Made my first visit to Noir Collective the other day and felt energized the moment I walked in the door. The gallery is a vital addition to Asheville's art scene and to the cultural importance of The Block, as well as a lively, lovely place to shop. Another reviewer mentioned the inviting energy, and I can attest to that, starting with Alexandria's welcoming presence. I came home with a pair of earrings and a fluorite prism, both priced very reasonably.

I was in Ashville for the birthday celebration, which had me and my 10 friends touring and participating in experiences that spoke specifically to the black experience in Asheville. Alexandria, the owner of Noir Collective AVL, was extremely welcoming, which made our time in her store all the more special. Everyone looked and brought something out of this excellent spot, including art, jewelry, books, t-shirts, hats, etc., that reflects the creativity of the artisans she showcases. Not only is this cool storefront a must-see but it is also located on "The Block," a historical site in itself. When I return to Asheville, I'll be back at Noir Collective AVL.

Beautiful! We were there as part of HoodHuggers tour. The store has a little bit of everything! And I wanted to buy it all!! Was able to go to the beautiful art show next door and it was breathtaking!! Will keep this on my list of shops for the holidays!

On April 29th me and my line sisters celebrated our 25th anniversary in Asheville. We discovered Noir Collective AVL because we wanted to support a black owned business. We all loved the shop; it is a vibe! Thank you for the great customer service. We will be back one day!

Noir Collective!!!!! This is by far my favorite place to shop and even just go hang out, in ALL OF ASHEVILLE! The Owner Alexandria, and her husband David, are phenomenal individuals and they are the true gold in Asheville! Shop here for things you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIND ANYWHERE ELSE. Organic skin care & body care products. AMAZING Paintings by local BLACK ARTISTS. The atmosphere = flawless and you feel like family NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE, WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE, OR YOUR BACKGROUND. You always have space and a place at Noir Collective. Noir Collective is the people's place 🤎 Support true local business and initiative that is for the people, benefits the people, and looks after THE PEOPLE!

Alexandria is the perfect fit for her work at this spot - such a warm and thoughtful presence! This is a great place to shop for gifts, for good reads, and for yourself.
