"This tiny spot on Laugavegur offers a very simple but tasty menu that has become wildly popular with noodle fans. Chances are you’ll smell the tantalizingaroma wafting fromits doors before you see it. Inside, there are just three types of dishes to choose from: beef, chicken, and vegetarian, all delicious and all served in a steaming, noodle-filled broth. The soups are made fresh in an open kitchen, and service is both quick and friendly. You can control the amount of spice you would like, and there is an option to eat in or take away(although there areonly around a dozen seats, and the place is generally full). Noodle Stationhappens to be one of the cheapest fast-food options in the city, too."

This place is freaking awesome!! I’m of Asian decent and was not expecting to find such a unique soup in Iceland. I think it might just be the best soup I never had! Sometimes soups aren’t very filling, but this soup is so I highly recommend it. Absolutely no compromises as service as also very nice and quick.

I lived in China for 6 years and this is some of the best beef noodles I've ever had. Rich broth with a little sweetness. Beef was fall-apart tender. Noodles perfectly cooked. Chili oil was AWESOME. Actually spicy. Also, very reasonably priced compared to average restaurant in the city...bout $14 a bowl. Very surprised to find this in Iceland of all places!

Entered this place without any expectations but so good we had it twice during my stay. I tried vegetable noodle soup. It was a good serving. They put the soaked hot rice noodles first, then the soup, sprouts, crushed peanuts and if you feel daring, you can make it extra spicy. This is the best noodle soup I have ever tried. The soup is so beautifully made, there were loads of flavours, there was something about this soup that was making us feel so good and contempt. May be that's umami. Over all one of the best place to eat in Iceland. I loved it.

Service was fast and welcoming! If you want "A little bit of spice" ask for no spice-- the noodles have a nice amount of flavor without an additional kick. I had the chicken noodles which had a good amount of meat and veg, with more of a "curry soup" vibe. Absolutely yummy!

No fuss noodle shop. The key to a delicious bowl of noodle is in the broth…and they nailed it. The menu has three options only…very straight forward and perfect for when you’re not in the mood to scan through a long list of options & ingredients. Rich and delicious noodles reasonably priced for Reykjavik.

Don’t get me wrong for what I will say regarding this restaurant. It is an okay restaurant for a quick and cheap meal especially during the winter days, even though I will never visit it again. When I visited the restaurant, there happened to be only 2 people working and they are NOT cleaning/wiping the tables AT ALL! I know it is a self service restaurant but it was really disgusting. AND no customer toilet available. When it comes to the food, as a Korean who has tried many Asian noodle dishes but the soup tastes really random. Sweet and VERY salty! One good thing is that you can have as much as fried garlic and pepper to add…. I reckon…?

My bf and I came here looking for a hearty broth-y noodle soup to warm us up on a blustery Reykjavík night and Noodle Station did not disappoint. The menu is 3 things (which I usually take as a good sign. In my experience, the fewer the number of items on the menu, the better they’re cooked): they have beef, chicken, and veggie noodles. We wanted to share a beef and a chicken so we could sample everything they had to offer. Unfortunately, they were out of chicken when we ordered. No matter. We both got the beef noodles (spicy, of course!) and it was so delicious. The beef was incredibly tender, the broth was super tasty, the portions were huge, and the price was very affordable, esp by Reykjavík standards. Highly recommend ❤️🍜 And don’t forget to check your bowl when you finish!

If I could give noodle station more than 5 stars, I totally would! Their beef noodle soup was some of the best noodle soup I’ve had! The first time trying it, I remember just the burst of sweet and really strong but good flavor. The beef was very soft and delicious and everything about it was so perfect for a cold windy day. We even came back to the other location (not in downtown), and enjoyed the noodles there as well. Our baby boy especially loved these noodles. We’ve never seen him eat so much until noodle station
