I had a great stay. The rooms were really comfortable even for my elderly parents. Our rooms faced the river providing fantastic photo opportunities from the room itself. Breakfast was included in the stay and was ample and delicious. The decor gives a rustic cabin vibe and suited the surroundings. All in all a wonderful stay and I would love to be back any time I am in Lulea

This hotel is largely focused on the corporate market, so during the week it can be pricey, but often offers deals on weekends, making it great and very convenient to stay in for late arrival or early weekend flights from Luleå airport which is very close by.||The hotel has a great and interesting design (based around the indigenous Sami buildings of old but on a larger scale) and the reception has a small collection of locally found stuffed animals which are of interest to see.||Friendly staff with good English greet you. Efficient check in and nice standard rooms (views to the back are better than views to the front, is good to know) are all topped off by a great buffet breakfast in a really beautiful dining area featuring exposed wood beams, open fire place and conversation starting design! ||While I had a great stay, it is worth noting for those new or not familiar to/with Luleå this hotel is 6-7km from the city centre, and taxis are not particularly cheap, alternatively it is at least a one hour walk, and in Winter temperatures can reach below -30c, so if you are planning a 'city break', other hotels maybe preferred.||Other than that consideration, I would recommend :)

The hotel rooms maybe a bit 80'ish and a bit shabby, but the overall look of the hotel and the surroudings are fine. It was quiet, so noices weren't disturbing at all. Breakfast was very good, and served in a pleasant log-built room. There's a small lake by the hotel and you can walk or run in the woods. Service was friendly, free wifi was available, and complimentary tea and coffee was served. I think this is a nice stop on the way to north, if you want to introduce yourself to the spirit of Lapland.

Hotel staff proved its endless flexibility and professionalism when accommodated our team of workers (~100 men) for months in Lulea. The hotel is well located and has a very pleasant environment. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Good and tasty variety of food at breakfast, so we almost succeeded eating up their stock once or twice:). I just cannot recall any problem during my 3 week stay, only good memories.

As all the hotels were full, we were delighted to find this pleasant accommodation after driving out of the town. It is unique, with its rustic style and decorations (stuffed bear, wolverine, etc.) and natural surroundings. Although the receptionist could not give us a discount on the steep "conference room rate", he upgraded us to a suite with en suite sauna.||||Breakfast was acceptable, and buffet dinner at the restaurant was satisfactory, at a reasonable price. |We stayed there for 1 night with the family. We had a room with own tiny sauna. The decoration was a little bit off the season. It seemed a very quiet hotel and the location was average. But anyway, we had a good sleep and the breakfast was good! :-)

Super wee hotel which is very handy for the airport. Buffet dinner always good and bar staff friendly and helpful. Nice wee lake to stroll around. Nothing else to add except this review must be more than two hundred characters. Can't believe that it is still less than two hundred characters so am still typing.

Stayed at Nordkalotten Hotel. Very pleased with the hotel and the friendly staff. Good value for money, not at least the dinner buffet (125 SEK) and the excellent breakfast (included). The staff was very kind. Brought a small dog with me and got a dog blancket etc as a complementary from the hotel. Can recommend the hotel!
