Norbu Yangphel is a traditionally styled Bhutanese restaurant in Gangtey. The building is nicely decorated and the dining area feels warm and welcoming, especially with the stove heating the room. The food was served buffet-style — simple but tasty. Nothing fancy, but it was a good, satisfying meal in a pleasant setting.

It's beautiful local restaurants where it serves both local as well as foreign cuisine and staff are really friendly and humble. The best part is the location as it's located at the mid way to trongsa or vise versa. Food is damn delicious as well.

This is one of the reasons why I so love Bhutan.

It’s supper convenient and good place between Trongsa and Wangdue phodrang. It provides very delicious food for both Bhutanese and international travelers. Try and you won’t regret.
