I had a wonderful stay at The Noor near Capitol Reef! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable—everything felt fresh and well taken care of. The service was excellent; check-in was smooth and easy, and any questions I had were answered promptly. What really stood out was how kind and welcoming the staff were. They made me feel right at home and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Capitol Reef—it's a great place to relax after a day of exploring!

Google
This hotel is pleasantly located just outside Capitol Reef, offering excellent views and convenient proximity to the National Park. The rooms are comfortable enough for a one-night stay, with an adequate bathtub and dated furnishings. However, the water pressure is not great, which might make longer stays less comfortable for someone with longer hair. Service-wise, the hotel feels under-staffed. Also, there's no breakfast provided, which feels like a missed opportunity given the price to stay here. Overall, the value for money isn’t quite there.

Google
What an Amazing find! The views are incredible and there's even a walking trail on the property! There are sunset viewing benches, and a separate patio area. Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The whole property is very well maintained. There's a restaurant and gas station/mini mart on the property ~close enough for an easy walk, but far enough to not deal with the traffic. Highly recommend!! :)

Google
It’s a good place! It’s a bit cheaper than most of the big chain hotels in the area and a much better experience all around. The room was spacious and clean. The lobby was cheerful. There was no free breakfast :( but they did have a coffee bar :)

Went down to Capital Reef and stayed at the Noor Hotel in Torrey. Didn’t ask for a pet friendly room but that’s what we got. No big deal. Also arrived after 10 and our key and invoice were left on the desk next to another party’s key and invoice. Not to secure. Room would have been fine and the hotel’s in a great location but the AC didn’t work and when turned on was horribly loud. Called Ben at the front desk and he grumpily helped us through an issue with the TV and then we started talking about the AC and he hung up on us. I walked over to the lobby a few minutes before 10 PM to chat Ben up and rang the bell but he wouldn’t come out.

had a wonderful stay here last week. The views were epic, the woman at the front desk was very kind and the area was quiet. Only a few minutes to Capitol Reef NP

Google
Noor Hotel was there when everyone else was booked. You can tell the rooms are older but the staff seems to do a good job keeping it cleaned. It has a good view of surrounding cliff areas.

Google
Worth it if you're staying for 1 night. They don't offer the complementary breakfast and they never have according to the owner, so don't book specificly for that. Be prepared to press the button at the front desk or nobody will come to check you in.

Yelp
This facility was shabby and in disrepair. The front desk staff was not helpful, was abrupt. When I walked in the room, it was pitch black and the light switch closest to the door illuminated only that areas I had to stumble through the room to find more lighting. Big safety hazard...on the floor was an electrical cord stretched across the floor. There was no phone charging. The furniture was rundown and mismatched. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Yelp
I travel for business and have spent hundreds of nights in hotels and I have to say this was the worst experience EVER. Where do I start? We needed to change the schedule and drop a night. The manager would not do that (even though Expedia had no problem with the change), saying I was changing the reservation within their 24 hour window. How the hell does 4:30 on Sunday not work with 6PM on Monday - I'm still baffled by the math. OK, so I take the lick and pay for 2 nights. Get to the room and it is 2 doubles, I reserved a king. Back to the office to change that. Front desk guy was nice enough, but he made a snarky comment he should charge me more because it's a "suite". Really - their mistake that have the wrong room and I have to pay more - I think not!! OK that's settled and we move into the 1970's style decor. No kidding, frozen in time. the TV did not sync with the Direct TV receiver, had to unplug it to turn off the TV. So, it snows that night and we are planning to drive Route 12 to Bryce Canyon - not an easy road by any means - so I ask the front desk (lady this morning) what she recommends, the safe route or the tougher "pretty" route down 12. Her reply "I really don't know, I don't get around much here, just to home and back" You got to be kidding me -------- Never again - I'll sleep in my car before I come here again.

Yelp
I recently visited Torrey and stayed at the Noor hotel my traveling companion left a large sun of money in the room upon checkout, We contacted the manager Mr. Aram Kababchyan from 500 miles away who promptly went to the room and retrieved the package. He mailed the funds to my friend, he could have kept it but did the right thing and should be rewarded. I asked him to remove $200 for himself and $100 for the maid. He did neither but sent the money to me by USPS. This is a great man with integrity! You have the best ever motel... Mr. Sparks of Hyampom, California

Yelp
Well staffed and very nice views. There is a restaurant across the way if you are looking for a meal. I would recommend you be adventurous and explore food options around you as well. It was everything we needed. I especially appreciated the laundry available on site.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! We stayed at the Noor in Torrey because there really was nowhere else to stay besides a few other places, but the town was so small. The hotel is located just outside of Capitol Reef National Park. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk was so friendly and was asking us about our family and our trip. We met a guy at the park that we went to dinner with at La Cueva (100% recommend, within walking distance of the hotel). The bathrooms at the hotel were very clean and kept in like-new condition. They had small touches too that made it feel like home like the soap, shampoo, and even rubber duck they put out. There was no breakfast however, and I highly recommend getting gas when you can especially driving through Utah.

Yelp
I asked about beds due to complaints on Yelp about saggy beds. No saggy beds. Room was very clean and nice. It's just a nice place. Resturant in front was great. Very nice people working at hotel and at resturant. Get the shrimp tacos. Best we ever had.

Yelp
This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it was clean and in a beautiful (and convenient) location for our trip to Capitol Reef National Park. The lady at the front desk was very helpful in getting us a room last-minute when another hotel in the area turned out to be unacceptably dirty. My only complaint with the service is that she wasn't wearing a mask (we are, in fact, still in a pandemic). Also, both deadbolt locks in our room were broken, so I did not feel safe.

Robert B.

Yelp
Great bed but standard room. There was a wonderful Mexican place at the entrance that had awesome food! The room was ok but dated. Location to Capital Reef was an easy drive and very close. The area around was great for low light conditions to see the stars.

Sylvia S.

Yelp
Comfortable, clean room with a great view back to Canyonlands National Park. In the middle of nowhere outside of Torrey "proper". Very difficult to locate as GPS does not work in the area and the signage is terrible - small signs at ground level and hotel not visible from the road as it is behind a gas station/restaurant complex. But once found is very attractive and well maintained property. However it could definitely use more electrical outlets (only two found that were not in use by room appliances). Owners were main staff and were friendly and helpful. A few shortcuts were taken that could be improved - kleenex in the room and coffee cup lids in the breakfast. Breakfast ok but not special. Restaurant associated with the property (and apparently same ownership) was no so good, strange version of Mexican food. But convenience store with gas station was well supplied, clean with friendly service.

Yelp
Stayed at the Noor because the Rim Rock was booked. The room was spacious, but the bed sagged so much you didn't need to lay down to know what kind of night it was going to be. I was in the middle of a shower after checking in, and apparently someone else wanted to shower as well as the water pressure dropped so low I couldn't rinse my hair. Fortunately they turned the water off for a few seconds, allowing me to get the soap rinsed off before they tried again. I'm sure they were thrilled when their water suddenly started working. We went into the restaurant and left without sitting down. Not a good value.

Yelp
Nice place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was spacious and clean. It was only 8 miles to the Capitol Reef visitor center. I also liked that there was a gas station on the front of the hotel, for a traveler it's was really convenient.

Yelp
The most rude desk clerk and manager I have ever experienced we are in our seventies and after driving hours to get to our confirmed reservation at the Noor they said that bedsonline had booked us for the same date but two months earlier which was a no show but they got their money they told us they had no rooms for us and nothing available for seventy miles they didn't try to find us anything. DONT GIve them your business.

Yelp
Husband and I are both out of work due to the COVID, so we decided to take a little road trip to Capitol Reef. Due to COVID this room was also super inexpensive, so my complaint user about the price. We arrived at the hotel and after a few minutes of fiddling with the computer they were able to check us in. We lugged our luggage up the stairs, got to the room and for was open and room not cleaned. We lugged our luggage down the stairs and returned to the office. The lady at the counter was very polite and apologized and set is up with about room, she said it was an "upgrade" because of the view. We lugged our luggage back up the stairs to the room right next to the first one. I could see no difference in the view, the same gorgeous red rocks could be seen just the same as from 3 feet away at the first room... But a free upgrade is a free upgrade no matter how weird it is. We get in the room and I turn on the A/C, which starts blowing hot air. So I called the desk and a staff member was sent. She fiddled with it for a few minutes and said "yeah we've had to fix a lot of these lately, we won't be able to get freon till tomorrow". She assured me that it gets really cold at night. I have this thing where I need to be cold in order to sleep. It's 4 am and still waiting for it to get cold. The bed feels like a 1970's era spring bed, and that wouldn't be horrible but it also sags in the middle so bad that I had to use the pillows to build a wall between me and my hubster so I don't topple over him. I will say this for the room, the bathtub was clean, I mean shiny white clean. That's a big deal to me because I like baths. All in all I give this hotel a 2

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were in Utah for spring break and had been driving all day. Our original plan was to camp somewhere in Capitol Reef; however, it was late and extremely windy so we decided to find a hotel in Torrey. Our service was limited and so we settled on the first hotel we saw which happened to be the Door hotel. Although it definitely beat camping in 20mph winds, I felt that almost $200 for the night was a little steep given the conditions of the room. It was a decent room but there were a few things that decreased the quality of our stay such as the door leading to the room jamming every time we closed it. The room was a little outdated and the bed wasn't the most comfortable but, like I said, it was much more luxurious than our tent would have been in that wind. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Plus, there is a Mexican restaurant in front of the hotel that was amazing! But that's for a different review ;).

Arso U.

Yelp
Excellent hotel in beautiful place in the hart of Utah.Had an amazing time in the location and enjoyed the delicious food in the front restaurant!

Matt G.

Yelp
The front desk gentleman was so very kind and accommodating when we needed extra blanket and linens. A wonderful sense about the place and the room was just what we needed and a wonderful launching location for trips into Capitol Reef NP. Mexican food that was excellent was a great bonus and just in front of the hotel.

Chaos J.

Yelp
No major problems. Friendly check in. Room was clean and overall a fine place to stay, but a bit plain/outdated. Not enough easily-accessible power outlets. Very expensive for the level of quality but it was high National Park tourist season.

Betsy Q.

Yelp
Expensive and dreary. You can do so much better. I can't believe it was $175 a night with taxes. And the breakfast room smelled so unappetizing that I lost my appetite. The region is exquisite, but stay somewhere else if you can. Everything was booked when I came through. I'll plan earlier next time.

M M.

Yelp
We really liked our stay. Was only for one night, but check process was smooth. The beds were clean, and location was great. There is a convenience store next door as well, which is great!

Dave T.

Yelp
Great hotel. My room was very clean, the staff was friendly. No complaints, I stayed 2 days.

D E.

Yelp
Located very close to the beginning of the park! Because of off season, not many places open but otherwise centrally located! Staff (Heather) was great and accommodating! Great place to stay- clean, affordable, and free complimentary breakfast. Note: Very quiet town in winter (off season; very few places open so prepare ahead and eat early)

Yelp
Very nice hotel between Torrey and Capitol Reef Park. Clean, quiet and comfortable bed. They also have washer/dryer which came in handy after a day of hiking at Capitol Reef.

Yelp
I recently tried to cancel and existing reservation and request a refund. I called the hotel and spoke to the owner and explained the situation. We are from the East Coast and earlier in the week we were traveling a major class 4 hurricane was due to strike North and South Caroling. One of the couples we were traveling with are from North Carolina. They were quite anxious able the storm and their ability to return home safely. we decided to cut our vacation short and tried to get home asap. The owner would not refund our money or even part of it. Very disappointed in this facility and their lack of understanding of our special circumstances. Cannot recommend this hotel

Andrew M.

Yelp
The hotel itself was good. Clean. Quiet. However, I need to connect to the internet to do some work in the evening. The internet was unworkably slow. And there is no cell service so I couldn't even use my phone as a hot spot. Had I known, I would have driven the few hours to the next town.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for several nights in early May '18. When I looked at pricing several months earlier, this hotel came up as less expensive than a couple of other nicer looking options, so I went with the less expensive choice. Once in Utah I decided to look again, and for some reason when I looked at dates in the summer, this hotel was comparable to or even more expensive than the nicer options.....so, do your homework first based on your travel dates. I would highly recommend spending a little more if needed and staying at one of the other couple of places in Torrey that are nicer....! Pros: -Polite front desk staff, very late check-in accommodated -Less expensive -MOSTLY clean room (see below) -Easy access to road leading up to Capitol Reef -Gas station located on site Cons: -Stairs with no elevator, hauling luggage not so fun, but nowhere in Torrey has an elevator, so oh well! -Most of the room was clean, however.......there was various types of hair literally all over the bathroom floor. If it had been swept and mopped, that wouldn't have been the case. It literally had clearly not been cleaned at all. I used a rag that they provided to wipe down the bathroom floor. This made me wary of the carpet. I also found hair on the bottom fitted sheet when I removed the pillows to inspect the bedding. It completely looked like it had not been changed out after the last guest, because of the fact that there was hair right at the head of the bed on the fitted sheet, where people sleep.....! There was hair on the brown blanket on top of the bed. So, I slept on top of the top sheet and used my own blankets and pillow which I bring for just such occasions, making it not super comfortable. The fridge was clean, the microwave was not entirely clean. -Fairly uncomfortable mattress/bed -Spotty internet -Anytime the neighboring guests on either side walk around or move around in their room, the floor, furniture, and lamps shake..... It was very noisy in that regard. -Their "View Room" is a complete waste of money--do not purchase a View Room if it comes at an extra cost! The "view" included the parking lot, huge rolls of carpeting that they are replacing strewn around everywhere, a shed or two, and the old gross remnants of a pool and hot tub from bygone years.
