Located nicely with beautiful view to a wooden church and a river from our room, room 2. Room was very basic and bathroom was really small but breakfast was very nice and buffet. Three minutes walk to a super market and restaurants. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and some restaurants in the area were closed but near by pizzeria and hotel restaurant were opened as usual. There was a beautiful waterfall next to a nice bakery and pizzeria across the hotel. It was very convenient place to stay one night on our way to fjords zone.

Liked: - Location. All of Lom's sightseeing options, including the walking trails are at a walking distance. - Their reception hours are pretty much suited for all kinds of travellers. Disliked: - The 3-bed cottages are overpriced, and need upliftment e.g.: better slope in the shower so that water drains quickly, wider beds(I can write an essay about how they are misguiding the visitors). - Not a single tree with shade on the premises. They have already utilized every inch of the campus. - It's a bustling site. Motorbikes and cars keep on passing. The cottage I got was beside the electric cars charging station. - I have stayed in aplenty cottages across Scandinavia, and for that price, their kitchenette is underwhelming. There is not a single window besides it. - Something is off with the cottage structure or material itself. It always felt congested and sweaty inside, in spite of having all the windows open(at the cost of inviting mosquitoes). Overall, I won't recommend it unless you don't have any other options.

The check-in is at the Kaffee/Hotel/Restaurant, just next to the roundabout. Friendly staff, free choice of lot, around 400NOK with electricity. Good and mostly clean ameneties, big space.

I got room 1. The room were alright but the wash were clogged so it was not good, you get breakfast there but it is cold food really cold. I could not sleep there because it was a pub right beside the hotel so i heard them screaming and stuff. (If you are going here you NEED to go to bakeriet i Lom, its the best)

This "tourist centre" / hotel is situated in the centre of beautiful Lom (prev. "Fossbergom"), which is one of the nicest places in the entire Norway. Be sure to visit the local bakery ("Bakeren i Lom"), the beautiful stave church and the interesting exhibitions at the Mountain Center. I highly recommend taking a 30 min drive to spectacular Lake Tesse, or even further up the mountains (gravel road, fee NOK 50) to see reindeers and spectacular views in Jotunheimen, up to Glitterheim - with a view to Peak Glittertind. Enjoy. The Nordal Hotel has nice rooms, upgraded buildings and very nice breakfast with great view from the dining room windows. The rate is lower than the neighbouring hotels but this hotel is in my opinion slightly better. Not listed on Hotels.com, but who cares when you get this quality at a moderate rate, Dog-friendly (at no extra fee).

Breathtaking view in a cozy environment, good restaurant and a complete and delicious buffet breakfast. This hotel is a crossroad for campers and hikers and curious tourists of any type, the position is crucial and the interiors are just what you expect from a typical Norwegian facility.

Rented a camping cabin, and was very happy with it. Bunk beds, clean and easy standard. We had a nice little patch of grass where we could chill out in front of the cabin, and the most amazing view towards the stave church and the green mountains. Had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel, also simple and tasty.
