Yesterday, September 15th, I stopped by Nordstrom to purchase a handbag for my daughter. I browsed for a while but couldn’t get any help. I noticed two associates, but neither acknowledged us no greeting, no smile, nothing. I couldn’t help but feel like maybe they assumed I wasn’t going to purchase anything, which was disappointing. I honestly wanted to leave, but instead I decided to seek out another associate.
That’s when I met Sergio, and he was the complete opposite. He greeted us with kindness, offered assistance with a smile, and made the experience pleasant. A simple “hello” goes a long way, especially in retail, and Sergio reminded me of that.
Thank you, Sergio, for helping my daughter and me. The one star is solely because of the young ladies who walked by me three times without bothering to help—but Sergio absolutely deserves recognition for his professionalism and kindness.
