I heard about this place during the croissant crawl. This was a special trip I took to drive across the bridge to check out the hype.
I was disappointed 😞. We got there relatively early (around 10:00 am), there wasn't much pastries left, but certainly not a selection of savory pastries either. The latte was nice, but the hojicha was rather light with a lot of milk. The almond croissant was really good, flakey and not too sweet. The cinnamon croffle was also very delicious.
I understand that this is a environmental friendly place, but it's hard to find things in there. We had a hard time finding the sugar, on a counter, in a jar, but hidden in a bucket. When I had to ask where I could find the sugar, it felt like I was troubling the staff.
All in all, I feel that pastries are good, but this seems to be a cafe is geared to their regulars only.
