Nomad Beach Bar & Restaurant

Came to Nomad for lunch whilst staying 10 minutes up the road. I ordered the chicken katsu sandwich and my wife had chicken skewers. The food was amazing, my sandwich came with fries and was a meal. Portions were perfect. The quality of the food was superb and reasonably priced. The location is idyllic. Looking out over the ocean as the tide was on the way in just showed off the 50 different shades of blue there seemed to be. The only reason I knocked a star off was that our waiter wasn’t too bothered about service. Other waiters were cheery and bang on, I just think ours may have been having an ‘off’ day but that’s shouldn’t by any means put you off going. It’s worth it, just for the view! Try to time it so you’re there at low tide or as it’s on the turn because when it’s fully in it’s a bit rough so for those Gram/ TT pics, go when it’s out and the colours are amazing.

Nomad Beach Bar and Restaurant has a nice setting, but the service was extremely slow and disappointing several times. We ordered a few drinks and it took more than 45 minutes to prepare twice although the restaurant was not busy. The smoothie was more a juice and the lime juice was warm and not good. So we decided not dine at the restaurant but instead order the food directly to our villa at the hotel. This was a big difference - with everything being nice. I would recommend to maintain the same standard of service even if a guest is not staying at the hotel.

We had such a wonderful time here! The food was delicious — the pizza especially was amazing. Sitting by the ocean with that beautiful view made everything even better. The staff were so kind and welcoming, which really made the experience special. Can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant is in a great location, accessed through a jungle right on the beach. The menu has a wide selection, the cuisine is international. The food was delicious, but nothing special. The service was not friendly at all, the prices are quite high.

Food was absolutly great. Delicious, well presented. Nice seaview, quiet place. Pleasant atmosphere, perfect service. All was great!

First morning at Diani and went for breakfast at this lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. We had crepes with mixed fruit with honey and i had a lovely Kenyan ginger tea which was very refreshing. Great place for breakfast 🙏🏾

Place has a good seaview and good ice-cream that's it. Food was completely unseasoned despite how good it looks. Especially the calamari completely tasteless. They were about to be charge me entrance fee but didn't when they saw my demeanour change. Extremely expensive for low quality food.
