Norbu Yangphel Restaurant

Norbu Yangphel is a traditionally styled Bhutanese restaurant in Gangtey. The building is nicely decorated and the dining area feels warm and welcoming, especially with the stove heating the room. The food was served buffet-style — simple but tasty. Nothing fancy, but it was a good, satisfying meal in a pleasant setting.

It’s supper convenient and good place between Trongsa and Wangdue phodrang. It provides very delicious food for both Bhutanese and international travelers. Try and you won’t regret.

Another place frequented by tour companies in bhutan. Mediocre buffet experience with food that was semi tasty. At least this place has a couple of dishes that were close to Bhutanese cuisine. Food is one thing which can be improved across hotels in bhutan.

It's beautiful local restaurants where it serves both local as well as foreign cuisine and staff are really friendly and humble. The best part is the location as it's located at the mid way to trongsa or vise versa. Food is damn delicious as well.

A hotel with a delightful little cafe at the edge of the world. Check. Finding amazing chocolate eclairs in the middle of nowhere. Check. An outdoor handicraft market spread on the hotel grounds and the street. Check. A rare cordyceps auction in the middle of summer. Check. Pure unexpected magic. Check. Check. Check. This is one of the reasons why I so love Bhutan.

A convenient location to stop for a buffet lunch. The service was very good and the building tidy and well presented. Nice views across the valley. The little potatoes were a highlight.
