Nomads Airlie Beach Hostel

I had an amazing stay at Nomads Hostel in Airlie Beach! The atmosphere was lively, social, and perfect for meeting new people, and the facilities were clean and well-kept throughout my stay. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Airlie Beach, close to everything you need. A special shout-out to Luca at reception. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely went out of his way to help with anything I needed. Whether it was answering questions, giving recommendations, or just offering great vibes, Luca made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend staying here—I’ll definitely be back! 🌟🌴

The place was super great! It was really clean, centrally located, and they had 2 pools which were really nice to lay out during stinger season. There are tons of cafes nearby and everyone was so nice. Saray checked me in and she was wonderful!

The location of the hostel is perfect - you can walk quickly anywhere and it’s clean and fully equipped. Also, the service is great. Especially Sarah at the front desk could help me out with my luggage!

We really enjoyrd out stay over New years! It was so nice and the service was lovely. We booked the skydive through the hostel and everything just worked out really well. Thank you to Saray for helping us out!☺️

I can’t understand the good reviews at all. The campsite amenities are dirty and run down. I saw nobody cleaning the amenities. I can not understand for what you pay the money. The campsite are very small. You have not even space to sit next to your van. We needed to change the site to get a little more space. This was well managed by the reception. The restaurant is unbelievable loud, extremely full with drunken backpackers and you could not even get a seat. The only reason I give 2 star is the friendly staff at the front desk. I guess we might be not the target group. We are in our mid 30’s. If you are 18-25 years old, you may like it and don’t care.

I had an amazing experience in Nomads! Everything was perfect: the room, the pool, the mood in the hostel. Everyone was so friendly and especially Luca at the reception who was always here to help with anything! Thank you guys, I’ll come back!!

I stayed at Nomads in Airlie Beach and had the chance to try both the camping area and the hostel rooms – and I really enjoyed both experiences. The activities offered by the hostel are great and I especially loved the volleyball tournament. 🏐 The staff made my stay even better, as everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Ellis and Bella at the reception and to Valentina who organized the activities – you all made me feel so welcome! 💚💚 I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Airlie Beach. I had such a great time there and would happily come back again. 🌞

really enjoyed my stay here! The hostel is super clean, cozy, and has a chill vibe. Brian and Mille were awesome — really friendly and always happy to help. They gave me great tips about the area and made me feel totally at home. Would definitely stay here again!

Nomads Airlie Beach is a nice backpack with a big camping area. 8 beds dorms or king bed rooms. There is a shower in every rooms and amenities for the camping. A kitchen, TV room, laundry and bar are available for everyone. Happy hours from 4pm to 6pm and 7pm to 9pm at the Shed Bar!

Meh. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. I also don't understand why the kitchen was SO FAR from the rooms. Don't even get me started on how you have to hire literally everything from reception. Knife, cutting board, pots, pans. Why?!!! The day I checked in I had just gotten off the night bus and it was 10am. I couldn't check in until 2pm, which is fine and pretty standard. However I was exhausted. By the time 2pm finally rolled around and I get to my room.... The room is filthy. All the beds still unmade. That's fine and all if they're busy, but don't check me into a room that isn't ready. At least there was AC.
