I've only worked with one other company, Atlas Medstaff, and they were awesome.
Nomad is a great fit if you're competent, independent, and want to make more money. All of the travelers I work with will obviously compare salaries and I am consistently about $300-400 more per week than they are.
There is a reason for that. Other companies like Aya heavily subsidize the health insurance and that money has to come from somewhere.
Also, the recruiters skim some off the top. And you don't know how much. That seems a bit shady to me.
So, if you're not dependent on health insurance, and you prefer a more transparent model with better pay, I think Nomad stands out as a clear winner.
I still have recruiters that call me and offer contracts, but they are never as high as nomad. Maybe that will change in the future, but for now, Nomad is the clear winner.
