Yelp
If you're looking for extremely authentic, mom and pop style Chinese food, the Noodle Exchange is probably not your best bet. However, with that being said, if you're looking for decent tasting, well priced, semi- Americanized Chinese food, than this place should be OK. It's located inside the Gold Coast, immediately to your left if you are going through the main entrance (across from Ping Pang Pong).
We visited on a Monday afternoon and were quickly seated and taken care of. Service from staff was very good, and our food was also delivered quickly. Their menu consists of many selections, but we ordered from the Lunch Specials.
Our order consisted of:
1. Crispy Fish- very lightly fried fish with sauce on the side. This was actually the best tasting dish and it was quite good. Not too greasy.
2. Sweet and Sour Chicken- fried chicken pieces with sauce on top. It was very sweet, but overall not bad. Didn't feel too heavy.
3. Mongolian beef -slightly spicy, heavily sauced. Tasted OK.
(All three came with egg drop soup, fried rice, and a spring roll, which were all average)
4. Dan Dan noodles - we were hoping for some authentic style noodles, but the texture was way too mushy. Flavor was actually not bad, but the bowl seemed like a pile of mush.
Prices were good, considering we ordered the lunch specials.
