Nobu Restaurant Portman Square

I really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered the season omakase and it was phenomenal. Great flavors, beautiful presentation and a good amount of food. The confit sea bass was one of the best bites of food that I’ve had in a while. Service was good and staff were all quite friendly. The space is also quite beautiful. Prices are a bit on the high side if you order à la carte. The omakase felt like a good value, though.

Booked a table for me and my friend as two girlies to pre celebrate my birthday. Anyhow that’s not the point. On their website, it states that the dress code is smart/casual with no torn jeans flip flops around. I mean who in the right mind would wear flip flops in this kind of weather in london. My understanding was that you can still wear or dress reasonable. As we walked in for our dinner reservation approx around 8pm, there were people who were really underdressed. Sweaters jumpers trainers if even. I really felt like the atmosphere and where I was was simply an upscale of Wagamama’s at this point. Was awkward at one point. Regretted being ‘overly dressed’. Food EXCEPTIONAL. Photos show what we ordered and a shushi which I forgot to take a picture. The service was a bit too slow, had to wait for just around 30-40 mins since we ordered a dessert. I felt like the waiters were more attentive or busy with other guests which is fine. Will I come again for sure. The food was really good quality and I can see this place being a really good spot for a quick lunch but would definitely not recommend anyone coming here for a special occasions. It felt like there were more tourists or hotel guests who just booked for the sake of it. Overall the food was great but I would recommend anyone to attend wearing really casual clothes.

This is my first time experience here but I been twice in Nobu Bangkok From the moment I stepped into Nobu, I knew I was in for something special, but what truly elevated the experience from great to unforgettable was the incredible service by stuff . The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was a masterclass in flavor and presentation. Each bite was fresh, thoughtfully crafted, and unmistakably Nobu. Recommend sweet doughnuts I’m not sure about the name but doughnuts is so good my boyfriend he don’t like fish and very sensitive with fish but here he can eat them all

Cannot believe these mixed reviews, we had an absolutely extraordinary experience at the Nobu Sunday Brunch 🥢🍣🍤 We booked for 2:30 which turned out to be perfect, as all food is filled up constantly and we never had to wait to help ourselves. It did not at any point feel to busy or crammed. The DJ provided for a fun atmosphere. The handrolls are made to order, jalapeño yellowtail, crispy rice, the iconic tacos, nigiri, maki and more! Everything tasted super fresh, and the offer of the mains and dessert bar too felt generous. Although the brunch is set at £90 + additional service charge, we felt like we made up for it plenty with the amount of high quality sushi we got out of it.

Love love loved this. We came for the bottomless sushi brunch and it did not disappoint. With salmon being the star of the show. The sashimi was pure butter with it melting in your mouth. It was clear that the fish was so fresh and the flavours were exquisite. The yellowtail was also a hit with the jalapeños, it had such a citrusy taste and it worked so well with the yellowtail to make the perfect bite. All of the rolls were made fresh at the sushi station and you have to try the hand rolls if you have the chance to visit. The sushi taco station was incredible. The crispy rice gave the perfect crunch when paired with the salmon and tuna. Although it is quite an expensive experience it is not one to miss everything was so fresh and for all of the food you get it is definitely worth it. The details made the experience so special with the waiters constantly topping up water and taking away old plates gave it that extra special touch. The mains were also exceptional, I’d recommend the black cod miso it melted in the mouth and the flavours worked so well together. The salmon teriyaki was also delicious as well as the beef toban which came with a show the beef was extremely tender and the mushrooms and veggies were delicious along with the meat. The dessert counter was also a hit, there were so many different fruits, buns mini cakes they had everything you could have wished for. The apple shaped bun was on of my favourites it was filled with a creamy apple sauce and it was incredibly cute as it was shaped as an apple. I’d also recommend the pistachio madelines which were full of flavour. I also opted for an amaretto sour and it was pure cherry. It was such a delicious drink I’d highly recommend this whether you’re going for the brunch or simply hitting the bar. The atmosphere was perfect, the music was the perfect vibe for the Sunday brunch and although it was relatively busy you could still hear each other. If you’re looking for a fancy sushi brunch this is definitely the spot in London all details were incredible and the food was exceptional.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came here to celebrate my partner’s birthday and from start to finish the experience was amazing 🎉. Huge thanks to Natalia Sunne for arranging the reservation and setting everything up for the birthday surprise 🎂🥂. We were seated at a comfy table overlooking the restaurant and the chefs working in the kitchen 👨‍🍳🔥. Our waiter, Mr. Salvatore G, was not only super knowledgeable but also very friendly and entertaining 🙌 — really made the evening special. For food, we went with the Classic Omakase (£125pp) and couldn’t be happier with the choice 🍣✨. Every dish was an absolute delight, and the champagne + cocktails were top-notch 🍾🍸. The ambience, music, and crowd — exactly what you’d expect at Nobu: top level 👌. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend to friends and family ❤️.

An indulgent experience with the finest food served to us. We ordered the yellow fin sashimi and chicken wings as our starters. (see photos below) The sashimi still has me in a chokehold, and wondering when I can next indulge in it.. Rock shrimp tempura with three condiment sauces, as well as succulent and juicy pork belly with a dollop of spicy wasabi, served by friendly and organized waiting staff. The restaurant was cozy and illuminated with soft ambient lighting throughout. The music wasn’t deafening so as to allow for comfortable conversation. I also liked that there was a fair distance between our table and the neighboring one(s) to ensure some level of privacy. Over all I’d rate I 15/10! Freshly prepared, authentic and high quality Japanese food; a definite must try!

I had breakfast at the Nobu restaurant as part of my stay. Must say their offerings from the menu were delicious (see photos)! Scrambled Tamago with Avocado (I asked for mine without eggs). This in the jalapeño sauce was surprisingly delicious. I also had the pistachio and matcha croissant from the buffet which was also yummy.
