Noix de Coco

We can't express how happy we are to have found this place. We didn't want to stay at a huge resort so we chose Noix de coco and our holidays in Mauritius couldnt have been better. The room was basic but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served on the balcony overlooking the beautiful garden and the ocean. After traveling across the country during our stay, we can safely say that the beach right in front of the hotel is the most beautiful in Mauritius. With not a single soul in sight. Just incredible. Also there are other beautiful beaches and lagoons in walking our biking distance. The next town with a nice market as well.||||The staff is great and the owners are nice people as well. We gave them some leftovers we cooked one evening and the next evening they invited us to dinner in their living room downstairs, where we had a great time with them and their friends.||||If you want to experience the REAL Mauritius and not just the inside of a huge resort, then stay at Noix de coco! We would definitely stay here again!

It is an excellent place (guesthouse style) if you really want to rest and enjoy the ocean the white sand beaches and nature. Breakfast includes: fruits, local tea (I loved it) and/or coffee, recently baked bread (also delicious) and homemade marmalade (honestly I even asked if I could buy a pot of pinnaple marmelade to take home, and it was possible). The rooms are clean, spacious, the kitchen is clean and everything is peaceful. Except for blue lagoon (a MUST in Mauritius) there are not many activities to do near this zone, (not many restaurants, bars...) its just to rest and relax...

I truly recommend the place. We ve been there (2 adults and 2 kids) for almost three weeks in May 2018. The place is great. They have nice green garden just next to the one of the best beach on Mauritius (we saw most of them on Mauritius so I can confirm:) ), just few meters from garden. The beach, long and wide, with white sand, clean, not crowded, with turquoise water. Save for kids since its not deep. 200m right and you have nice reef with colourful fishes just 3 meters from the beach – easily accessible for kids. The rooms are really nice, clean – they clean every day. Nice balcony with a beach view where you can eat breakfast. The service is very nice. Stephanie is very helpful, will help you arrange all activities, check prices, make the reservations. Thanks Stephanie :). Corinne cooks great so you can, on particular days, order sth for lunch – local cuisine, really a lot:). Breakfast continental, sweet jams, yogurts with lot of fresh fruits, coffee and tea – its really enough but if you want to break the taste – like we did – just buy some eggs, sausages etc. in supermarket and you'e done – you can keep it in fridge. The owners are really friendly, the family atmosphere:) my kids and we love them:). We hope to be back there soon - great memories:) Cant wait to visit you again:) Wish all the best.

Warm, welcoming and hospitable. Rooms although basic are large, comfortable and clean, perfect if you are not expecting 5 star accommodation. Idyllic location with direct access to the beach away from major tourist areas to get a genuine Mauritian experience. Seems like once you have stayed at Noix de Coco, you keep on going back.

We have chosen by chance but liked a lot the house and the way it was managed. Even though we had the room by the road, didn'hear any noises except during the day.|We enjoyed a lot the meals around the table and will be coming back to this point not only for the guesthouse but also one of the best beaches -at 50 mt- in Mauritius Island. The only improvment is the slowness of the wifi connection. We definitely recommend.

My wife and I booked a short stay at the 'Noix De Coco' Bed & Breakfast, on the Coastal Road, in Pointe D'Esny, Mauritius, from the 27 April to the 4th May, 2013.||This is not the first time that we book there and every time we have stayed there (leisure or business), it has been the best part of our trip!||The surroundings are magnificent, the staff simply sublime, the facility extremely comfortable and the peace and quietness is just what you look for when you want to relax totally!||Not withstanding the fact that it is situated on a pristine beach, on a strip of seashore that is completely private (no hawkers and undesirables, only the local residents are on the beach!!), Noix De Coco is owned by Dorette Talbot and run by Davina, who go out of their way to make your stay special. ||This is a real piece of Paradise, not to be missed!

family atmosphere, well cared for, friendly staff. located in front of the sea with a beautiful white Coral Beach. Easy to make friends with the guests of the House. exceptional

Good tourist accommodation with access to kitchen, and right on the beach. Well suite if you are on transit in Mauritius for a night or two.
