Salad: I am still thinking of this dish. I think this was a group favorite. The flavors were so crisp, the sauce was just flavorful enough to have the fish sop up and wrap around the lettuce. I loved it. - Yellowtail Jalapeno - the sauce was so yummy! Jalapeno was a bit spicy so beware if you do not like spice. Whenever I see this on a menu, I have to order and this did not disappoint. Albacore Crispy Onion: the crispy onions were like chips. I would have preferred to have more sauce so that the onions could soak it up. - Cauliflower with Jalapeno Sauce: seared cauliflower with nice subtle jalapeno sauce. The cauliflower was crispy on the outside and a nice veggie dish to go with the fish. - White Fish Cactus Salsa: I didn't know what to expect when ordering cactus in a dish but it was light and refreshing. White Fish Sashimi Dry Miso: Hmm, not my favorite dish, the dry miso was a nice miso flavor but I mostly flipped the fish over so that the sauce could be soaked into the dry miso. - Lobster Wasabi Pepper: the dish was not what we were expecting. It was more of a stir fry dish. - Japanese A5 Wagyu Hot Stone - I do love a good hot rock. This was nice and I am sad to say that I have had better Wagyu that was more buttery.. perhaps it was not A5. I wanted to love this more. We went inside for drinks at the bar - the presentation and taste were amazing. Overall, the meal was awesome and the views are amazing. The other half of our party have never been to Nobu before and they said it was world changing. I had my expectations very high after my first experience but this experience was very good. I would recommend Nobu Los Cabos for a special dinner or if this is your first time to Nobu.

Yelp
All I can say is wow..dining, food , atmosphere, ambiance...Nobu in Cabool has it all. I had Wagyu sliders, a nice leafy salad and some sushi. For dessert I had the tres leches cake. Although it was very pricy, I would go back. The server was extremely fluent with the menu. Easy to get reservations and food was served hot and in an appropriate amount of time.

Yelp
Amazing ambience overlooking the beach and by the adult pool- good music. Was a little too cold out by patio and they didn't have enough heaters, but brought us blankets. Service was good, food was fresh, drinks were good and strong.

Yelp
This was our first time at Nobu and we really enjoyed the food. Pro Tip if staying at another resort: Arrive in time for the Tanoshi Hour in the bar and lounge area from 4-6pm! We were able to try so many menu items. The restaurant and hotel was stunning. The location does seem to be a little far from the Marina/downtown area so keep that in mind when planning your reservations. Overall we will definitely be back

Yelp
Location is breathtaking and the service is impeccable. Enjoyed our drinks and food. I would recommend the Nobu Margarita and Rock Shrimp Tempura. The tacos were tasty but small.

Yelp
The new Nobu restaurant in Cabo isn't at the level of the other ones worldwide just yet. My four stars is for their food and views. While the food is delicious, the service is a bit...wonky. Perhaps because they are so new, the team hasn't figured out how to work together cohesively? I imagine these issues I mention below will be worked out within a few months? The views are stunning and the restaurant itself is lovely. Great set up with a huge outdoor deck with seating as well. Upon entry, the standard Nobu greeting (standard for Japanese sushi spots) of "Irasshaimase!" is shouted out. It felt rather abrasive...perhaps because there are SO MANY staff members. The ratio of staff to diners was nuts. Again, I assume this is because they're newer but perhaps they're overstaffed right now? As soon as we were seated, we were given wet hand towels to prep us for our meal. As soon as they were taken away, another server brought us wet hand towels again. We told her we had just done this. Immediately our server came to ask what we would like to drink and we said we needed a minute. He asked what we would like to eat then, and I asked for a menu! He said he recommended starting with the spicy edamame with ponzu sauce. Sounds great!! But I'd still like a menu before I pick something? (I like to know the prices of things before I purchase!) With our menus finally in hand, we ordered his recommended spicy edamame. He was quite right in the suggestion as they were my favourite dish of the night. We then asked for a taste of three different wines. Soon after our server approached the table next to us and started going over the three wine tastes he was setting down. "Um, excuse me? Those are for us...". The other diners were confused and I could tell we were in for some service issues. After I settled on a wine and my boyfriend chose a lychee martini, THEN the sommelier came over and introduced himself and asked if we'd like some help with wine selection. I said it would have been helpful before we selected the wine. ‍ We got a side of white rice to soak up the leftover ponzo sauce. Do this. Our server returned to ask us about water. We said we are fine with filtered. Any reputable hotel or restaurant in Mexico will offer this in lieu of having to pay for bottled water, since tap water in Mexico isn't considered safe (at least not for tourists). He said they don't offer filtered water. We were then brought a $15USD bottle of Fiji water. FIFTEEN DOLLARS for Fiji water?! Not even sparkling? Sorry, but that's just absurd. The food, however, was good. I had eggplant in miso that was so yummy and I had a cauliflower dish that was ok...the shallots and sauce this was prepared with was good. My boyfriend had sashimi...yellowtail and Toro. Which he loved. He also had the Black Cod in miso and said it was incredible! They knew it was my birthday, and considering how high end Nobu restaurants are, I was surprised we didn't get a little birthday sorbet or anything...although honestly I would have preferred they comped the $15 water! The servers also seem too ready to clear plates. Several times I had to shoo them away from a dish that we weren't done with, haha! There was also major restaurant management presence...too much. Groups of 3-4 managers clustered throughout with notepads, obviously figuring out what they wanted to do with other aspects of the place. This is probably something that should be either done before dinner service, or after though. Anyway, if you're staying at the Nobu Hotel and fancy dinner at the Nobu restaurant, hopefully it's a month or so after this review so they'll have hade time to work out the kinks? I'd also recommend sitting outside...less staff hovering outside. Oh and take your FREE water that they give you in the room to dinner unless you're fine with paying $15 for Fiji water.

Yelp
Obsessed. To preface we understand Nobu is a popular restaurant and has a very popular name - the prices are high but we did anticipate that. During our stay at the Nobu hotel we visited the restaurant twice, once for Tanoshi Hour (happy hour) and once as a formal dinner. Both times the food and service were beyond our expectations. For tanoshi hour expect a limited menu, limited seating (outdoor seating in the lounge) slightly smaller portions, and half price. We enjoyed the spicy tuna and crispy rice(a must), wagyu sliders (I will think about these until the day I die), rock shrimp, spicy tuna roll, and the trio of tacos. The wagyu sliders are only only available during tanoshi hour and they are easily the best sliders I've ever had. They were to die for We went for dinner on a Saturday night and the sunset was the most beautiful sunset I've ever witnessed we ordered a bunch of food for two. Rock shrimp, shishito peppers, black cod, spicy tuna and rice, a crab roll, yellow tail with jalapeño, the Paris Brest for dessert, and the bento box. We also ordered coco shisho and a Santa Maria as our mock tails. Everything with the exception of the bento box dessert was exceptional. The portions are very small and our waiter recommended 6 dishes - we left with a 250 check and still feeling a bit hungry. However I still it was worth it because the quality of the food and the ambience are perfect to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy a date night.

Yelp
Just a phenomenal place. Excellent food, superb service, and attention to detail. Expect the price point to be higher.

Yelp
Have eaten here several times since the hotel opened. Close to Diamante .........beautiful location, and just a golf cart ride away. The food has always been very good, with modest portions and relatively high prices. Reviewed the menu before making a reservation today, and found the pricing to be stratospheric! Compared with Nobu Beverly Hills etc. the prices for many dishes are 50% to 100% higher. No longer a good option for dining in Cabo. PT Barnum was right.

Yelp
The whole idea of staying at the Nobu Hotel was to be in proximity to all this excellent food. During our four-night stay, we ate dinner here twice. We had similar experiences both times: the food met my high expectations, but didn't exceed them. At that price point, I expected to be dazzled. Instead I left disappointed, feeling ironically that in my otherwise wonderful vacation at Nobu Hotel this restaurant was the low point. Don't get me wrong--this was mostly outstanding. The black miso cod is definitely a highlight of the menu, a dish everyone should experience. Nobu serves a generous portion, so consider just getting one serving for the table. Also, the view is outstanding, the cocktails were inventive and delicious, the shishito peppers were the best I've ever had. The service was slightly overwhelmed at times, but cheery and kind and helpful. That was to be expected across our stay. The restaurant and pool staff always elevated everything. My second dinner here was entirely sushi. Three cut rolls. Don't do that. Nobu clearly puts its efforts into the entrees because this sushi was bland and uninspired. Almost like an afterthought. Now, the worst part: The Music. I know that seems petty, but when you hear your third electronica Britney Spears remix during your 90 minute $200 meal, you take notice. It's like REM and '90s house remixes. There were also several birthdays, which I know because they kept cutting out the house mix to play some odd electronic Happy Birthday track. Honestly, I'm not over exaggerating this and remember we ate here twice. Both times we asked about the music. Both times we got eye rolls. Like the wait staff just puts up with it. It's such an odd choice for a high-end restaurant. And something that definitely can be remedied if anyone cares. It completely ruined the atmosphere for us. Anyway, eating here once is enough. If you're staying at the hotel, other spots are better.

Yelp
Just fabulous in every way. Every sense, most importantly taste was fully satisfied. I would be back many times if $$$ was not an issue. Lobster tacos, sea bass and tenderloins were all so amazing.

Yelp
Great food.... BUT- I've had way better dinners for literally half the cost of this place. If you want to pay for a view, it's your spot! Service was slow but it may be due to covid. We spent about $500 for 2 people!!!!!!
