My family and I just returned from a magical 8 day Serengeti Safari. If you are looking to do a Safari, this is the company to pick.
Our guide Paul was so kind, incredibly knowledgable and an amazing animal spotter. He went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and had the opportunity to see ALL the animals of this amazing place. We were so lucky to see baby cheetahs, baby lions, two leopards, several massive families of elephants, countless, hippos, flamingoes...and even a black rhino about 30m away!!!
Each of the 'camps' we stayed at were so much more luxurious than I could have expected. I don't want to call them 'camps' because they were to nice. The staff at each accommodation location were superb. I also can not speak highly enough of the food. There were many options at all meals and everything was so delicious.
I was also impressed by the location and views of each camp. At our Ngorongoro camp we were able to sit in our room in the morning and watch giraffes and zebras walk by the window. At our Southern Serengeti camp we got to see baboons running over the large rocks in the distance. And at the Northern Serengeti camp we watched hundreds of wildebeests graze in the meadow from the balcony.
On top of all of this, Nomad clearly cares about its staff and the surrounding communities. The team of people we met will stay in our hearts. What a great company.
