We had the best time at this hotel on our first visit to Japan. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and enjoyed the coin machine. We won a free drink which was fun. The staff were very friendly as is the norm in Japan but the reception staff helped us in lots of little ways eg helping when our case was broken and lending us a charger for our phone. We hired bicycles for the day which was a fab way to get to the park and explore the river. The room was lovely with cool speakers and the shower was very powerful, we loved the shampoo and were pleased that we could buy some to take home. The Japanese shampoo was like magic in a bottle, my hair has never felt so soft. We had a great pizza in the restaurant on one of the evenings and the staff were very friendly. A lovely Italian member of the serving team treated us very well and was very passionate about the food. We left having thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

I loved this hotel, though the priciest one we stayed in while in Japan, for the price ($385/night) I wish the room was bigger (we barely fit with our luggage). We booked it since every twin room was nearly booked in Tokyo. That being said they pump in a lovely smell into the room, it was so lovely walking in to it. The amenities were so nice (large refillable, but I wish they had a body lotion as well), and the scent was a custom scent for the hotel we ended up buying bottles for home. Location was the best, there is so much to eat and see in Akihabara, and metro is also close by. Breakfast was the best I had in a hotel, what would make it better is a latte machine (they only had regular drip coffee). The food was so fresh, and every day you had a new style of egg to eat. One minor annoyance was the elevator always stopped at the second floor because reception is on it. The restaurant on the ground floor was also good and very convenient when you first arrive and aren't sure where to eat or are jet lagged from the flight.

I am going to rate the restaurant. The welcome chips are delicious and so is the peach with mascarpone. The salads are good and the desserts too. Pizzas are a bit mediocre. We didn't like the ceviche at all. We found it quite expensive for what it is. The place is very nice and the attention is correct.

Here on business for a week and overall quite enjoyed my stay. Rooms are small and seriously short of clothing storage space- if you’re here for a night no problem but I ended up laying out all my clothes on the settee, corner table and by the side of the tv! However comfy room, nice shower room and quiet throughout the night.|Downstairs the reception is very a very slick operation with staff who speak English, very friendly and professional. Another floor down is the very busy restaurant which again has some great multilingual staff. If you are on your own as I was it is impossible to get a table for one in the restaurant- one of the servers told me straight, singletons not welcomed at tables but you can sit at the bar if you wish to eat. First time in my lifetime of travelling that this has happened to me.|At breakfast you are allowed to sit at a table and the spread is pretty good, no problem there.|The hotel is situated in central Akihabara and is a five minute walk from the railway station. You are surrounded by many bars and restaurants that fortunately welcome single travellers so I found several places I frequented during my stay.|All in all this is a nice hotel but if it could provide a nicer welcome to single travellers, would elevate its status to international visitors.

Overall we enjoyed out stay although there were some small issues. The location is great, close to Akihabara but still quiet, close to transit and restaurants. The rooms are nicely designed, such as using smaller garbage cans that fit into unused areas to help maximize the space available. However there were a few smaller issues that added up to an imperfect experience. The rooms are quite expensive for what they are. They’re nice, but nothing too special, and still very small compared to other budget options, so I’m not sure the extra cost is worth it. You have to enter through a restaurant, and although the staff was always happy to see us, it still felt a bit awkward. Finally, we stayed for 7 nights with two rooms, and when asked for a late check out on the final day were allowed at a cost of about $25 per hour. Although this was their standard policy, it felt like the staff should be allowed flexibility from this, as we had spent a significant amount of money that this smaller fee could have been waived, especially at a premium hotel. Those are the small details that help make a stay feel special, so it was disappointing to pay that.

Rooms are moderately more expensive than business hotel but also moderately larger. Make sure to keep the shower door closed! Otherwise, the water will evaporate and make the room humid. There is an attached pizzeria cafe that seems decent, but given the plethora of food options, I always went out to find restaurants.

Really liked my stay at this hotel; in the midst of Akihabara, but tucked away just enough to be a chill port in the storm. Very friendly staff, many of whom had very good English (and all of them tolerated my very basic Japanese!). Breakfast was delicious, and I HIGHLY recommend the lemon sour special in the bar downstairs. おいしい~ 共ありがとうございます!

We recently stayed at NOHGA Hotel Akihabara Tokyo and had a fantastic experience! The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special, particularly for my son’s birthday. The arrangements they made were thoughtful and greatly appreciated, adding a lovely touch to our celebration. The staff at NOHGA are incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted us with restaurant reservations, ensuring we had a delightful dinner without any hassle. This kind of service really makes a difference when you’re in a big city like Tokyo. The room, while small, was well-appointed and comfortable. Given the location in the heart of Tokyo, the room size was understandable and well-suited for our needs. What really stood out to us was the excellent water pressure in the shower—it was perfect after a long day of exploring the city! Overall, our stay at NOHGA Hotel Akihabara Tokyo was memorable for all the right reasons. We truly appreciated the attentive service and the efforts made to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay in Tokyo. Thank you, NOHGA Hotel, for your exceptional hospitality!
