Nomads Airlie Beach Hostel

Good hostel in a great location. Bar and restaurant on site was great with different events going on. Stayed in a private room which was plenty big and had a kitchenette and outdoor seating. Pools were really nice also. Only negative was feeling pressured by some of the staff to book tours with them, it was very “car salesmen” vibes. We ended up booking our tours on our own because it turned us off to book with them.

Rida was great at reception. Location is brilliant short walk to everything important. Noise levels were acceptable, got a great night's sleep in both camping area in tent as well as a private room. Comfy bed. Clean shared toilets/showers. Overall surprisingly good experience for budget accommodation. Would book again.

The 5 stars are all for Pepe who helped us a lot during our stay, making us feel at ease and booking us into the best scenic flight tour☺️ the campground is very nice and clean as well. Just one thing to be aware of, as it is unclear on the confirmation email. If you want to cancel a reservation, it needs to be done 24 hours prior to check in date, not 24 hours prior to check in time. We tried to cancel one night, and we did so before 3pm of the day before check in, but we were told it was already too late to be refunded even if we had a flexible rate. Overall it was a nice experience and we would definitely be back if ever in Airlie again ☺️

We were welcomed quiet friendly by the nice receptionists Zara and Elli and even got handed some free vouchers for the bar nearby. Both of them made this stay a lot more pleasant as they always smiled at us, when we entered the hostel probably a dozen times a day. Frfr slaying. The rooms are pretty spacious and tidy. You can tell that they are quite new and don’t lack anything. Really felt comfortable. Thanks to the whole team keeping this place running ;)

A great place to stay in Airlie Beach! The staff really made the difference — Pepe even offered me mate, which instantly made me feel at home. The team at the tour desk was super helpful in guiding me to choose the best excursions. My room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect to relax after a day of exploring.

Beautiful place, almost like a resort! Perfect location near the beach and city center. Staff at reception were super friendly and helpful. Fair prices — I’ll definitely be back!

Our stay was unfortunately ruined by an unacceptable incident. At 1 a.m. the hostel security woke us up by banging on our car, demanding a vehicle card that had never been provided to us at check-in. The situation was unpleasant, invasive, and completely unprofessional. On a positive note, I would like to highlight Pepe at reception, who apologized sincerely and treated us exceptionally well during our two-day stay. His kindness and professionalism really stood out. However, the behavior of the security staff is something that should never happen in an accommodation of this level. Management urgently needs to review how their security team handles guests.

Noah is a great guy, available and attentive. I truly appreciated his advice, relevant and easy to apply. He's a real goldmine of information. You can tell he enjoys what he does. Thank à lot Noah. Can't recommend him enough
