The Best Street Foods in Québec, Poland, Malta, & Finland - AFAR

"I experienced the Warsaw Night Market as a moonlit open-air dining scene set in a former railway station, complete with live music and offerings from Poland’s emerging craft beer scene — a lively spot for midnight snacks." - AFAR

we visited the market when we just arrived in Warsaw for dinner, and it was one of the best meals we had the entire trip! i tried korean style fried chicken and it was awesome, even with some kimchi on the side that was delicious. my sister had tacos from the mexican stand that even my dad, who doesn’t like cilantro, really enjoyed them. for dessert we had taiyaki filled with chocolate cream and custard, which were definitely the highlight of the evening since the guy from the stand said “arigato” to me and i panicked a little (still don’t know why but i was really tired lmao). we also brought some chocolate filled churros and stroopwafel (since my sister is OBSESSED with Max Verstappen). the prices were reasonable, that’s coming from someone from Czechia since i think a nice dinner in Prague is way more expensive. it wasn’t really crowded but i do recommend coming in the late afternoon rather than the evening since you’ll have a place to sit. overall great atmosphere and amazing food! :) (i don’t have many pictures of the food because we were really hungry and ate it too fast lol)

We found this little market on the map when we were staying nearby, it's not very well advertised, definitely a hidden gem of Warsaw. You can only access it via an unnamed road off of Ulica Towarowa, right past the rail museum and post office. Don't be deceived by often-wrong google street view. Excellent place, lots of food trucks with food from around the world, Vietnam to Brazil and lots in between. They had a dj playing music when we were there, nothing crazy or too loud. They open in the afternoon and go into the evening. Whatever you're in the mood for you will find it here. Lots of beer, wine, and hard alcohol stands as well. There are plenty tables and chairs to sit at. You can carry your beverages and food anywhere you want. The vendors give reusable containers for a returnable fee, just bring back watever token they give you, and you'll get the deposit back in whatever form of payment you used. I rarely give 5 stars but this one is well deserved, whomever organized this did an excellent job. Whatever food/drink you're in the mood for you can find here and it's very good.

I didn't know there are food stands inside this market. But apparently it was for night eating and drinking. One of the places inside like a disco and play music with DJ. So you eat and drink with music background. However, it is too loud to talk someone and crowded. I think better for young adults

Google
What an amazing food market! Super fun vibes every night and amazing kiosks offering recipes all around the world! Must visit if you’re in the area!

Google
Great assortment of different places to get food! Loved the quality of the different dishes. The atmosphere is really nice and the audience is of mixed ages. Drinks are plentiful available as well as toilets that are clean and free. Highly recommend checking it out!

Google
such a great atmosphere, lots of tasty food from all over the world, as a vegetarian I recommend the bao bun and halloumi pita, there is a DJ on friday and saturday from 19:00 , free bathroom was pretty nice

Google
The night market is enjoyable, but it could definitely use more food stands and especially more drink stands. The atmosphere also felt like it needed a bit more energy to really bring it to life. Still, with what it does have to offer, it’s worth a visit and deserves 4 stars.

Yelp
A Must-Visit Hidden Gem in Warsaw! Nocny Market is an absolute vibe! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is electric, set against the backdrop of an old train station, it's the perfect mix of edgy, artsy, and welcoming. The outdoor seating under string lights creates such a cozy and romantic ambiance, ideal for a casual date night or a fun evening out with friends. What really makes this place shine is the variety of food and drink vendors. You can hop from stall to stall trying different cuisines, from Asian street food to Polish fusion to indulgent desserts. There's something for every craving. And the drink options? Amazing! Cocktails, craft beers, even unique local spirits--perfect for sipping while people-watching or enjoying the music. It's lively without being overwhelming, and the layout encourages wandering, chatting, and discovering something new around every corner. Definitely an unexpected great experience, don't miss it if you're in the city during the season!

Yelp
I got a bit lost on my way here (you have to walk down a dark cobblestone alley) but this night market was quite fun! I didn't get any of the drinks, but it looked like there were almost as many drink vendors as food vendors. I got the pulled pork quesadilla, which made a great lighter meal. It was quite flavorful and loaded with cheese, meat, and guacamole. I got to the market around 10pm, and it had a decent sized crowd. Unfortunately, a few tables had small piles of trash already (not the market's fault but a little disappointed of the other customers).

Yelp
This place is just awesome. Great food in a cool, rough and industrial atmosphere. Its an old railway station centerally located between plac zawisle and Rondo Daszynskiego. There is a great variety of food, from pork sandwiches, burgers, kimchi, sushi, also sweet treats like waffles or ice cream. For drinking there are some booths für craft beers or wines. The selection is great but the amount of booths is to fes so there are long queses for drinks, but its absolutely worth it. The place opens just on the weekends from friday to sunday night from 5 P.M. until the end of September as far as I know. So hurry up to dive into Warsaws great alternative food culture and get insipred by the atmosphere and taste, scents and impressions of this cool place.

Yelp
In my opinion this is the place Warsaw was missing for a long time. It is open from Friday till Sunday in the evening hours only. Beside food you will find there also a DJ playing live music and a martini bar with drinks. Also every week there is a different tattoo artist so you can also get a great tattoo in between trying different dishes. We tried a couple of things. Dogidog - classic hot dog, for me one of the best I have ever had. It was like haven to me. Great bun, sausage was made with good quality meat and toppings were great. They also have two more options but a bit more extravagant with cherries or Kim chi. Asian food foundation - if you like Asian food you have try Laksa soup they make. It is delicious, hearty and full of flavors! Momo - dumplings, we had turkey and also tried shrimp. In my opinion they are delicious but shrimp was my winner :) Gruzja - chaczapuri is something I always like to have! Theirs was very good! Although it is not the best I had. Still worth trying.

Yelp
if you are in Warsaw for weekend looking for good food and great atmosphere - Nocny Market is the place to be! Amazing! Neon lights, DJ, deck chairs. That's all you need. I love the idea of gathering different cuisines in one place so you can have cooking journey in your city. We got there after 7pm and stayed more than few hours so we could try some of this and some of that: 1. Laksa (Asian Food Foundation).this soup is so flavorful that I wish portion was bigger. Probably the best of the best for me. Spicy, tasteful- AMAZING! 2. Whiskey Sour (Martini Bar) - mnaim! every time it looked a little different but all of them were good. 3. Bánh cun (Viet Street Food) - hmm.. I don't know what to say.. I expected something else. Take Banh gio instead. 4. Chaczapuri (Restauracja Gruzja) those Georgian yeast cakes stuffed with cheese are delicious. Loved it! 5. Momo dumplings (Momo - Smak Kuchnia Tybetanska) - it's hard for me to decide if I liked shrimp or turkey better. Both were very good. Steamed dumplings with hot sauce. mniam! 6. Dogidog (Dogidog) - this place is taking hot dogs to higher level. OMG! Awesome! 7. Mango Doughnut (MOD) - I love doughnuts. Tried so many in my life. This one was a little bit better than one from Dunkin Doughnuts, but far from real, fluffy piece of heaven. Mango topping was very good. That's the beauty of Nocny Market - you can spend there your whole night and eat and eat and eat. Can't wait for the next weekend - thats a place I definitly want to visit as I heard that every time they have diffrent food. Enjoy!

Yelp
This is a great place to grab (more than) a bite to eat, a drink and relax. The variety of food can be overwhelming, but luckily if you bring a large appetite, choosing shouldn't be a problem! While seating may be difficult to find as it gets more crowded, it doesn't ruin the experience - the food is still great and the atmosphere is amazing. I opted for tacos al pastor from Taco Libre, which were more pricey than other places in Warsaw but it's what you would expect. The habanero salsa that I accompanied them with was perfect, but maybe too spicy for most. I also bought a hot dog, which exceeded expectations with really delicious toppings. I wanted to try so many other things, but unfortunately I was already full; however, I'd love to come back!

Yelp
This place was really cool! As a tourist, it was really fun to be at a place where lots of locals were. I found it on Facebook events, and my husband and I made the trek - it was worth it! Tons of individual vendors, lots of food, drinks and stuff to choose from. There was even a barber shop! Definitely recommend.
