What a fun surprise. Stumbled upon this place and loved it. Joanna our server was amazing!!!! She was entertaining, knowledgeable about the menu, and very easy to ask questions to. I wish she served us the entire time. That would be the only complaint. Fried pickles … amen! And the ribs (with a dry rub) were FAB! Would definitely recommend this fun place. I love tapas but this unexpected break from tapas was a lovely surprise! 😋

This place is amazing. The food is really good and be ready to be full because the portions are very large. I tried for the first time in my life fried pickles and I loved them.

I had made reservations weeks before for dinner via WhatsApp. When we arrived they sat us at a dirty table. When we told our waiter he proceeded to wipe down the table with a filthy rag which smelled horrible, like a sour dirty mop. We used our hand sanitizer and some napkins to clean the table while waiting for them to return once again to clean the table. Not a great first impression. They quickly asked us for our drink order yet failed to show us a menu. Then took a long time to bring our drinks and take our order. They did not have apple juice for a minor nor bottled water so I left the restaurant and walked to a convenience store a block away to purchase these items. The food was not impressive. The nachos were dry, cold and hard. My steak despite having a chimichurri sauce was bland. The ceviche was also lacking spice and flavor. The wait staff was slow and seemed annoyed upon asking for anything. It was also very loud and hard to hold a conversation. They also wanted to charge me for the tap water they bottled in house which we did not drink and finally removed from our bill. I really wanted to like this place but left unimpressed and disappointed.

Just wow! Honestly most amazing food I’ve ever had. The duck dumplings were the highlight, literally exploded with flavour whilst still tasting the gorgeous duck. We also got the lamb kofta & the satay prawns - both were elite, I’ve never experienced satay prawns before & it was the best first impression I could ask for. The waiter/spice expert Pablo made our experience even better, genuinely had the best time & we will probably annoy our friends with how much we will talk about this place.

Wait staff weren’t super accommodating bar one and took a drinks order without showing us a menu. Food was good especially the mussels. If you ordered a few dishes it would become quite pricey. Definitely book if you want to sit outside it is a lovely little garden area.

Top notch soul food tapas in Palma! Keanu is a kind and hilarious server who brought warmth and attention to our multiple experiences there. The corn ribs are kick beep and the pulled pork ribs are a must have. Spicy margaritas complement the Creole meets Spanish flavours beautifully! Embrace dirty fingers at this Santa Catalina favourite!

Great for a get-together or a hangout. I thought the fried pickles were new. everything else in terms of taste and quality requires refinement. The place atmosphere sells it all... i would go again.

Yelp
My boyfriend, sister and I had arrived in Palma rather late and were looking for a restaurant still serving food when we stumbled across Nola. Honestly, it was such a pleasant surprise. The menu wasn't overly extensive, which I prefer. I'd like to think that it gives the chef the ability to perfect each dish with the best quality local produce. Unfortunately, given our late arrival three dishes were no longer available. Nonetheless, what was available was absolutely delicious. The mussels were unbelievably good, I only wish it was served with some bread to soak up the heavenly broth left behind. Everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals, the friendly staff, the trendy interior and the reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend Nola to others.
