Nordie Café

We recently discovered this cute cafe with a fantastic vibe in a prime location in Red Hill. The drive to get there is gorgeous too! The coffee was really good, and top tip - their chai was exceptionally authentic and flavourful. Some extra tips, the spelt banana bread and the gluten-free brownie are excellent. We didn't have brekkie but the menu looked interesting (as in great!) Think norwegian / nordic affair along with your regular breakfast favs.

Great little cafe near Red Hill. Nice vibes inside with a constant stream of locals and tourists coming through. We came as a group of 7 and the long tables catered for us well. I ordered the prawn chilli scrambled eggs which was of good quality, fluffy eggs and nicely cooked prawns. Our one gripe with the food was that whilst everything was nice the serving sizes across the board could definitely be a bigger, particularly with the menu prices. Coffee was very good although I ordered a small orange juice and it was tiny, again portion size could be improved for the prices they're charging. Overall though a nice experience and would have no hesitation coming back.

Food was delicious, and did not have to wait for a table. Service was friendly.

last time i was here i got the smashed avocado and it was absolutely delicious full of flavour, and a hot chocolate which is just done so classically well, the previous time i got a burger and chips and an ice chocolate, (only have photo of the latter) but i highly recommend nordies!

This would absolutely be my local if I lived nearby. The food is delicious, good coffee, the music and atmosphere is so lovely and laid back even when they have a line of people ordering coffee. I had the smoked salmon board and it was flawless, though I'd love a second piece of bread but that's my only critique! Lots of seating. But the reason that I'd make this my local is purely for the absolutely awesome people who work here. Super friendly to a first time visitor but the fact that specifically the lady slinging coffees at the entrance knew almost every person's name who walked in was impressive! She seemed to genuinely care about the customers and I am here for that. Well done Nordie, I'll definitely be back!

We come regularly to this cafe when in the area because the food is absolutely delicious! The Nordie Burger is a firm favorite, but I would order most of what is on the menu, especially the breakfast items. The chocolate milkshakes are perfect, coffee (and tea) are excellent, and the service is friendly and relaxed.

Coffee was spot on at Nordie cafe,strong and perfect! The chocolate brownie was out of this world, exactly as they said. Must try!

Amazing cafe, breakfast was delish, salmon on toast with boiled egg and roe, and the chilli scramble were both amazing. The sweets and coffee were also tops. Service was quick and attentive. Vibe of the cafe is great, chilled out, great seating inside and outside. Dog friendly too.
