Came here for lunch with my family, and the food really hits home - and it is really authentic Asian cuisine. We had beef noodles, Deep fried chicken with rice and Three Treasures Fried Rice. They were excellent and our kids finished the adult portions, which says a lot about the quality of the food. Their curated beer is also excellent , and definitely worth trying! It's a unique brew that (IMO) really can make a mark in the beer scene, especially when compared to what I've had over a week here in Norway. Lastly, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and my family and I had a great time here. Would recommend this place ! Give it a try!

We had a wonderful dinning experience at Lai by noodle noodle. The ambience was cozy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The head chef came out to interact with us and gave us more detail knowledge about our dishes. My favourite dish was the roasted duck which was a stand out, it was perfectly cooked with homemade sauce.I would give it a five star and would definitely come back.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding – every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The wine selection was excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I truly felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. Highly recommended!

A fantastic Asian dining experience in the heart of Stavanger! We tried the iconic sharing menu. Each tapas-style dish was bursting with flavor, from salmon sashimi to aromatic duck. Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Special thanks to owner Gary and talented chef Eirikur. A perfect evening!

Only thing bringing it down is the price on some of the dishes. Strongly reccomend it to (if you select a dish. And dont get the variety pack (or whatever its called) as thats the pricy one to not too much food.

Yelp
Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience here and it was our last night after 10 days in Norway. The restaurant itself was well decorated and had a nice atmosphere but the menu provided very limited options outside of the pricey sharing menu. We also found that one of the menus we had had lower prices than the rest. We had a vegetarian in our group and there were no main meal vegetarian options without doing the full sharing menu. When asked if she could order one vegetarian dish from the sharing menu, the waitress told her she thought that wouldn't be a problem and then returned and said it was not an option. When I asked if I could sample their house beer before ordering it, the waitress said she would check and returned and said she couldn't provide a sample. One person in my group ordered the Oolong Negroni drink and it was the smallest drink pouring I've ever seen for 168NOK (over $15). It had a huge ice cube in the middle and quite literally 2 sips of the drink. We were not sure we'd be able to find something for everyone to eat so we held off on ordering while the rest of the group drank their beers. The manager came over and we shared our concerns and she immediately became extremely rude and sarcastic, and said "Welcome to Norway," this is how things are done around here, which was interesting after having gone to dozens of restaurants in Norway and never having this kind of experience. She made no attempt to be understanding or accommodating. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave and she continued to be over-the-top sarcastic with us as we were leaving.

Yelp
Solid Asian inspired food in a colorful hip setting. The beef brisket noodle soup was quite good. The beef was tender though just slightly on the dry side. The pork jiaozi dumplings were average, though the plating was beautiful. This restaurant has an extensive wine list. So, come thirsty! I'd recommend a visit if you're ever in the Stavanger area and looking for some Asian cuisine.

Yelp
Sondre and I had just played a weekend of festivals and I decided to take a solo trip to Stavanger. I wanted to hike PREIKESTOLEN and I also needed 2 more flights to get GOLD status with SAS, soooooo.....no brainer. I loved the hike and only had 2 hours of free time before I needed to get back to the airport. I was still wearing my hiking shorts and certainly didn't look "presentable" for a fancy restaurant, but these guys at Noodle, Noodle created an atmosphere that makes every one feel welcome. It's cozy, clean, and JUST fancy enough where you can waltz in wearing sneakers and a tank top without getting any side-eye. I always feel rude letting the server know that I'm in a rush, so I generally don't say anything and just roll the dice. Luckily, the gentleman who took my order had it fired up right away, and the woman who brought my piping hot meal to the table appeared within 15 minutes. I was amazed! It's not fast food, but the food came out fast and it was incredibly delicious with thoughtful plating to boot. Something worth mentioning is that the server confirmed that my dish was vegan without me having to ask. Which is always reassuring to hear. I highly recommend Noodle Noodle for ANY one who appreciates service with a smile, delicious food, and a cozy ambience. I made it back to the airport in time and arrived in Bergen with a full belly and my new SAS GOLD CARD BABY!

Yelp
Imagine our surprise to find a noodle house in downtown Stavanger that sold ramen and tonkatsu! Very authentic menu. I loved the funky decor with the backs of the chairs having random faces. Our waitress was nice and never let our water glasses get too low. I saw the owner and he seemed like a nice, passionate guy as I could overhear him talking to customers. You could tell he takes great pride in his restaurant! My dining partner went with the brisket ramen while I, of course, couldn't resist the tonkatsu. He also tried a local beer that appeared to be made for the restaurant and featured hibiscus as the main ingredient. It was such a hit that he had two and was sad he couldn't visit the brewery on this trip. I went with the tea and it was super hot. Burnt my tongue as I wasn't patient enough. I loved the flower that expanded from a tight ball and looked beautiful by the end of my tea. The brisket ramen was good. The real winner was the tonkatsu. Lovely broth and so good when you have a sore throat. The eggs were fantastic. Meat was so nice and tender. The noodles were the only thing that I didn't love as they tasted over boiled and were a bit clumpy but overall it was a very nice dish, comparable to authentic places I've been to in the US.

Yelp
Worst service ever. If there's negative star, I'll rate it First of all, racist!! When we came in the restaurant, two of us chose a corner table which could possibly sit three people. The waitress ask us to take the table next it saying that table is only for three (same size table). 10 mins later two white guys came and they're happily guided to the three seater table ??? Secondly, they forgot my dish and lied to us that it is hard to cook. I ordered a Vietnamese dry noodle and until my friend finish her dish they haven't served mine. I asked the waitress to check and she came back saying the sauce is difficult to prepare. So my dish is late. Seriously? Prepare a sauce for an hour? It is ok waitress forgot orders sometimes, but it is not ok to lie to customer!! Ten minutes after I asked them to check, I was about to leave, and the waitress came to my table with the dish and saying you can go if you want, REALLY rude. So I left with a starving stomach after a full day hiking. Can't rate the food. Never had it This restaurant totally ruined my last night at Stavanger.

Yelp
This was my first eating out experience in Stavanger and it did not disappoint. I did have to wait a while to get my food and there was only one other table of ppl. I will be going back! I'm already craving some more!

Yelp
Very glad I tried this noodle place. Comfortable atmosphere with a modern feel. The menu isn't pages long, but doesn't need to be. I only had one dish, the Szechuan Lamb with Noodles, but it was excellent. High quality ingredients, and amazing flavor. I've not had real Szechuan peppers in a long time. I was hoping this would deliver and it did. I just love the tingly warming feeling and unique flavor that comes from them. The lamb was sliced thin and very tender. I finished with a mango dessert that was perfect to settle my mouth down after the great main. I will be back to try their bao buns and back again to try the rest of the menu.

Yelp
I would give it 6 stars if I can. I just came back from Pulpit rock hiking and was longing for warm, homestyle broth. Yelp said this was the only Asian noodle specialty restaurant and I decided I would give it ago. II don't think it's a super authentic Asian place but food was still excellent. First, I was greeted by friendly staff, the water was water lily infused and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. My sister and I had miso ramen and tonkotsu ramen. Unfortunately, I don't have any photo because I was eating before thinking. The onsen tamago and pork in the ramen was just perfect. The main difference was the broth. Miso ramen had sweeter, neater taste and tonkotsu ramen had more savory taste. If you like ramen and are tired from hiking in Stavanger you should definitely visit Noodle Noodle.

Yelp
Random little place run by a jolly man. Food is great and good value. - hits the spot for when you want an Asian food fix! Enter into the shopping centre and it's in ground floor. Tasty laksa.

Yelp
Its as good as it gets in Stavanger. It is not up to snuff compared to authentic asian restaurants to larger cities, but a town where your only other options are "American-Chinese" options, this one certainly stands out. Its my go-to place after weekend downtown shopping trips. Ive tried the rice dishes and noodles, can recommend everything I've had.

Yelp
My friends and I visited Stavanger and we didn't know what to eat. One of our friend lives in Oslo and she was craving for ramen, thereforex we chose this place. The food itself its okay. The curry noodle is way to rich and heavy. The pork soup noodle it's a bit salty and the quantity it's on a smaller portion side. Food itself its okay, May be I just have a higher standard since I'm from California?

Yelp
We have been here an hour and I have only received spring rolls. A family that came in 30 minutes after us is almost done eating. We were just told what my friend order an hour ago is out and he had to reorder. This is ridiculous. I can't rate the food. Haven't had it...

Yelp
Fantastic Asian food (not just noodles) and great service! Probably one of the best Asian restaurant in Norway. I live in Bergen, and we don't have anything close to it here.
