I’ve been coming to Nordstrom Cafe for many years, and it’s always a wonderful experience! I absolutely love their gluten-free pasta option—it's flavorful and never disappoints. The best part is the staff; they’re always so friendly and remember me every time I visit, which makes the experience feel even more special. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a longer meal, I always leave feeling satisfied. If you're looking for great food and fantastic service, I highly recommend Nordstrom Cafe!

I've had a range of experiences with cosmetic associates at this location. While some have been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, I've unfortunately encountered a few instances where I felt profiled about my ability to afford certain products. It's important to remember that assumptions about a customer's financial situation can be off-putting. I appreciate that when I addressed my concerns with the store manager, they were promptly addressed. I hope that in the future, all associates can provide a welcoming and inclusive experience for all customers.

Shopping at Nordstrom is like being in a fancy five star hotel. I’ve NEVER eaten at the cafe, but have always wanted to try it. I love the way it’s decorated during the Christmas season. I’m also glad to hear they’ve decided to stay here at Oak Park Mall instead of relocating to the Country Club Plaza. I think that’s really great for the mall.

Kelly Nou was absolutely wonderful! i needed help looking good and she fixed me up!! i wanted a more full coverage on the chanel and she found just what i needed! she also found me some other things to help my face pop! super thankful for her! 🤩🥳

My go-to store for quality goods in KC. Only wish they had a bigger selection in store of modern clothing and shoes. Too often I have to order online. Luckily they have the best return policy!

Its ok but a little pricy on some things that shoukd definitely be lower.I guess its the atmosphere if you can drop a few hundred on some sunglasses they figure ypull spend $75-80 for a matching keychain which looks liie it cost less than $3 to make.Nordsrrom Rack much better deals Right Across the STREET!

Being an out of state visitor & my first time out in the MidWest, I was quite ecstatic to find myself in the sole outpost of my all-time, ultimate & favorite American luxury department store that offers a wide variety of designer clothing and footwear, cosmetics, and home goods. This location seems a little older than the ones I frequent on the West Coast - in the San Francisco Bay Area region to be exact - as it does need some remodeling & renovating to make it to the current 'modern times', per say! However, I was very impressed with the stellar customer service that Nordstrom is known for - in addition to being somewhat 'foreign' in this part of the country! I was simply browsin' & window shoppin' in the mens sections, and I did not get ignored nor an off-type of stares from the associates in those areas! I was attending a conference in the Kansas City metro, and I definitely needed to hit up a Nordstrom while in town! Perfect timing that it had to be the early access to their yearly Anniversary Sale during the month of July - and that their Influencer VIP private shopping party occurred on the 4th day of the conference week - and sure thing that I did my RSVP to allocate some time to hit up the one & only Nordies full-line store in the state of Kansas! Upon entering & checking in, I was a given a SuperFresh swag bag, with a raffle prize that would see how much was in it for a store gift card, in addition to two envelopes for a FREE treat (worth up to $10) at either the Nordstrom Café or Espresso Bar! Not only that, upon browsing around the store, there was a live DJ spinnin' some tunes (what a great way to start your early mornin' bargain huntin' LOL), in addition to a refreshment station with light bites & drinks that you can take to go! (I definitely asked for more of those tin can water bottles to take to the conference to keep myself hydrated LOL). My experience was a positive one, and I was glad that I got to experience an Anniversary Sale at a MidWest full-line store. If you ever find yourself in the Kansas City metropolitan area, I highly recommend to check out this full-line store (as well as the 2 nearby Racks) - just be forewarned that it simply has a different vibe from the usual West Coast locations, but it is STILL a Nordstrom & you can definitely use your card & rack up on those points! Don't say I didn't warn ya! :)

Good: Very nice selection. Quality clothing. Doug, in the women's perfume section, is clutch! We weren't able to get the cologne I wanted for my son. But, Doug recommended a nice fragrance in a smaller bottle. He knows how to treat a customer. Bad: The loss prevention secret shoppers, and I'm pretty sure they called the police. Conclusion: If you look a certain way, be prepared to be spied on. 2024 amirite?...

Hands down worst Nordstrom I've ever been to. Grew up in Chicago and phoenix and this one doesn't even carry designer brands. I was told the only designer brands they have are returns people bring in. I mean why even call yourself a Nordstrom if you don't carry anything that Nordstrom's would! Unreal. They need to open one in the plaza in Kansas City MO. This one has got to close already.

Not the best Nordstrom, but got my alterations done and because the items are from Nordstrom, it was free and will be mailed! Generally the associates are friendly, but not particularly at this location. Can't stress enough that getting a Nordy club card from here is worth it just for the alteration services. Updating to say: as I browsed the different departments, no one approached me to inquire if I needed assistance. I eventually asked an associate at a register to call for someone from alterations. The process was fine.

Excellent quality and highly desirable styling in shoes and clothing. The sales associates are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I went in on a Tuesday evening to quickly grab a specific skims product and the lady in that specific skims area on the third floor was very kind asking if I needed help or not. I went over to the kids clothing, still on the third floor and the lady wearing a pink plaid blazer and black pants was rude. She had a short bob haircut with grey and black hair. She spoke in a very unfriendly tone and did not seem willing to help me get a dressing room. She looked me up and down in a very mean way and reluctantly helped me. I felt unwelcome and just left without purchasing.

This review is solely for Cafe Nordstrom, located on the third floor. Honestly some of the best salads and sandwiches you'll find in the metro, tucked away in a department store cafe! Excellent cheddar chive biscuits and soup as well.

I'm not really a department store person- but I absolutely love Nordstrom. The main reason is because their customer service is the absolute gold standard!! Every employee is truly kind, polite, and helpful. The makeup section is huge- they even have Tom Ford Beauty products here, which is rare to find. Their MAC counter is as big as some MAC stores. The shoe selection is the best in town. Men's, women's, kids- if you can't find the shoes you want here, they probably don't exist. I think only Zappos online has a better selection. I was here the other day looking for a specific type of earrings for my mom. I was having a difficult time finding anything I liked at other stores. Many places just didn't even know what I was taking about. Then I came here- it should've been my first stop, and now I'll know to come back here first. Kelsey in the jewelry/watches section knew exactly what I was looking for and showed me their selection. She even wrote down more info about the product and the web address where I could view items coming soon to the store. So nice! I walked away with the most beautiful set of Kendra Scott Kyocera blue opal earrings, and my mom loved them! Thanks so much to Kelsey for giving me such wonderful service.

I just closed my long-time Nordstroms debit account (that department, Nordstroms Credit, was sold a few years ago and is free-standing). They are unable to update email accounts of and for customers. It's a part of the forcing-you-to-use-our-app thinking, which has NOTHING to do with security. Gong !

Wow! I'm from the land of Nordstrom - Seattle, WA. The Nordstrom family were even my neighbors, at one point, but their service is incredibly POOR, in Overland Park, KS. I walked into their shoe department, right by the mall entrance doorway and was expecting a warm "hello, just let us know if you have any questions, okay." Instead, the two floor people were talking amongst themselves and only said hello to a blonde woman, but not me, nor the other minority woman, perusing around, at the same time. Before I decided to drop the hundreds of dollars, that I was expecting to, I observed this to heart and will not be giving my business to this particular store. I decided to give 2 stars because the barista, at the eBar, was so kind. I'm incredibly disappointed overall otherwise. I guess I'll just have to stick with my Nordstrom, in Seattle.

I had a few minutes in Nordstrom today while my teenagers checked out the sports stores. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror & realized I looked as tired as I felt! My mom is a huge fan of Lancôme, so I approached the young lady working there & said "I need help". Olivia listened to my concerns, then helped me find the right shade & products to help. She took the time to apply the products & show me exactly what to do. I feel 5 years younger! Thank you, Olivia! You've got a new long term customer!

A wonderful selection with lots of sizes, colors, and styles to choose from. Without question the best clothing store in Kansas City. Nothing else compares.

Made the long drive with my friend to hunt for boots. They had some great sales, but the best was the service we received from Carla in the shoe department. These are hard times to work in retail and this young woman hustled to find us what we were looking for and was so friendly and helpful. We will be back because of her great service!

The last year I have struggled with online shopping with Nordstroms. Their shipping & cust. Ser. Totally sucks! I'm a fool to believe anything they tell me because it's all sugar coated lies! I pay for upgraded shipping, what they do not tell you is with multiple items when they separate your order, which is always!! It will not all be shipped upgraded shipping. A pair of underwear might go FedX express & the important bulk of your order will be shipped US postal service to be delivered whenever! This has happened several times!! So angry. They shipped an order this way that I never received for a special event & I had to replace everything because it didn't show up. CS said they would credit my account & never did. Also said they would credit account for a free upgraded shipping so I would not leave them & give them another chance. Well, I did, order a lot of things. And no credit no upgrade shipping I was charged & the same thing has happened no order has arrived 2 weeks waiting on overnight shipping! Come on!! I have never ever had any other company do this to me!! This holiday & all year every company was perfect!! Nordstrom is a zero! Lost my business!! love the products but I can buy the same thing at Bloomingdale!!!

Stumbled upon the Cafe on the third floor of Nordstrom today. I've been there so many times, but clearly I'm not paying attention to my surroundings. My husband was with me this time, so of course he wanted to take a break from shopping and grab a snack. Our snack ended up being the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich and I didn't even regret taking the break from shopping. Step in here and try it! It'll make the shopping experience even better! The 5th star goes out to David...the best server ever!!

Love the kids shoe department, they actually have shoe tie classes once a month. The young lady (Erika T) that assisted us was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Check out the picture of the cute cowgirl boots for my granddaughter, the price was unbelievable and better quality than most high end western shops and a lot more comfortable.

This is entirely about the lingerie manager Maddie - 8 months ago I was pushed to purchase a Natori bra from a Nordstroms employee. Rather expensive bra, told by the saleswoman, "worth every penny, will last you (me) years." Made the purchase, and LOVED it - fast forward to today and the bra's underwire is protruding, completely unwearable. Came to your store, spoke an employee who pulled in manager Maddie. Maddie - you were so rude and standoffish, had no empathy and offered no advice, had zero encouragement to check out the inventory and treated me like I was nothing. You were an embarrassment to Nordstrom and shame on you. I am SHOCKED a company like Nordstrom, with impeccable custom service, wastes a pay stub on you. Covid has left so many unemployed - I'm sure there are thousands more deserving to carry your title. We won't cancel our Nordstrom credit cards, because like I said, typically experience impeccable customer service - but I will never give/send any business to her department again. Retail is hurting across the country right now, but her treatment of me sent me directly to Macy's where I purchased the same new bra.

Not normally a fan of Nordstrom, I find myself on their website more than I should, so I suppose I should take that back and say I'm not a fan of the stores themselves. However, around Thanksgiving, I was on search for a dress that I once had, but had to take back due to certain circumstances. This dress went on steep sale, and I desperately tried to find this through their site and their customer service phone #. Similar to their stores, their phone service could either be great of some of the worst people I ever dealt with (I'm exaggerating but when you're known for customer service, I'd like to think I'm not too off the mark with that comment). Luckily, I had a fantastic operator who put me on hold a few times to see if she could track the dress from her end. She managed to do so, and put me right in touch with a sales rep from the store in Overland Park, KS. Never would have expected to find this there, but I'll take it. Girl I spoke to was very pleasant, and considering this was Black Friday, they weren't swamped as I had expected. To make sure I had the correct style number for the item, we went through the whole thorough description/repeat back of the information that was from the website. Looks like I finally found my dress. Shipping was a little slow due to the fact it was to be sent out the following week, and then she didn't follow up as I had asked, but I had called back myself and she then provided me with the information I would need. Said there would be a receipt inside the box. When the item arrived (late, but not Nordstrom at fault; the UPS delivery was days later than it should have been due to an issue in the early part of December), there was no packing slip or receipt. Ended up receiving a receipt via email from another rep in that store, which I have to admit is better than nothing. Overall, with a few things lacking, I was impressed with the service at this midwestern Nordstrom.

This store is level of cleanliness can be intimidating, you will never find an item misplaced. The staff is friendly and all customer service reps are willing to assist with any needs you may have. The store is well organized and makes the shopping experience easy, if you get lost just ask of the staff members.

I love Nordstrom! From online shopping to in store shopping... this company has done things right. You can always expect great help in every department from clothing to make up to shoes. They also have a large variety of options. From reasonable price to extremely expensive!!! I love the designer jean options. Nordstome does a great job carrying a variety of styles and brands to choose from and compare sizing. If you want the royal treatment check this place out and visit all their departments. Get a lil thirsty hit up their café and order a yummy java chip and continue shopping.

Are you a guy that is looking for some new clothes that will not only make you look your best but also make you feel your best; but, are also willing to spend some hard earned money? Well, then the Nordstrom's at Oak Park Mall is the spot for you. Yes, it is true, Nordstrom is über expensive! However, you absolutely get what you pay for here. Whatever it is that you may need: collared shirts, shoes, t-shirts, belts, a new suit, household wares, etc. all of these items are top of the line. On my most recent visit to the Nordstrom's at Overland Park Mall, I was in dire need of some collared shirts that fit and also a belt that fit me. I am not a very good shopper by any means; and, lucky for me Nordstrom is all about customer service. Within a mere 3-5 minutes of walking in the store and casually browsing some shirts I was kindly approached by a Nordstrom's Men's Department associate that offered to help me find the right shirts and the right sizes/fits for my body. You can tell that Nordstrom places a high value on customer service as the man who assisted me, Ted, was extremely helpful and not pushy at all! He listened to the items that I needed and did not try and sell me any more items than I came in and asked about...which is a good thing considering how darn expensive everything here is! When I was finished trying the shirts on and checking out of the store, Ted gave me his card and told me to call him in a month or two when I was ready to look at some new clothing items for the fall and he would put a selection aside for me to come in and try on. Most helpful of all, I recently lost a great deal of weight and was not quite sure what my size currently was and Ted was great at finding a couple of shirts that fit my new body size perfectly! Nordstrom's is way way far from inexpensive; but, I will continue to give my business to this location as long as they continue to offer a great selection of men's clothing and out-of-this-world customer assistance to help you in finding that perfect item of clothing!

I'm a huge Nordstrom's fan. This is the nearest one to me since I moved away from CA. It is 3 hours away. I was missing Nordstrom's so bad I made a trip up here haha. Nordstrom's always provides awesome customer service and policies. Most of the people I came into contact with at this location were great. The layout and design of this Nordstrom's was pretty comparable to other ones that I have been to. It is 3 stories and has a great selection of departments and clothes in each one. I purchased 2 pairs of shoes here, but they did not have the size and color I wanted. I was able to order it and they shipped it to my house. I got them in less then a week. Overall, my experience here was good. I do miss my CA Nordstrom's, but this one was very good.

I gave Nordstroms a scathing review in 2010. That has since changed. I forgot to take a picture of their sign which says, "Nordstroms refuses to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving." Nordstroms has great sales, but no Swatch watches, and a few other items I feel they should carry. Nordstrom sells Minnetonka moccasins. It is my passion to buy every new Minnetonka moccasins that comes out, but most of the locations I purchase the shoe are locations where Minnetonka is uber in style. Kansas City are far behind this fashion trend. Their entire shoe area is to notch. I'm not a shoe buyer person, cause unless it's Dansko, it's uncomfortable. I was impressed with their selection of shoes for people like me. When I ordered them, I paid for the shoes. Then it was sent to my house, instead of having to drive all the way to Oak Park Mall. The shoes weren't over priced, just cause it was from Nordstroms. I liked the customer service, and the Nordstroms factor. I think it's pretty cool they don't decorate till after Thanksgiving, even though alot of the stores I shop at are crafty stores, and holiday decor starts early for us artsy'fartsy people.

I hate malls and shopping. However, I had an amazing shopping experience at Nordstrom on 12/19/20. Store looked great, well stocked, well merchandised and outstanding customer service. We bought a couple fragrances and we had great customer service. Shirley was very professional, knowledgeable and really knew fragrances. I learned she had worked there for over 20 years and was an expert in the area. If every place looked like Nordstrom and every sales professional was like Shirley, I would like going to stores and shopping again. Great job Shirley!!

Love Nordstrom for their selection, customer service and beautiful store! I mostly shop Nordstrom.com just because it's easier and more convenient for me. If something doesn't fit, or needs to be returned, I can simply ship it back for free, or bring it to the store as well. I love the kids department here as well as the cafe. Makes for a fun shopping getaway!

Very nice but limited selection of items, hopefully as they said they will be moving to a new location they'll carry better designers, Kansas City isn't exactly a shoppers paradise. But the service was a plus and the sisley ladies took good care of me!

The reputation of Nordstrom is richly deserved. Not just because I know it from my previous experiences, but because of how they dealt with my most recent issue. We came here looking for Christmas pajamas for my daughter and Alice was probably the cutest most helpful employee ever! She is petite and so is one of my daughters and her advice was so helpful, she had a smile on her face the whole time, and I wish all employees at Nordstrom's were just like her! Way to go Nordstrom for finding someone like her!!! Alice rocks!!

One star, and if I could choose less I would. Nordstroms Overland Park should be ashamed of their customer service, or lack there of. The "manager" that helped us in the shoe department was less than helpful, rude, condescending, and refused to stand behind the shoes that didn't hold up. I remember when Nordstrom first opened and every customer was greeted when they walked through a door, assisted with their purchases, and there were smiling faces all over the store. And no matter what, the customer was right and the store stood behind their merchandise. I loved it! Now you couldn't offer me a free shopping spree to spend my time in this store. Frankly this store is lucky to still even be open if you ask me. And they won't make it on the plaza either. Uppity people definitely won't put up with horrible customer service!

How have I never been here in my 4+ years of living and working around OP? This is one classy operation, with excellent food and very attentive service. Loved the chicken watercress soup in particular, and the strawberry champagne cupcake was as good as Magnolia bakery in New York. The shrimp arugula corn salad was very good as well. I loved the soft jazz music, it just made me feel very relaxed.

Brought a tux jacket in to get let out for a black tie event. The night of the event got dressed put my jacket on and the button fell off because it had been put back on so half as.ed. The other button was just as loose. Thank goodness I had a black suit. What is happening at your store? I'm done and I've spent thousands with you over the last ten years.

It's a nice space to take a break from shopping and get a bite to eat. And, it's good healthy food. You can get grilled salmon or chicken, the salads are made to order in front of you. Not only that, it's reasonably priced, as well.

On the spectrum of every Nordstrom store I've ever been in, this one is... ok. If you're looking for something specific that you might have seen online, you are much better off to not waste your time and just order it online, because I have wasted many trips to this Nordstrom to discover that they never have what I'm looking for. Or you could start at Nordstrom Rack across the street, where several times I have found almost identical items for less than half the original price.

First off, KC is lucky to have a Nordstrom. The Savvy department (Ella Moss, DVF, etc.) is pretty great compared to other cities. What is lacking is the shoe department. Please bring us some real designers. There are stores all over town that carry the brands Nordstrom features. Other cities have a "Salon Shoes" section, where the top sexy designs are featured....can we have that too? Nordstrom, I love your service and style, but please don't dumb down your store for KC. We can handle the good stuff!

I buy a lot of my shoes from the Nordstrom shoe department..Men's side of course. They carry nearly the entire Ecco line, which happens to be my thing. I also come here to have my shoe's polished, for $2.50 a pair. Yes! Under 3 bux for a pro job. So I recently need my Ecco's buffed in a pinch, I call ahead and speak to Mike who tells me to come in and he will get them polished for me in 10 minutes while I wait. This is 8pm on a Tuesday night and he goes out of his way to make these babies shine. I don't buy many clothing items here, so I can't elaborate on the helpfulness or selection from other departments. I do agree with jenja in the sense, Nordstrom here doesn't seem to have all the good stuff like the stores in Denver and elsewhere. A big thank you to the guy's in the men's shoes department at Nordstrom.

Clearly the snottiest review I will ever write on Yelp....but here goes nothing. How can you not give Nordstrom a five star rating? Nordstrom is the gold standard for customer service around the country and offers patrons the finest clothing and products at Oak Park Mall. This location is no different than the rest. Workers here will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Don't see a style you like? They'll order it. Can't find your size? They'll order it. My love affair with Nordstrom started in the late 80s. As a kid growing up in Northern Virginia, Nordstrom was the go-to location to school clothes, dress up garb, and sterling customer service. Hell, I was even in a fashion show here as a 10 year old. My family fretted our move to KC in the mid-90s because there wasn't a Nordstrom nearby. When Oak Park announced the arrival of the posh box store, it was a natural transition. Over the years I've purchased all sorts of items in this store. Shoes, jewelry for the ladies, clothing, colognes, and even patronized their Cafe on the third floor (see my review). That being said, the price of the items is the next factor of this review. Nordstrom is expensive. It carries designer gear for designer prices. That Hugo Boss shirt that looks great on you is still $185.00 bucks. Great looking Lucky Jeans? 98 bones. Comfy Mephisto kicks? 200 bucks. They do have several sales throughout the year including the Anniversary Sale and Half-Yearly sale for both men and women. Prices are slashed, but still a pretty penny for the finest duds. You can, however, find some pretty awesome clothing for better rates during these sales. I walked out of here last year with a Lacoste shirt, Nordstrom brand dress shirt (always a great option especially considering the price point), Patagonia snow boots, and a short sleeve shirt from the Rail for less than 200 dollars. Not bad considering the retail price would easily exceed 500 bucks for most of this stuff. Never a bad experience here and would highly recommend this store to anyone despite the expense. Shoot, stop by and have a cup of coffee or a bite at the cafe. It's not just clothes and furry boots here. It's an experience.

Nice products. Gentlemen, do not get your products tailored. Over promise and under deliver at the sale, on the phone, and in the store at pick up. Also, men's suit department salesmen not professionally dressed or acting. Boy has this store changed. A lady called me and heard my story. Verified they made a mistake and said she would send me a gift card. No gift card. Again, I prove my point. This store is not what it used to be. Went to Jos Banks and bought new pants. No issues and pants look great.

I LOVE NORDSTROM'S. Srsly. They may not be as high end as Neiman or Saks, but my GAWD their customer service is like A-mazing. (esp since I've had a recent horrid experience with neiman-yuck). I'm also really impressed with the quality of this Nordstrom's...in Kansas of all places, the one in Pleasanton, CA doesn't even hold a match to it!

Usually my only experience with Nordstroms is to cut through it as we park at the garage and head into the mall. Saturday, my fiance and I spent a good portion of our day there. He's been looking for some clothing for wear for our wedding that fits his style and at a decent price. We decided to stop and look around Nordstroms and were pleasantly surprised! I should also note that I think they're having some special sales going on at the moment, which helped us at meeting the price point we were looking for. We ended up working with a gentleman named Ted in the mens department. We explained what we were kind of looking for and why. He was amazing. His buzzed back and forth through the mens stuff pointing out this or that, trying to hone in on the style we wanted. He helped find the look my fiance had in his head but hadn't been able to assemble yet in person and helped him figure out the right sizing of everything he needed and even helped pull out some accessories to help him get an overall image of what everything will look like together. I will definitely be more tempted to actually stop in here and check out their stuff now that we've had such a great experience.

Needed to return a belt here that was ordered online. I was kinda helped by an old lady in the mens department. She was not pleasant and rude. They made me feel like I was a total inconvience to there store and a waste of her time. To boot, this belt was for my wedding which was 2 days away. She kept telling me well we can order it for you. What about 2 days away do you not understand?!?!?! I am 30 hours away from home and I need this belt. Never has an exchange for the same belt ( with receipt in hand) been so hard in my life! The week before I had just spent close to $1000 on a new suit, tie, and belt. I want some customer service after spending that kinda money here. Don't make me feel bad and uncomfortable because of the way your system works. Just make it happen and be polite to your customer! I will buy my next suit somewhere else all because of this one lady at the Oak Park Nordstroms. For being in the Midwest this lady sure acted like an arrogant easterner.

Okay, did someone just do a customer satisfaction seminar at Nordstrom? I have been dozens of times and have NEVER gotten the customer service I received yesterday... In each department I visited! It was astoundingly pleasant to think that the gal in the ladies department really cared that I needed that navy blue cardigan! Way to go Nordstrom!

Nordstrom is a clothing store that prides itself upon the shopping experience. They provide a classy and refreshingly elegant layout that allows you to browse through their selection without standing on top of somebody else or having to weave in between mid-aisle displays. They back it up with a pleasant staff who makes it their mission to make sure you look and feel good. I'm going to write about the clothing selection from a male perspective since that's what I'm more familiar with. Nordstrom's strengths are with their suiting and business clothes. They carry a wide range of styles (they can even custom order items for you, which for larger gentlemen and athletes can be helpful) that you can choose from to piece a solid look together. I do wish some of the accessories offered a wider selection, mostly the sunglasses, socks and wallets, but these are cursory critiques. Don't forget about the shaving and skin products and the fragrance counter either. They're among the best in town. The store also has an onsite tailor shop that will go ahead and measure you, size you and do whatever hemming and hawing you need for your clothes to fit correctly. If you're looking to spruce up your look at work, need a suit for a job interview or some new items for a social gathering, Nordstrom is an excellent place to start your search. The casual selection is a little lacking. By casual selection, I mean clothes that you aren't wearing for work. Clothes you wear when you go out or maybe to a social occasion like a birthday party. Many of the items are geared towards an older gentleman and by that I'll define him as in his 50s. There's nothing wrong with that, but all though I'm not a spring chicken like I used to be, I'm not ready to go for the Tommy Bahama khaki look yet. I wish there were a broader range of items available, some of which that would be enticing for those between the college realm and the grandparents realm. I also think they could provide a stronger denim selection. Nordstrom's bread and butter is its employees and its customer service. Its staff will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your shopping experience. They'll call to remind you about upcoming sales, new products and even set up special appointments to help you shop for the upcoming season or special event. They're good at what they do and the reason the store is so successful.

I love Nordstrom. I have received nothing but great customer service from Nordstrom. I love Nordstrom's shoe selection. They have the best shoe selection in the area. I only buy my shoes from Nordstrom. The older gentlemen (sorry I don't remember his name) that has been working in the shoe department at Nordstrom for awhile, is one of the nicest sales associate's ever. He always provides us with great service. I once purchased a dress for my cousin's wedding at Nordstrom. The dress was on the sale rack and it was the only dress like it available. It was cocktail dress with fine embroidery and tiny beads all over it. There was a rip in the embroidery and Nordstrom repaired the rip for free. I also purchased a pair of UGG boots from Nordstrom. I wore the boots for a few weeks and a hole started to form on the top of the boot. Nordstrom replaced my boots with brand new boots with no extra cost. This is why I love shopping at Nordstrom. They provide the best products and if there is a problem with a product you purchased, they make it right without giving you grief.

We are lucky to have a Nordstrom. High quality clothing, good selection, excellent service is what this place is all about. This is what Dillard's would like to be. Complain about the cost? All of the quality costs and you get what you pay for. I think this place is three floors. I know I've been on two of them. Great shoes, designer jeans, shirts, dress shirts, and a decent suit department. My wife loves this place too. Her only problem is that there never seems to be enough time to try everything on.

Me and Nordy are like this ( XX ) thats my fingers crossed ;) Yelp tells me I am a "regular" here so I thought I should do a review. 5 stars..... why? Great customer service! Granted, every once in a while you could come across a snot, but just say something to the management and it is taken care of right away. (i know, ive done it) The apparel is just to my liking, and their half yearly sales are addictive! The Nordstrom Cafe is yummy for my tummy, filled with soups, salads, pizzas, panini's, and yummy desserts, all made fresh!

So, I'm actually kind of surprised it has taken me this long to craft review being that I've been frequenting this department store since like sophomore year of college! Being that as it may, I'm going to focus on my interactions with mens grooming and cologne since that's the main reason I visit Nordstrom these days. I've become fairly particular about my grooming regiment and I have come to trust places like Halls and Nordstrom to provide the quality products and brands I require. More than that, Nordstrom employs truly knowledgeable and passionate associates as opposed to sticking just whoever to make some sales. For example, on my recent visit a week or so ago, the mens grooming associate was very helpful in trying to suggest new products that may appeal to me and my skin needs. He highlighted the revamped Anthony's Logistics product that I had abandoned years ago because all of the added colors, perfumes, and parabens. The new Anthony's line has removed such ingredients and more so I happily took home some samples that he had prepared beforehand. Then I asked about restocking my Kiehl's supply. This part may get tricky for some guys because the lion's share of mens Kiehl's skincare is nestled among the women's beauty department (near the Chanel county, La Mer counter, etc) so we hightailed it over there. The women's Kiehl's expert could not have been nicer and more informative. She essentially asked me three simple questions and then recommended to me about three products off the bat. I have since tried one of the Kiehl's product I bought (the Oil-Control Moisturizer in the green packaging) and I could not be more enamored. To me, the mark of a good associate is being able to recommend and sale a well-matched product to a customer who would not normally buy it for themselves or even otherwise consider. Overall, while every experience at Nordstrom hasn't been perfect, the majority of my visits have been fruitful and I always end of leaving with a new purchase that I end up loving.

I love Nordstrom in Kansas! I shop online all the time bit NOTHING beats the Customer service here! If you want to look fabulous and hip- go to the second floor and look for Caleb. Take pictures of him for fashion inspiration- for man or women. But you have to feel cool on the inside in order to be capable of an inspiration.
