On my first visit here, we blindly walked in hoping for a table but they were completely full. After being turned away, we came back a week later with reservations. Make sure you make reservations, which get filled up quick as well. And let me start by telling you that the reservations to eat here is damn worth it!
Upon entering, the space is quite limited with seating, but decorated very classy and nice. It has a bit of an old school charm about it. As soon as we were seated, our glasses were filled with water. Might I add, they were amazing at refilling our water throughout dinner.
Between the two of us, we shared the Beauty Crab (£6.95) to start. I was immediately drawn to this appetizer from the presentation from photos. The best part is that not only was the crab stuffed curry in a crispy roll beautifully done, it was even more delicious! The three savory cones also had a nice kick of spice, crunch, and flavor making an amazing combination. We also shared two entrees: Chicken Panang Curry (£10.95) with Jasmine Rice (£2.95) and King Prawn Pad Thai (£11.95). If you made me decide which one I liked more, I truly couldn't even pick. Both dishes were divine and truly authentic to Thai cuisine. I have to say that the Pad Thai is an absolute must here for the exquisite presentation from the banana leaves to the flower-shaped carrots. This is the level of quality you find at Chinese weddings from the way they handcrafted the edible decors on each plate.
Definitely one of my favorites in Edinburgh. While it's a tad pricier than other Thai spots in the area, the quality and craftsmanship of the food makes this place worthwhile.
