Noodle Factory Life

We order chilled (cold) ramen. Both are very refreshing. The ramen texture is sticky which is really good. The place serve cozy vibes suitable for group of 2-4 ppl. The ramen is something that neat and craft something new taste rather than traditional way.

Good vegan ramen. A must try. Soup was very tasty and noodles was good too. Too bad there was no eggs available that day

Delicious vegan soup! We got the vegan tantan noodle soup. Amazingly inexpensive flavorful vegan option. We ordered one with egg, and two with spicy sauce, mushroom and garlic (order through a computer in the front.) Counter seating for 6, plus 2 small tables. Open late!

YOU HAVE GOT TO COME AND EAT THE PORK RAMEN! 🍜 The couple that owns the place are so kind, the place is nice and clean, the food comes quick and you will hardly want to leave. Great options for toppings, there’s VEGAN 🌱 option too!

※With 5★ being the highest rating 【Overall】★ 【Food】★★ My order: Tantanmen and tonkotsu ramen The Tonkotsu ramen was okay with its clear broth, but apart from that there was nothing else special. It lacked depth of flavor and was ultimately underwhelming. The Tantanmen was truly disappointing. It was bland and lacked the characteristic spicy and nutty flavors usually expected from this dish. In picture it looks promising but cannot say it was tasty at all. Overall the portion was quite small for the amount of money you pay for 【Service】★ The owner was incredibly unfriendly. He didn't greet us upon entering and instead of approaching us to take our order, he demanded that we speak louder behind the cooking counter, making us feel uncomfortable. We understand that it’s a one man operation but if the owner were a bit more friendly towards guests it would improve the experience tremendously. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Noodle Factory Life. The poor service and underwhelming food do not warrant a return visit. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a satisfying ramen experience in Beppu.

The tantanmen, both vegan and classic are fantastic! Not only spicy, but flavorful as well ^^. Maybe a tiny bit small of a portion, but thats for my german stomach, you will have to see for yourself (^-^)

I had the vegan ramen, and the broth is literally some of the best I’ve ever had. (I’m vegetarian, so I’m only comparing it to other vegan/vegetarian ramen I’ve had.) You order via a machine in front of the shop with English as a language option. The only thing to note is that the user interface and experience for the payment portion is confusing.

Came here for the vegan ramen after reading reviews here and was not disappointed. Best I’ve tried in Japan by a looooong way! Wish I could come here every day
