I came in here to purchase my fiancé A perfume and also a cologne for myself. I had an inkling on what I wanted to purchase however, the woman who worked with me her name is Nancy and she was able to give me feedback and her knowledge on which direction I should go in. I am pleased with the scents and most importantly, her stellar customer service. I had the most incredible conversation with her, and I can’t get over the fact that she is so knowledgeable when it comes to scents! I highly recommend anyone who is in search of a perfume or cologne to work with Nancy I’m telling you, she is the best!! 💕

I had an unacceptable experience at this store on January 3rd in the afternoon, at the first-floor register near the clothing entrance. I politely asked the cashier a simple question about a parking ticket and was met with clear hostility. I was told “no” with obvious contempt and then informed I “needed to buy something” to receive help. I’m a value customer by the way. The tone and attitude were aggressive, dismissive, and completely inappropriate. I felt singled out and treated with disrespect for no legitimate reason. In 2026, it is deeply disturbing to still encounter behavior that feels rooted in racial bias rather than basic customer service. Racial desegregation and equality are supposed to mean respect goes both ways. No customer regardless of race should be treated with disdain by an employee they’ve never met. This location has disappointed me multiple times with rude staff, but this incident crossed a line. Management seriously needs to address how customers are treated at this store.

Only reasons for rhe one star is the price for parking and the lack of happiness of the customers. Must be the DC attitude of RBF. I would be like that too if I had to work in this environment. HOWEVER! The workers were amazing and helpful. Plus, the mall is super cute and clean.

The hijabi and muslim ladies at the counter are so lovely! They are on top of everything and know their inventory. They also reorganize everything well and pretty often. The cafe manager is lovely too. I don’t want to shop anywhere else at the Fashion Center because they give me a holistic shopping experience.

26DEC.2024 Superb customer service and all the items are neatly on the racks. Always someone around to assist. The cosmetics section had everyone on deck. Not too much foot traffic and great space to shop. The ladies(bathroom)lounge is a true maze to find. Just look for ladies lounge and not bathroom, if you’re not familiar with the layout. Great shopping experience.

I am filing a serious complaint about my purchase at the Le Labo counter inside Nordstrom (Pentagon City) on 12/22/2025. I asked for Another 13 – 100 ml and was charged $360.40, the 100 ml price. Before showing me the product or confirming the size, the associate made me pay first, then labeled and bagged the item without allowing me to check it. When I got home, I discovered the bottle is 50 ml, clearly stated on the label. The receipt does not list the size at all—only the price. I paid for 100 ml and received 50 ml. I contacted customer service for a refund, but they insist I must return in person (which I cannot). They even questioned whether my receipt is real, despite clear proof and the amount charged. Given how this sale was handled, I now question whether the product I received is even what I was told I was buying. This experience feels misleading and deceptive.

We always have a wonderful experience shopping at Nordstrom in Pentagon City! I'm a personal assistant to a senior client who enjoys visiting the café for lunch and simply browsing the store. The staff is consistently courteous, professional, and welcoming. Our most recent visit was during the big "Anniversary Sale" on July 10th, and it was truly exceptional. We had the pleasure of working with Amelia, our personal stylist, who had carefully reviewed my client's selections from the sale catalog and was able to find everything on her wish list. Amelia was kind, attentive, and incredibly thorough -- we highly recommend her! A special thank-you as well to Mia at the MAC cosmetics counter, who pampered my client and made her feel truly special. Two other team members also stepped in to assist Amelia by retrieving shoes and jewelry, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. What really stood out was Amelia's thoughtful gesture of securing a wheelchair for my client -- it made a huge difference in our day. Thanks to the entire team for going above and beyond. This level of service deserves more than five stars!

I went to the indochino in Nordstrom and the service was fantastic. The staff member walked us through every small decision that goes into making a custom suit. The staff member helped my dad make informed decisions to fit his shape and fit him to make sure that the suit fit properly. If you don't want to go into Georgetown to go to Indochino, would recommend coming here!

Had such a wonderful customer service interaction with Madison that I wanted to mention it here. I showed her screenshots of two jackets that I was interested in and had seen in Nordstrom's app after I was unexpectedly without my luggage due to flight issues. She first confirmed that the store had them in stock and in my size, and then she told me exactly where I could find them on two different floors. I thanked her and headed to the first location. When I showed up at the first location, she was there, holding the two jackets for me to try on! I was astounded at the amazing customer service -- so very Nordstrom! I tried them on, and one of them was perfect. She came to check on me in the dressing room, and I told her to take the jacket to her department and I could come by it from her so that she would get credit for the sale. She told me that there was no need for me to walk back there, that she would make sure the associate outside the fitting room was aware of my desire for her to get credit for the sale and give them her associate number. How considerate! I got my new jacket, she got the sales credit for it, and I LOVE IT. I also want to mention that the Marketplace Cafe, the restaurant in the store, is the best place to eat lunch or dinner in the entire mall! SO. GOOD. And relaxing! Their salads are my fave! Associates like Madison make me devoted to the process of shopping in person, using the tools that we now have access to (like apps, websites, etc.). It's the best of both worlds! Thank you, Madison!

I had a really disappointing experience at the Nordstrom in Pentagon City, July 12, 2025. I simply asked what the minimum amount is to load on a gift card, and the employee said "$900." I clarified I was asking for the minimum, not the maximum, but she repeated "$900" again. Then she finally realized what I meant and asked how much I wanted to buy. I explained I was just asking for my own knowledge, but she seemed very, very annoyed. To make it worse, her colleague turned to her, muttered something while looking at me, and gave me a nasty look right in front of me. Very unprofessional and rude customer service. Definitely not what I expect from Nordstrom, Pentagon City. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The inventory isn't the greatest but it is convenient! I placed an order online for pickup. There were multiple staff members w/handheld devices & cashiers who were available to assist so pickup was easy and smooth. I bought my creed and MAC and headed to the bathroom before leaving. One complaint I had. I went to the bathroom while in Nordstrom.... Because I had to pee so bad.. I failed to realize the lock was broken until someone opened the door and hit me on my head w/ the door... so I slammed the door on her! I personally do not sit on public toilets so I was super annoyed this happened especially because the bathroom wasn't busy! As most ppl know they validate parking. I don't like the new flimsy paper tickets but whatever!

I purchased two pair of sneakers. I decided to return a pair. As soon as I walked in a Nordstrom employee acknowledged my presence. Later when searching the directory, an associate stopped and directed me to the returns register. I was greeted with a smile. My return was quickly processed and my parking was validated. Nordstrom's is tried and true. I have been a customer for over 20 years and I have consistently received great customer service at every location.

Stopped in the Jewelry department & the associates were helpful in sharing of the sales, who doesn't like a good sale? If you want something more of costume or statement, I was told to go upstairs in the Jr's section. I was in search of a White Gold chain that I found & was on sale. I proceeded to window shop & saw more sales throughout the department. A few steps away is the Handbag and Perfume Departments. Nordstroms is a good department store regardless of location.

When she finally arrived she did a cursory measurement and kept bringing me the only style/brand that I told her I had and did not fit well. I waited while she helped others I realized she wasn't going to help me. WOW. Ok I guess I go back to online....I cant believe I was at Nordstrom.

Nordstrom is a Seattle brand so expect great customer service, quality products, and an efficient experience (no, I am not from Seattle, just appreciate the culture). This Nordstrom is three levels and sells a variety of goods from shoes, men's clothes, women's clothes, toys, make-up, etc. They do validate parking (get your ticket stamped on the second floor). There's also a cafe to enjoy a good cup of coffee as your loved ones shop (yep, that's what I do every time). The prices are a bit high, but it's a small price to pay for quality goods that will last you a long time!

Before I began sharing my experience allow me to properly thank Mrs. Diedre' who helped begin this journey. Ms. Destiny for paying extensive attention to my needs and Ms. Kayla that was precious enough to smile when I finally changed my mind. A wedding was brewing in a week and I had not found anything fitting in color or curvy. Mrs. Diedre' presented a plethora of elegant gowns. I wanted something with pants due to the wedding on the water. She and I chose a romper / jumper. Mrs. Diedre' also connected with me via text link. That was amazing when I got on a time crunch I really needed it. It was ordered. On its arrival it was not the same feel outside of the store. My enthusiasm drowned in sorrow. I did not follow up through text, thought it was better to show up. Mrs.Diedre' was off. I met Destiny. I shared the process. Destiny and I picked out dresses, rompers, sale rack Items and spanx. Lol that was a blast. From zipper to sucking my stomach in alternating the same items for three hours was tiresome for me. Destiny suggested two types of spanx. Large and medium. Of course I chose medium knowing I'm a large. Nonetheless, I squeezed it on. Hahahahaha!!!!Destiny didn't miss a beat. She closed out the second sale. I left walked around a bit more for an hour. Came back after finding a brighter green / lime mustard to return my second exchange where Kayla closed the deal. All of this to say THANK YOU IN A BIG WAY, of patience and time consumption. They think customers will not realize they sell products on the rack and regular site at the same time, yet will not price match for customers who realize the scheming going on. I provided evidence photos and links to clarify they were just offered on the rack and have sold out and the agent couldn't say anything more than "I cannot price match for you" How is that providing any customer service and satisfaction? at first glance nice manager MICHELE is incompetent employee of the Nordstrom store, who should not continue to work for this company. I came to exchange my shoes to this store., WHICH I BOUGHT 1 day ago!!! But this store didn't have something I needed for my brother. That's why I was gonna rerun them for a gift card and to give it for my brother's bday, which is tomorrow. I was talking to the manager her name is Michelle. She said it's not possible to return the shoes to the store credit. As she told me there is 2 Ways for return. 1st one, to my debit card. In this case I had to wait 3-5 business days. It doesn't work for my because it's my brother bday tomorrow, I cannot wait 5 days..! I'd like to give a present to him. 2nd way she told me I have to open Nordstrom credit card and buy another gift cart... I don't understand why she told be that... she lied policy changed and now they only can sale gift cards for maximum $500.. (Dior shoes I have is about $1100) but it is not true, she blatantly lied.. in front of me they sold gift card for $750 to the random women... I've called to customer service and they simply confirmed that nothing has been changed and and 100% I can return my shoes to the store gift cats and give it to my brothers birthday!! Please be aware this lady MICHELLE does not know the rules of the store in which she works. or she discriminated against me based on my sexual orientation, I had small gay bracelet and she saw it!.. I also provided my debit card which I used yesterday for this purchase! she could also discriminate against me because of my surname of Russian origin (which I noticed she didn't like at all ) which indicates that my constitutional rights have been violated as a citizen of the U.S.!

I had alterations done on a garment I bought from Nordstrom and was told the charge would appear on my bill but then it would be removed later since I was a card member. I then received a bill with the $23 charge which I didn't sweat based on the promise of removal. I received another bill showing the same amount and paid it by phone a week later. Two weeks after that my credit score dropped 58 points. Really Nordstrom? Over $23 and after only 8 weeks? You lost a customer.

Only once have I found something here that I wanted. A lot of the clothing is made in China, which is a dealbreaker for me, but the prices are very high regardless. The selection isn't bad but they group things by brand instead of by category, so it caters more toward brand-conscious shoppers than practical shopper who are looking to find an item they need and don't care what brand it is. Be aware that you'll need to check different display areas to look for the same item. The home goods section is so small you'll walk right past it, so don't bother coming to this store for anything but clothes. The store feels spacious because it has so much floor area on multiple floors, so it's nice that it's less crowded than the rest of Fashion Centre mall.

I came here yesterday looking for a Black Skirt Suit. Simple, right? This is - after all - Washington D.C., and not the more casual, informal West Coast, right? Wrong. While there was an entire department devoted to men's suiting (see photo), I found only 2 styles of Black Pants Suits - 1 with a skirt (but not in my size), and 1 Navy Pants Suit. Yet we wonder why there are not more women in the American Board Room. How are we supposed to get there, if we can't even dress ourselves to fit in? #LeanIn

I purchased some "blingy" earrings about a year ago. I went to put on my bling and they werent so blingy anymore! I happened to be at Pentagon City with my sister so we strolled into Nordstrom - I wanted to see if they would let me bring in my old bling for the same bling for FREE. Guess what? The nice sales lady said, "Yes, of course - no receipt needed. Just bring them in" I returned them YESTERDAY and I am sooooo happy! Thanks Nordstrom for the great service.

Treated myself to the Anastasia brow salon. This time I had Ruth. I've been to Anastasia salons many times and just like to make sure I'm not going too far off track at home. I had Ruth and she showed me what she was going to w. Somehow, even with using a stencil I still ended up with one brow significantly thinner than the other. I was told that was a small thing that only I would notice. Will spend the next three months hoping it grows back. Bummer

This is one of those Nordstrom that you would be very disappointed I visit. Nothing fancy, not much designers, even their shoes selection was lacking in styles/brands. Make up selection is vast! A whole floor with dress up clothes/suits for men, given the fact that it's right across the Pentagon, make sense! Can't believe it's next to the St. Regis and it didn't have much to offer compare to the Tyson Corner location! I had my parents stay at the St. Regis next door so mom could shop! She's a true Nordy Member for life! She was very disappointed!

I've been shopping at this Nordstrom for 15 years. When I was younger the customer service desk would call my mom to authorize me using her credit card. That's when Nordstrom was ahead of the customer service experience. Now, not so much. Not only has this Nordstrom lost a lot of brands (due to the brand's request of exclusivity) and now only at Tyson's - they also lost the idea of customer service. A few years ago a sales associate was helping a customer. I came in to purchase the Longchamp Le Pliage leather bag which was $540. The associate didn't speak to or acknowledge me. I know it was my skin... I was going to order the bag online when I saw an employee I use to work with at the Montgomery location. The associate that didn't speak heard me tell her I just wanted to the get Longchamp bag. At that point her face conveyed she knew she made a mistake assuming the the olive skinned lady who didn't buy anything was a better sale prospect than I. I came back and purchased the bag right in front her her grinning the entire time. I then made a payment on my Nordstrom card for the amount of the bag (I wanted the points of course) and I wanted her to know that I had it. Feb 2019 - came in to get a new makeup brush and NARS tinted moisturizer. Again I'm sure I was profiled as a MAC girl and no-one wanted to help me. Eventually I decided to walk over to MAC because they always speak. Even when helping people they speak. As I was saying that to my mother, the MAC manager Khia spoke. She the delegated assistance and gotten me taken care of while helping everyone else. It wasn't until I pointed out to Khia that no one would speak to or acknowledge me that there was a concern about what I needed. I ended up spending $100 that day and coming back and spending over $200 a few days later. There are some great customer service people based off my experience with Khia and Angela the Kiehls' manager who leads me to my last story. Yesterday, I decided to return the $330 worth of things purchased at Kiehls and and purchase it from Angela because she was super helpful and I didn't like the experience at Kiehls. Shopping while black is exhausting because our dollar is green like everyone else but we are treated like trash from sales associates. Soooo I returned some shoes I had ordered online because they were ugly. I was gonna order a pair of $800 off white shoes from the associate so he could get the sale. You know what he did? Stopped in the middle of my return to help someone else. I actually didn't even trip because he works commission BUT when he came back hmph. He had the audacity to say he doesn't get paid off returns so he wanted to get that sale. Um ok go get her her $95 Steve Madden's or whatever and lose this $800 sale.

I got some great clothes from trunk club. It looked like they would alter it for free at a Nordstrom, so I drove around 45 minutes to get the work done. Their alteration policy is intentionally vague. If it looks like they can alter your shirt or jacket sleeves for free, they won't. There are a thousand exceptions to that policy, and apparently my items found them all. I went to pick up my clothes when they told me to, and when I arrived they couldn't find my clothes. When they were found, they had pins sticking out of all of the clothing because they hadn't done the alterations. Now I have to make that drive for a 3rd time. I really liked Trunk Club, but my in store experience was terrible.

Another win for Nordstrom's Unmentionables Section! I got my first proper bra fitting here years ago and my entire life (and rack) has been on the up and up ever since. While I love supporting the wonderful independantly owned lingerie shops in the DC area, I've had a bit of a struggle finding ones that specialize in the oh-so-sexy world of maternity undergarments so I decided to stop in for a fitting on my most recent mall outing. I am so glad that I did because Holy Underwire, I have never felt better. Within minutes I was immediately sized up and brought several bras in a variety of styles and price points. The quality of everything I looked at was wonderful and I was even more surprised when I was told that their tailors were able to convert any regular bra into a nursing bra for a mere $16 more. This service was totally worth it considering that maternity wear is a lot of form and function without any style. There is a reason why Nordstrom's customer service is known worldwide. I'm a customer for life!

Is this the biggest or best Nordstrom I've ever been to? No. But is it the most convenient one in the near-DC area? You got that right! I have long been a Nordstrom fan and enjoy that this location is pretty sizable and has a nice men's selection. I'm ECSTATIC about the new Topshop that they just installed this past month, which is an awesome place for surprisingly affordable, well-designed clothes for slender guys like me. While it's sometimes a bit of a task finding someone in the store to assist you, they are usually great when you do. Also, I have to give a shoutout to Clarissa A. at Nordstrom, who is a fantastic personal stylist. She's great about knowing what is available and if something isn't available, working her magic to get it for you (and faster than you'd be able to get it by ordering yourself). Louis in the men's department was also super helpful last winter when I was looking for a winter coat. And lest I forget, this is the best place in the DMV to have your shoes shined for the cost of a frappuccino. Once you get used to the layout of this particular store, where it is split into two sides by a long cafe near where the new Lounge is, it makes sense. All in all, Nordstrom is my jam and the Pentagon City location is no exception!

So this will be one instance in which a picture speaks a thousand words. Where do I begin? And I came in today to have a makeover done for a photoshoot. I'd walk all throughout Pentagon City Mall comparing prices and getting recommendations for make overs. I finally settled on the Nars counter at Nordstrom, with Ellis Moody. He was the make up artist recommended by the other sales people. From the beginning he was very friendly and put me at ease. I'm not a person that wears makeup regularly. So getting a makeover is a big deal for me. I Rely heavily on the advice of the makeup artist. In that sense, Ellis was perfect! He talked me through every single step of the makeover. He explained why he was using certain products, certain colors, and in certain orders. He has an intuitive sense of colors, has a good understanding of skin types and the products that are good matches for your skin. He also understood skin undertones as well as dark spots. He was not a hard sell kind of person, and every single piece of advice that he gave was clearly thoughtful and specific to me. I left my makeover feeling amazing and confident. I've already recommended him to others. I had a fantastic experience with him. Note. Nars's policy is that you get a free full facial makeover, but you do have to buy 3 products. I ended up buying $80 worth of merchandise. However the final product was so spectacular, that I feel that this was a good money well spent. The work was so professional, that my photographer asked who the makeup artist was and where I got my makeup done. I will certainly come back to Nordstrom's and ideally with Ellis if I ever have to get another maker or have another special event.

This was to be my favorite spot to shop I don't know why but in the past year the customer service just got so lazy! I can walk for 15 min to try to get someone to open the fitting room Very disappointed I will pay full price for the thing that I need and norstrom are really good in full price But when even the customer service is not really worth it anymore? So what's the point ?

In typical Nordstom fashion, the team in the mens department exceeded my expectations. I had a dress blazer that was altered at a different location and I wasn't pleased with the end result. I spoke with one of their personal stylists, Ms. Senich, and she promptly had me come in to make it right. As I approached the front desk, I could barely get the words 'I have a small problem with this...' before three different associates were around me ensuring they could help me alter the jacket to my specifications - without cost. Ms. Senich even reinforced the importance to the lead tailor by requesting rush processing. 3 days later the jacket was ready, fit like a glove and I walked out a happy man. Beyond thankful for the gentlemen in the mens department and especially Ms. Senich for the prompt service and ensuring that their customer(s) are left never wanting.

I had a cup of tomato soup and chicken tortellini for dinner. The tomato soup is always a winner. It is fresh. My tortellini was very good. It was not very warm. I sent it back to be heated up. It was perfect then. Waitress did not check on me. She went to every table except mine to ask if they needed anything. I felt the need to beckon her often or tell the other waiter. My rating is based on customer service.

I have been going to Nordstrom stores since before I could walk, so that being said I am a die hard Nordstrom fan. I moved to the DC area about 5 years ago and was very excited to be so close to a Nordstrom. I visited the Pentagon City location to help outfit myself for my new grown up job and used their lovely sales associates to help me put everything together. Over the past 5 years there have been some bumps in the road with my experience at this store. Most notably about 2 years ago I had 2 experiences where I was completely and totally ignored by sales associates when attempting to discuss products to make a purchase. Being a Nordstrom customer for so long I know that they pride themselves on their customer service and personally that is why I make an effort to shop here since I know I will receive the best customer service. When I had these disappointing experiences I reached out via email to the store manager (I called the store to ask for her email and the operators provided it to me), what happened after I did showed that Nordstrom is willing to go above and beyond to better themselves and make sure the customer has an extraordinary experience. The manager wanted to get in touch with me directly to personally review my less than stellar experience. We had a series of phone conversations detailing what happened, where I was and when, who was in the department, and what I was wearing so they could review footage. The manager took steps to meet with me in person and rectify the situation. She stated they are working hard to make strides in improving the customer service at this location. I can say that my experiences have improved since that time and after I have had nothing but the best from everyone who I have encountered at this location. These are the reasons I will continue to make Nordstrom my primary shopping location.

Located in the Pentagon City plaza... just a hop, skip, jump away from Marshalls. It's an okay location. The shoe department had some interesting selections and were priced reasonably. On my second visit to this location, I ventured through more of the store and was not particularly wowed by the items or the setup. There seems to be large racks of clothing and insufficient space. I wish the racks would spread out more for more easy movement through the store.

Very small and you REALLY need to work with the people who work in TBD. I am a frequent Nordstroms shopped and this is the first time I have EVER received atrocious customer service. I never once was asked if I needed help and then when I got to the register NO ONE helped me, one girl (didn't get her name, she was a larger girl with a chambray shirt on) she was too busy doing something else and just kept me standing there. It wasn't till one of the other sales associates was about to ring someone up in front of me that I spoke up again and asked why no one was ringing me up after standing at the register for ten minutes. He was apologetic but I already had my mind made up that I won't visit this location ever again. I'll stick to Nordstroms online or my local store where the service is outstanding.

A worn pair of Nike's were delivered to me. So tasteless! The laces had spots on them, the body of the shoes had creases on them, and the bottom had tar dark spots on the soles & bottom of shoes. As a inconvenience, you have to return to the store for a full refund. Or select another pair of shoes. Unfortunately for me, the shoes I purchased are sold out. They were perfect for a outfit I have. I'm not happy with my purchase nor my opinions.

I had a question about Topman suits, and I got a very helpful and prompt response via email. The department manager of Men's Casuals really made sure I found what I was looking for which I appreciated. And I love that Nordstrom carries Topman suits. As a skinny vegan (I don't wear wool) - it's very hard to find suits that fit - especially in the US where men's clothes seem to cater to larger men. Topman is stylish, affordable, they have suits with no animal products, and they have lots of options for slim/skinny men. This is also a convenient location to get to from downtown DC which I like.

Love their clothes and accessories! But the best part about shopping at Nordstrom is the customer service you receive. They treat you very well and are actually helpful. Also, if you have the Nordstrom card, they give you $100 worth of alterations as a gift. The Bistro is also pretty good...

I had to purchase a dress from Macy's because Nordstrom at Pentagon City sales associates don't speak to people of my skin color. Really wanted the $500 dress and unfortunately the brown women who did speak to me, caught me as I was walking out the door. Nordstrom, this has happened to me more than once. You need secret shoppers just to confirm your "amazing" customer service. Macy's CS WAS AMAZING, however.

I've been a fan of Nordstrom for over 25 years. However......The quality of merchandise and brand selection has recently deteriorated, this began before Covid. It seems there is more focus on cheaply made leased-type brands. I understand that merchandise selection must vary according to what sells in a particular demographic area. But the changes have been noticeably drastic. I shop in the DC area and NYC. This change is most evident in the recently opened Manhattan store. It's a disappointment with its limited choices, a large internet pick up area, numerous coffee bars and a publicly viewed denim alterations department.. There's very little merchandise on the floor and very cheaply finished fitting rooms. It does not feel like a genuine Nordstrom experience at all. Seems as though the Nordstrom brothers are experimenting and restructuring their entire marketing on a prediction that future retail will be infused with internet shopping. What a huge disappointment. I long for any part of the original shopping experience they used to offer.

I'm really NOT a Macy's or Nordstrom kind of guy. This review is for Nordstrom's in-store bistro ONLY. After some power shopping with my girl, (I tagged along) we decided to try their bistro. I assumed it would be average and the prices would be ridiculously high. Neither was the case. We split a turkey & bacon sandwich. And I have to tell you, it was surprisingly amazing. We also split a small salad. Even the croutons were fresh and tasty. I asked if the bread was baked on site. I was told that the company that supplies their bread also supplies the White House. Service was attentive and the place was quite clean. We will be back again for sure.

I really like Nordstrom and buy the vast majority of my work clothing there but I am not particularly crazy about this place because: 1. The customer service isn't quite up the the level as other Nordstroms. 2. The inventory and selection is more limited as well. Either that or I've become more picky and selective (definitely possible I admit). So if you have the means to do so, I'd suggest going to another Nordstrom and only come here in the interest of time and convenience.

Best department store ever. This Nordstrom is a heaven of all things stylish and an oasis of peace. They are ever so friendly and attentive, on all floors and in all sections. Their cafe serves wonderful food (top level), and its quality is miles apart from the terrible food court (which charges the same price) in the Pentagon Mall. My favorite is the women's shoes department. Michael is fantastic. Comfy and luxurious seats for you to lounge around while waiting for them to bring out your sizes. The entire floor is open, inviting and so pleasant. Every staff who walks by will always ask if you are being helped. Checking out is amazing too. They would go to the counter and get everything sorted out and bring the receipt to you all while you are comfortably seated. No standing and waiting in line. I never saw any line there. And it is never crowded.

Nordstroms is ok. I stopped by because I needed to replace my foundation at the MAC counter. It wasn't super busy but for some reason it took a minute before some one would help me. The people at the counter all seemed new so I hope their customer service was a reflection of the lack of experience. After I stopped by MAC I went to find a white blazer. There were no selections in any of the departments I went to. Sigh. I came to the Pentagon City Nordstroms because I live five minutes away, but honestly I think I would have been better off going to the one in Tyson's Corner.

This review is for the Beauty Stylists / Cosmetics Department I had a negative experience with a Nordstrom Beauty Stylist (Bbee), but it was rectified by management and I was redirected to the Dior Counter where I had a wonderful experience with Stacey. My original appointment was with Tia. When I needed to reschedule, I called; Bbee answered the phone and said she would call Tia. If she couldn't get in touch with Tia, she would accommodate my appointment change herself. Later that evening I received a text from Bbee confirming 11a with Bbee, saying that she couldn't get in touch with Tia. The next day, I arrived at 11a. Bbee was nowhere to be found - even her managers couldn't find her. Tia said that Bbee never reached out to her to reschedule me. I texted Bbee to let her know I was waiting for her and she replied that she was "tied up with paperwork" but would be there soon. 15 minutes later, nothing. The Cosmetics Dept manager sent me to the Dior counter where I had a wonderful experience with Stacey. Alls well that ends well, but with a Department Store that has the reputation of Nordstrom, I would expect all employees to operate with integrity (not stealing each other's clients) and timeliness to their customers. Hopefully Bbee can learn from her missteps. Until then, I will be seeing Stacey at Dior. She was *amazing* and a talented makeup artist and friendly person to talk to.
