Had such a wonderful customer service interaction with Madison that I wanted to mention it here. I showed her screenshots of two jackets that I was interested in and had seen in Nordstrom's app after I was unexpectedly without my luggage due to flight issues. She first confirmed that the store had them in stock and in my size, and then she told me exactly where I could find them on two different floors. I thanked her and headed to the first location. When I showed up at the first location, she was there, holding the two jackets for me to try on! I was astounded at the amazing customer service -- so very Nordstrom!
I tried them on, and one of them was perfect. She came to check on me in the dressing room, and I told her to take the jacket to her department and I could come by it from her so that she would get credit for the sale. She told me that there was no need for me to walk back there, that she would make sure the associate outside the fitting room was aware of my desire for her to get credit for the sale and give them her associate number. How considerate! I got my new jacket, she got the sales credit for it, and I LOVE IT.
I also want to mention that the Marketplace Cafe, the restaurant in the store, is the best place to eat lunch or dinner in the entire mall! SO. GOOD. And relaxing! Their salads are my fave!
Associates like Madison make me devoted to the process of shopping in person, using the tools that we now have access to (like apps, websites, etc.). It's the best of both worlds! Thank you, Madison!
